Easy to use, follows you like a puppy and does a great job.
I did my research this time (by checking Choice and here at Product Review) to weigh up all the pros and cons before investing in the Miele Complete C3 Turbo Powerline SGDA0.
My last vacuum cleaner was a $799 waste of time and money. ...talked into something I didn't want at Godfreys...hmm, I'm not the first "sucker" they fleeced. Anyway, that vacuum cleaner stopped sucking recently and rather than get it fixed, I'm selling off the accessories as spare parts to pay off this excellent machine!
I got a very good deal online and paid $369 with free delivery. Could not be happier!
We have a few Miele products (already installed in the home we bought a couple of years ago) and so far they are all very good quality.

Excellent build quality from a reputable company. It has good suction and is light and quiet. Is is easy to maneuver around objects and is equally capable on carpers as on hard floors. This is certainly a product worth considering if you are in the market for a vacuum cleaner.

Not really my Next Best Friend but superlative is my observation. This is without doubt the best unit i have ever owned. Easy to use, does the job, follows the user around without difficulty and the power head is a breeze and so efficient. Not the cheapest unit around but i have discovered that where Vac cleaners are concerned you do get what you pay for. I looked seriously at a bag less Dyson and the sales lass reckoned these are a better unit. I am glad she steered me towards the Miele.Thoroughly recommended

Happy with the item, relatively compact and light, easy to manuever, and cleans really well. Works great on our carpet as well as hard floor. There are various settings that you can change to go from wooden, tiles, carpet, low sound, etc. I recommend this product. The bags can be bought online as well.

Had a cheapy cheap vacuum cleaner before deciding to invest in something better, now I'm wondering why I didn't do so sooner. The vacuum cleaner is fantastic, great suction, easy to maneuver, and works excellent both on carpet and hard floors. Another plus is that very little dust escapes the bag so I no longer have to deal with that dusty smell after vacuuming. Great product!
I did alot of research before spending triple what other ones were. My husband used it once and replaced the bag upside-down. I can't believe there is a way it could close and run after being put in the wrong way without me knowing. The dust then collected outside the bag. I tried a number of times to fix but didn't realise it was in the wrong way. To me this is a design fault. Why is there not a bit that stops it being incorrectly fitted. A simple plastic piece would stop this . I was gutted to realise a vacuum that I had had for less that a ...

Very happy with the performance of our vacuum cleaner, we use it for our whole house every two weeks and it works great with no isssues each time. I definitely would advise anyone looking to buy a vacuum cleaner to get a Miele, you won't regret it at all. We planning on getting one as a gift for my brother in law

Great suction easy to use with the multiple power settings and cleaned the carpets better than our Dyson the long cord and suction tube allowed less unplugging and going to the next power point, made light work of cleaning our cars, the bags are a bit expensive but for the cleaning power they are worth the expense

Perfect weight, moves along easily and doesn't topple over like my previous cleaner. The vacuum strength is adjustable going from stick to the carpet strong to gentle for my Asian rugs. It's hard to believe how much dust comes out of my carpets and how much cleaner they look now- and I have an indoor cat. This is an excellent machine and almost makes cleaning a joy. I'm a Miele convert.

The vacuum suction could be better, the performance is good,it's easy to move around on my carpets when I vacuum it,I like the look of it too.It picks up most of the stuff I want to and it's easy to empty as it has no bags in it to empty. It deserves a tick.

I bought this vacuum cleaner from Aus Appliances for $390 and so happy with performance on carpet and hard floors including amazing suction. Easy to manoeuvre. Takes a while for vacuum cleaner bags to fill up. Really like the tools on board. My son and daughter both borrow it to clean their cars inside. Best vacuum cleaner ever had. Highly recommend.

This vacuum not only does the job but it is easy to maneuver, and light. Yes it is not a bagless vaccum, but seriously, bagless vaccums are so over rated. This vaccum has fantastic suction on our large rugs (grass woven and wool), tiled and wooden floors, and our carpeted rooms. The cord is extremely generous which also gets drawn into the main body/casing. The handle is extendable and locks perfectly, so it doesn't collapse spontaneously. We used to have a Dyson for years and the miele wipes the floor with Dyson by far. The Miele is simply br...
Read moreilliant, easy to store and super easy to clean. It also comes with a storage unit within its body/casing so you don't lose your other vaccum brushes ever! Just another surprise added bonus. We are so happy with the performance of this vaccum we cant recommend it highly enough.Find out how Miele Complete C3 PowerLine Turbo (SGDA3) compares to other Barrel Vacuum Cleaners

Does everything you expect and we have no complaints except that the bags are an unwelcome expense (NZD 6 each, lasts a month). At the highest suction strength settings, it is hard to push across carpet. We have a mix of short pile cream coloured carpet and vinyl floors. Our home is 250m2 and single storey, so no stairs. Long cord is good. We quite like the retro Bakelite colours. We would have no hesitation in recommending this vacuum cleaner to others.

