Brilliant!
It cleans the dishes brilliantly!
It is exceptionally quiet. We are using the QuickPowerWash which is a 56 minute cycle.
Favourite feature is how we can put long stemmed wine glasses in the bottom draw and the can be safely washed. I also like the cutlery pull out draw. This ensures all cutlery is washed and no food is missed.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this dishwasher as a great investment.
We purchased in white.

Excellent, thorough, efficient.
The Miele is a quiet dishwasher and thoroughly cleans dishes efficiently using the Automatic feature. The cutlery tray is uniquely designed so that all cutlery and knives are thoroughly cleaned and dried without water stains. my favourite feature is when it has completed the wash, the door opens slightly and lets out all the steam.

Super clean and quiet
Quality build as you’d expect from Miele. I bought this one to replace my old 6 series Miele. The 6620 is quiet and has a neat door opening function at the end of the cycle - helps with drying. Plates and cuttlery come out clean and glasses spotless and shiny. The 50 minute express wash works well so I’ve not bothered with the longer cycles.

Could be better
Bought to replace a Miele Dishwasher that lasted 30 years, had high expectations. Dishwasher is good on the longer cycles that are over 2 hours long, but the quick wash does not clean that well by comparison. It is pretty quiet and has a quiet setting too. The cutlery tray is amazing and you save time getting them out and cleans them better than the old basket style. Someone insisted on the AutoOpen feature to help dry the dishes once the cycle has finished, save your money and get the model down, it helps but it's not worth the extra $200.

Don't believe the hype about service
Our last Miele dishwasher only lasted about 7 years (way less than it was meant to). I rang Miele and they tried to fix it over the phone but couldn't. Because of where we live they didn't send their own service team, just a local company that plugged a computer into the dishwasher for a diagnostics report. They couldn't tell me on the spot what needed fixing, other than it could be a bunch of expensive stuff. Given the possible cost of the repairs and that we are a busy household, we decided to buy a new machine.
We were told by our local p...Read more
remium retailer that Miele would reimburse the cost of the technician's visit. We purchased last September 2017 and despite frequent follow-ups by our retailer we still haven't been rebated, it's now February 2018. This is ridiculous service for a premium product and really annoying for a busy household.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Miele dishwasher
I have been a Miele customer ever since, 30 years. From dryer to almost everything in the house. Lately my dishwasher which is just 5 years old doesn't clean as it used to . It left grease and dirt on cutleries and plates. Repairer came had it fixed, replaced part but still have the same problem with water inlet. Repairer came again and said it needs a new computer part that thing where you press on and off that whole thing and it cost about $600 . I decided to just buy a new Miele dishwasher as I thought if there's a problem then it will be o...Read more
ngoing who knows . Maybe I was just unlucky to have bought a defective Miele product. Normally my Miele appliances lasted me 14 years. Yes it's quite and wash it clean but not my latest dishwasher. I still bought a new Miele dishwasher yesterday .Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Fantastic integration - long run time
Cleans the dishes and cutlery really well but doesn’t dry as well I hope unless you open the door straight after the cycle ends.
Very long run time with each cycle on average lasting 2 hours.
Wonderfully large cutlery rack and really good size for big plates and bakeware. Very quiet

Its good!
We bought this dishwasher last month and am very happy with it. The cleaning performance is fast and good overall. This dishwasher leaves cups sparkling clean. I like the face the you can adjust the height of the top tray to allow for different kinds of utensils to fit in. The auto door open feature is also nice as it avoids moisture being captured inside.

Very Disappointed
I purchased the dishwasher a couple of weeks back and I am very dissatisfied with the product. I rarely get a clean load as there are always crumbs and stains on the some of the dishes. The trays are so lose / smooth that the slightest push results in the dishes banging against each other and the glasses toppling over.
I have used Bosch machines for the last 17 years without any issues and only moved to Miele as it was highly recommended.
Seriously considering returning the machine if Miele cannot resolve the problems.

Excellent!
This is the best dishwasher I've had! Very quiet, washes & dries very efficiently, & the door opens once finished to ensure everything stays dry. The automatic feature is excellent & I love the cutlery tray. A great size & fits a great amount of things per wash. Highly recommended!

Do you use finish tabs, rinse aid and dishwasher cleaner? How does it compare to the Miele brand?

We get frequent power outages. When the power came back on, our old Miele dishwasher would resume operating from the point where it was when the power went off and just complete the cycle. The new 6620 just stops in its tracks. When the power resumes, the dishwasher is just sitting there and the cycle needs to be started all over again. This is a concern to me as we only have tank water and we need to be very careful with the amount of water we use. Added to this is the extra power and detergent used to wash the load all over again. Why did Miele change the system used in the old dishwasher? It seems a very retrograde step and certainly not very environmentally friendly. Is there any way around this?

Does the machine automatically come with any type of steam guard for under the bench? Do I really need to buy the "UBS G 60-1 Dishwasher built-under kit"?
Also, if I turn off the Auto open feature, will the fan alone dry the glassware and dishes well enough?
1 answer
Yes it does. Steam has not been a problem and dishes do dry better with this function.
