$2899 down the drain!!
spent almost 3k on this machine in November 2016. Works great for 3 yrs till November 2022 when it stops working. Getting a technician to travel to me is impossible the hole 2 in my area refuse to come cause its out of there way (1 hour out of town) miele refuse to help. I saved my butt off to purchase what I thought would be a great investment but I was so wrong. My 400 aldi washer lasted 7 yrs! I'm so cranky. It's now April and I am still waiting for tech guy! And wasting money at the laundry matt. Obviously I'll have to just buy a new machine but ill be staying way clean from meile products.
Purchased in November 2021 at Harvey Norman for A$2,899.00.

A lemon and bad Miele service too
This machine was bought in Sep2015, the dispenser stopped working in Oct2015. Yes after 1 month! Then the service guy came and then said the parts needs to come from overseas so i waited till Nov15 and heard nothing and they apparently said the part was with technician on van and I still heard nothing until Dec15, then I rang up service then I have being told they will replace the machine on 29th Dec 2015. Then after 2 years and 2 weeks Dec2017, immediately the warranty finished for the replacing machine, the machine with faulty code F0214, th...Read more
is time Miele honored the warranty and replaced the faulty electric panels. Now Jul2019, this machine broke down again this time is F0212, i complaint to Miele and i being told to agree to pay $179 call out fees and technician will assess and tell me issue. I totally dont get it how can the code displayed and they cant tell me what problem it is. It is like forced me to agree to pay $179 before agree to tell me what was the problem. I required them for full refund, they refused it. I am now in the process collecting all evidence to go fair trading because an average life expectancy for a washing machine is 12-20 years, within nearly 4 years and 3 faults for a premium price of $2679, is it fair to a customer? Do i get what I paid for? Plus how much time i have to take time off to deal with this?!
Purchased in September 2021 at Domayne NSW, Alexandria for A$2,679.00.

Not Worth the Money
Disappointed. Although economical with both water and electricity, I only use about 5 of the programs. Ran perfectly until 2 months after warranty expired. Regularly cleaned the machine and then halfway through a load, an alarm sounded to 'call service' regarding 'waterproof system'. There was a 2 week delay before I could get service. It was repaired but 1 year later the same problem has occurred. Not impressed as I had my last machine for over 25 years and with a family of 6 I needed a reliable product.

Not my favourite
I purchased Miele washer dryer combo in 2016 and have been disappointed with both. The washer is quite, efficient and the twindos system is useful, although expensive detergent. I find that I use very few of the washing functions though. My whites are typically grey in one or two washes and the need to do hygiene cleans constantly is a pain. Today was the last straw as I pulled out the fabric softener drawer which I rarely use and found it to be full of mould. The design is such that it has many small crevices and inaccessible areas, making it ...Read more
very difficult to clean. It was really quite disgusting. I had so soak it in bleach for a period of time. I also found the water sits in the rim of the washer and mould growth is a problem here also. I have had front loaders before and never had a problem with this. I just feel it is a design flaw that makes your machine smell and it is extremely difficult to clean. I am surprised at how disappointed I am with what is supposed to be a quality brand. I have also had to replace the twindos system once already, under warranty, due to system fault. Will be returning to my preferred LG brand when I offload this set up.1 comment

Best washing machine I've ever owned
We've owned many washing machines over the years and this unit it the best so far. Love the TWINDOS system which means we don't need to put washing powder in each load. It autodoses from a reservoir. Very configurable, quiet and the clothes come out clean and almost dry. We bought this in a package with the TKD450WP Heat pump dryer which is also a fantastic unit. Installation was taken care of by Miele and they did a great job.

excellent washing machine
The Miele washing machine is very gentle in washing. It cleans the clothes and rinse the clothes very well. There are different washing settings to choose suits different clothing conditions. It is very quiet when running. The digital setting is very easy to use. I really like it cleans the clothing well and not wear out the clothes.