Sometimes it takes trial and error (mostly error) to find a product that actually works well and so, six months after replacing my short-lived and disastrous Philips FC8635/71 with a Miele Complete C3 Powerline (SGDA0), I now have the confidence to say publicly that "finally someone got it right." Even when the dust bag is full, the suction continues undiminished .. it's power is impressive and attachments, neatly tucked away within the cleaner, are designed to meet the demands of couches, thick rugs and ceilings without scratching or damaging ...
Read morematerials and paint work. It's not a small light weight unit but it does have four uni-direction wheels that make it seem easy to pull in any direction without getting caught up on things. A big win for me is the longer than typical retractable power cord that gives me the freedom to clean large rooms without constantly searching for closer power points. The cord also easily retracts .. more easily than any I've used previously. I could rave on but there's no point .. this is a great unit and I'm sooo relieved that it's in my closet.- 2 reviews

I have a mix of concrete floors and carpet. This is awesome on both. I have to turn the suction down on the carpets or its just too strong to push it. My kids even willingly vax thier rooms now without being reminded! Really happy. I won't buy another brand now, this is the best.

For someone who is slightly challenged in her height this was an excellent vaccume for me!
I have owned many vaccumes over the years and this is by far the best I have ever bought. Got it on sale at harvey norman for $499. Would highly recommend this to everyone.

I have always hated cleaning floors.
I have a combination of hard flooring (polished concrete) and carpet in the bedroom and rug in the living room.
I have a dog that sheds short fine hairs which show on the dark floors. I have previously lived with two Dysons and found them cumbersome to use with there weight and bulk and they take up a lot of space once out of use. Both Dysons were Animal versions and bagless.
After reading lots of reviews I took the plunge and purchased from Harvery Norman. Currently $499 and they do 12 months inter...
Read moreest free. It has changed my life! My apartment has never been this clean and it doesn't look like a dog lives here. This version comes with a turbohead for carpets and another head for hard floors, plus a brush for your skirting boards, a couch attachment and curtain attachment which are conveniently stored onboard. I know this isn't the cat & dog model but it works excellently on pet hair so I do wonder if there is any difference? Highly recommend to those people like myself who really didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a vacuum but were sick of buying cheap vacuums that don't do a good job. I have only owned this a few days. I do hope it goes the distance!- 69 reviews

I have a house with 50/50 tile and low pile carpet so this model is great and it comes with the turbo head for carpet and the normal head for hard floors.
Even the packaging impressed me. I purchased at Harvey Norman in the city and had to carry two blocks to the office and then get it home in the train. The design of the box is such that you actually carry the box using the handle of the actual vacuum, made it so much easier to get home as it weighs 9kg. Obviously someone put some thought into that one.

Read morese and it is so quiet compared to my Dyson. I had always loved my Dyson and have been using for 4 years on what was brand new carpet so I was shocked to see that the Miele picked up on the first vacuum. Clearly the Dyson was not doing as good a job as I thought. Did a great job on pet hair with minimal passes, great job on the tiles as well and love the amount of variable suction for doing the blinds etc, something I missed with the Dyson. Also great for doing under furniture and beds. I wasn't sure how I would go with a canister vac as I have always used uprights, but am finding it really easy to maneuver and so far haven't crashed it into anything going around corners etc, it moves along really easily as it has 360 degree wheels. I think after having a bag less for so long I actually prefer to have bags, so easy and clean. There is also a great deal going at the moment where you get a whole heap of free bags, 4 sets of 4 bags with filters, so I won't need to buy any for a while.- 2 reviews

Finally replaced my 4yr old Dyson.
What I like about the Miele C3: Quiet, cleans very well, adjustable wand length, adjustable suction power - I can now vacuum my slim line blinds as well, very flexible hose, rubberised wheels which roll easily on my slate floor, able to clean very close to walls and legs of furniture, head goes under beds and sofas very easily including the turbo head, on board accessory storage.
Minus: cost of replacement bags - which I am prepared to absorb.
Conclusion: superior machine to the Dyson I rate the Miele
as 9/10

Purchased this new cleaner based on hours of internet research!
We have tiles & carpet in the house and this works really well on both surfaces. The vacuum is easy to pull along & pivots easily - this is important to me as our last machine left marks all over the walls.
Features variable suction; air driven turbo head; 11m lead.
First time that I've bought a Miele and I'm quite happy with it!
We previously owned a Dyson and found out at time of failure that it was 11 yeas old - a great trouble free run. Rather than jump straight back in and buy another Dyson, I did the internet research and found the Miele vacuum range. It took my wife some convincing but I eventually asked her to read some of the on line reviews for both Miele and Dyson (from this site). That opened the door enough for us to venture out and take a Miele for a test drive. An honest product review from a Miele rep. and we C3 vacuum cleaner was purchased.

Read moreoth very happy with the vacuum cleaner and it has easily lived up to our expectations. We have only owned the vacuum for a week so it is only early on in the relationship. Let's hope we are still this happy in a year from now. One of the strong dislikes from my wife was the fact that bags have to be continually purchased. I consider this to be a better option than dealing with the dust generated each time a bagless unit is emptied.Other Barrel Vacuum Cleaners
