Fantastic and best product I've used 15 years. My 18 year old daughter also loves it.
Doesn't strip off the natural oil in the skin which is most important, leaving the face hydrated. It flattened any kind of pimples and help heal any scaring. Won't replace or to any other cleanser. My daughter also uses Moo Goo milk wash for the last 10 years for her eczema. It's an excellent product. My family also uses Moo Goo Eczema and Psoriasis cream on a daily base.
Purchased in March 2021 at Chempro Chemists for A$24.99.

I tried few times. But find the oil stuck on my face really hard to wash off with water. So I had to use other face wash
There is no effect change on my skin. I feel very greasy on my face after using this oil and very hard to wash off with water. I Was very surprised to see all the good reviews.
Purchased in March 2021 at Priceline for A$23.00.

Great oil cleanser- easy to use and non greasy
Loved it. Great results on my combination skin. Feels really nice on, it's a good thickness, not too runny so it's easy to use and not too messy like previous oils I've tried.
No greasy residue left on my skin, just soft and clean.

Effective, but a little messy
I am a big fan of Moogoo, so I was excited to try their Oil Cleanser. I'm rather picky with products I apply to my face, but Moogoo has never let me down, and this product was no exception. When used correctly, it leaves my skin feeling clean and soft. I have relatively clear skin, but the Oil Cleanser always clears up any breakouts quickly. My only con with the product is it can be a little messy, I found it was a bit runny but once I was aware of this it was easy enough to avoid making messes.

Amazing
I am in my late 30's and have always had problem skin. I have used everything. Lancome, Clinque, Chanel, Natura Bisse...you name it, I've tried it. I have spent a fortune on skincare. I have even gone down the medical route with Retin A. With age and pregnancies my skin has cleared over the years and I now have combination skin with the very occasional breakout. If I don't exfoliate, I get black heads.
I stumbled across Moogoo at the chemist. I had heard from other mums it was great for kids with rashes etc. I bought some Milk wash and Udder...Read more
cream and OMG. Amazing. I then went out and bought the oil for oily skin. I use the milk wash morning and night. At night I also use the oil. I wet a face washer and microwave for 60 seconds, then place the washer on my face which has a steaming effect. Clearest skin ever, smooth, not spots or bumps. Like I've had a facial every night. I am also using the Vit C serum for the eyes and Full Cream Moisturiser as a night cream. Its been 3 weeks now and I have never had these results with any brand/ products before. Would highly recommend you give it a go. All natural too :) Results are amazing, cheap, all natural Nothing2 comments
1. Yes I do. You don't have to but I like the steaming affect it has on my skin, like a mini facial. My skin is much clearer and cleaner.
2. So far so good re Vit C. I think I need to use it for a mon... Read more

I NOW HAVE NORMAL SKIN!!
At 30 years old I had come to the conclusion that my skin would always be super oily, red across my nose with enlarged pores and dry patches near my mouth and nose. I have used nearly every product under the sun (super expense and cheap) to try and correct my problems and would usually still be an oily slick by the time I arrived at work in the morning and would constantly need to touch with powder all day.
I have been using Moogoo Oil Cleaners for normal skin for around 2 weeks now and a few days ago it seems that my skin has literately sto...Read more
p producing too much oil. A light powder on the nose at lunch time and good for the entire day, I am amazed! It must be because I'm no longer stripping oil from my skin by using the harsh products I was using, my skin no long needs to overcompensate for the oil. My dry patches have also cleared up, the redness settle down and my pores are actually getting smaller! I have used so many pore minimizing creams without success and I can't believe I found a solution that fixes all my skin issues in one go! I now have normal skin!!!! So happy! I wish I could buy the cleansing oil by the barrel! No longer, oily, red, have dry patches and is minimising my pores! The bottle leaks a bit but I believe they have recently changed their packaging1 comment

Fantastic cleanser.
I was a bit sceptic to try an oil cleanser but after years of using an expensive cleanser that I could no longer afford I wanted to try something more affordable and suspected my current cleanser was leaving my skin a bit dry. I tried the Combination oil cleanser and was so excited and happy with the results. My skin feels clean but not stripped after using this. My breakouts have stopped and my skin 'glows'. I didn't have dry skin as such beforehand but I definitely used to see dry patches. I no longer have any dry patches and my skin is not oily due to this method either. Very happy!
Price, gentleness on skin, great moisturising cleanser
The only con is the pump bottle which seeps oil out the top of it and leaves it all over the vanity.