This is a very good washing machine
I am generally very happy with my purchase, the best part is that I don't need to load it with detergent and fabric softener for most of the programs. It perfectly adds up required amount of detergent and softener and I haven't noticed any stain left on the clothes after the wash.

My second Miele washing machine and I love it
My first Miele I had for 10 years and sold only due to moving to new place. Now I got new one again and I love it. Clothes are always clean. Doesn't use too much water. Works quiet while spinning (but must be well balanced). I remember that with my old one, I had to regulate legs occasionally to keep it well balanced.

Doesn't use much water..
I love this front loader. It washes better than my old top loader and uses a third of the water saving me on water bills. Would highly recommend it!!! My Mum is considering purchasing one also. I wont let anyone near it and even though I hate having to wash I love how I don't have to pre-soak the majority of clothing because it has many different cycles to suit all the different types of washing loads.

Good Quality Washing Machine With Excellent Washing Results
Our Miele WKH130WPS is a replacement for an ASKO washing machine that was twenty years old and on the way out. We have always had front loader washing machines and this is our third front loader after a Hoover and the ASKO.
As you can imagine we were happy with the ASKO after twenty years mainly problem free and solid service. When we looked for a new ASKO front loader we found ASKO has a new owner Gorenje Group, Slovenia. We looked at Miele as they have a very good reputation for the quality of their products and washing results. Research...Read more
ing on the internet and reviews confirmed this. But they are expensive. The Miele holds a decent size load, is very quiet in operation and the TwinDos is a good feature dispensing exactly the right amount of detergent for the load size and degree of soiling. You can use any liquid washing detergent with the TwinDos system and you still have the option to use washing powder via the draw if you wish. The spin speed is very high thus reducing the amount of time to dry the clothes. There is a washing program for all material types. Some of the programs are quite long taking around two hours which may not suit some people especially those who are use to the relatively quick programs of top loaders. However it does have a quick power wash program and express twenty program. Both of which work well. Whatever is washed comes out clean when using the appropriate program. As we have always had front loaders we are well aware of the requirement to: 1/ Prevent excessive suds formation by not to over dosing with washing powder. Use front loader washing powder only. The TwinDos works well in this respect by not overdosing and if you have very soft water the amount the TwinDos dispenses can be reduced.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Amazing Washing Machine and Energy Efficient
Does a great job at washing both heavy and delicates. Large enough to wash bedding and spins extremely fast which makes drying much easier. Easy installation and setup, instructions are very simple to follow. Only runs on cold water and heats itself which is another cost saving. Am considering Miele products for my home after this great experience.

Worth the price
After deciding to part with my 20yo Bosch I took the plunge to purchase this Miele washing machine and very impressed!
This machine is whisper quiet, has lots of washing programs and options and I'm actually really sold now on the TwinDos system.
Only challenge is that washing a few times each day (and with cold water), we regularly need to do a 'hygiene' wash as suggested by the machine.
Will be most curious to see if this lasts for 20 years to justify its price but so far so good

Ultimate washing machine - worth the expense
After doing a lot of research on washing machines, despite the hefty price tag, I finally decided to invest in a Miele and I couldn't be happier.
There is just no comparison between this machine and my previous Maytag front loader.
My clothes have never been cleaner and even stubborn body odours are removed. It is so so super quiet and the clothes smell so fresh, I think my clothes will definitely last longer.
The twindos feature is so handy and convenient, it is a definite must!!!

We have a Miele washing machine WKH 130 WPS. We have been advised that the Quick Power Wash programme should not be used because of the the good quality water we have in Australia. This programme is for Europe where the water quality is poor. Any advice?
Questionasked
Hi all. I have washing mashine TwinDos W1. My understanding is that the hot water is supplied by washing machine heater however when the cleaninig cycle is over the clothes comes out cold. Does that mean it heats the water only during washing programme and rinse with the cold water?
