Amazing little Vac!!!

published

Bought this vac on special at Harvey Norman for $199 to replace my worthless Dyson Animal that was $800 and on an extended warranty. It absolutely blows away the performance of my Dyson! Not only is it powerful but very quiet. Even at 60% power it out vacuums a Dyson. Grab one of these little suction monsters and save yourself $600!! You will not be disappointed.

Awesome reliability

published

I purchased the Miele C2 after reading about it here: https://homepowertech.co.uk/best-vacuum-cleaners/. It is really reliable. I wasn't fussed about how noisy it was and i was aware when i bought it that i was going to have to do some dragging about, that didnt bother me. I have pretty shaggy carpets, and two kids and four dogs and i needed it to be able to perform a pretty deep clean and thats what it does.

As usual, a quality product from Miele!

published

I have a Miele dishwasher and washing machine, this vacuum cleaner is just as efficient and reliable.
I had no hesitation in purchasing this vacuum, which is my first purchase from Miele for this type of appliance as I knew it would be manufactured to the highest standards.
The suction is good and has variable power and it is easy to maneuver.

Since when did you love vacuuming?

published

The Comfort C2 allergy Miele vacuum cleaner is light weight and easy to maneuver. I live in a two storey townhouse and I have no hesitation and carrying it up and down the stairs.
I only use it on my carpet that is my preference, I thoroughly enjoy using it. It has so many attachments and gets dog hair off the floor with no trouble.
When I bought it is when I made the decision that I loved vacuuming.

Miele excels

I don't think you can go past Miele for vacuum cleaners. This one, the C2 Hardfloor, I've found just great! It's quiet, efficient, doesn't scratch wood floors or tiles, and moves easily. I'm an asthma sufferer and appreciate the Hepa filter inclusion. Compact, very easy to store & I like the operating buttons on the handle - means I don't have to bend all the time. More expensive than my earlier vacuums but think it will be almost impossible to go back to any other brand!

Excellent product

published

My previous Meile vacuum gave up after 20 years so I went to Harvey Norman to seek a replacement.
I was offered a Meile for over $400. When I said I would check a competitors pricing before buying I was shown an identical Meile made in China, not Germany, and priced at $199. I purchased the Chinese made one knowing that Meile quality control would be in place at the Chinese factory.

What a superb cleaner every bit as good as my previous machine and wonderful value for money certainly as good as any Meile product I have bought.

The unit has good suction and easy to move around the home. Very quite it cleans the lounge and living area's that combined are a large living space. The floors are carpeted and the texture of the carpet is light wool blend. The vacuum does what a good vacuum should do and that is don't make to much noise.

Awesome, loving this Vacuum

published

Bought a Miele after reading excellent reviews on the product & this vacuum is truly amazing. Our Painter used our brand new Miele before we could stop him, to vacuum up plaster & crap from filling in our walls with poly filler, we thought the vacuum was going to be totally ruined, but this little vac didn't miss a beat & is still going strong! No job too big for a Miele vacuum cleaner! Cleans brilliantly all the time, best appliance we have ever purchased!

Great vac

Choice mag rate the low end Miele vacuum cleaners highly in their recommended list. That was enough for me to get one. It's a ripper, has great suction, nice and lightweight, has a 10m cord so you don't have to move it to different power points so often or mess around with an extension lead, easy to store away, very happy with it indeed.

Compact C2 PowerLine

What is the power consumption of the C2 and C3 models when operating in "standard mode" and "energy saving" mode?

For context, we run our large home entirely from rooftop solar power (with a 13.2kW Tesla Powerwall2 battery for use when the sun is not shining - e.g. overnight or on cloudy days). This means that we need to be EXTREMELY careful with every W of use during the evenings or when the weather is grey or raining.

I can see that that C2 and C3 are rated at 1800kW and 2000kW respectively, which is presumably the power draw when the vacuum cleaner is used on the standard setting - i.e. they would use 1.8kW or 2.0kW if used for an hour on a standard setting.

The critical issue is therefore: what is the power draw in watts for these two models when the system is using the "energy saving" mode?

Compact C2 PowerLine

Does this have an adjustable-length rod/handle? I've heard owners of the C1 model complain that the handle is NOT adjustable (and especially difficult for very short people, who find it too long). I also know that the C3 IS adjustable. However, I can't find any specific information regarding the C2 model.