Love this product
After enduring excessively dry skin for almost 3 weeks where it was just flaking off my face after a change in laundry detergent, I purchased the oil cleanser for dry skin - two treatments and my skin is back to normal. It works for me - as does the scalp cream by Moo Goo that clears up the dermatitis I get on my scalp.
I'm now a Moo Goo convert and like the fact that I am not putting any parabens, detergents, overly perfumed products on my skin, and my skin is loving me for it.
I find Moo Goo reasonably priced although the Oil cleans...Read more

My skin hated it!
I have heard great promises about the OCM (oil cleansing method) and decided to give it a try on my combination skin (oily t zone, occasional pimple, dry cheeks) I purchased the MooGoo oil cleanser for combination skin and followed the instructions to the letter. I wanted to love it. I really did. I liked the fragrance, and the first few times I used it my skin looked fabulous, hydrated and glowing. After a week my skin looked dull and I had small pimples appearing all over my face, multiplying by the hour every day.....I perservered, as I had ...Read more
read that the OCM can cause your skin to 'purge' and cause breakouts for a few weeks and then start to work miracles. And this is partially true - by week 3 the pimples seemed to vanish....but then my skin started to flake around my jaw line. Nothing seemed to help this, and wearing make up was a definite 'no go' as it settled in the flakes and looked awful! I stuck it out for 5 weeks but when my mother commented that my skin looked so dull and dry, I stopped using it. It took a month for the flakes to vanish completely, and 3 months later my skin still does not feel as good as it used to. This product is not for me. At all. Will never try another oil cleanser again. Natural Australian company Didn't do anything positive for my skin. At all.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Pimples be gone!
I've been using the oily skin cleanser for about 6 months now and love it. I used to use proactiv because that was the only product I found that worked for my pimples but after years of proactiv use my skin started getting very dry and I knew I needed to change skin care for my aging skin (32 years now).
At first it's really hard to get used to the feeling of rubbing oil on your face. Especially because I have oily skin and it feels like you're going to give yourself more zits by adding even more oil. But believe me it really works. No mo...Read more
re super tight feeling skin after you wash either. I recently stayed at my in laws over Christmas and didn't pack my moogoo and the Zits started forming after just a couple of days of no moogoo. I use it in conjunction with the moogoo acne cleansing cream which I also love though if you live in Qld you may want to use the cream only at night and use a light moisturiser during the day as it is quite heavy. I love, love, love it. Simply the best cleanser I've found for my skin and pimples. leaves skin soft but didn't help clear my oily skin
I have dilated pores so my skin is oily. It used to be bumpy, I had blackheads and hormonal break outs that took massive proportions. I have tried lots of well-known brands of skin cleanser with the "special oily skin" toners, creams etc... nothing helped until I started using natural products. Doing a trial run I bought Moogoo's Milk Wash and Billy goat soap. I washed my face in the morning with Moogoo, at night with Billie goat and hydrated with moogoo skin milk. After 2 weeks, my pores starting clearing, my skin wasn't bumpy, and break-outs ...Read more
disappeared before becoming visible and inflammed. Sold on Moogoo I decided to try the Oil Cleansing Method since it worked for lots of other people with oily skin. But after a few uses my skin became bumpy again and break-outs weren't clearing up. So I stopped using it. By then I had run out of the milk wash and billie goat soap but I had a Moogoo soap bar (oatmeal and honey) so that's what I'm still using (and still hydrating with Moogoo Skin Milk). My skin is back soft, no more bumps and I soon as I stopped using the Oil method the acne starting clearing ! So I am not throwing rocks at the Oil Cleanser because it did left the skin on my cheeks soft, and it is obviously working for other people. I still would recommend to give a shot at that product since it's all natural. And just for the information if it can help and save time for anyone, no much can be done to fix dilated pores, it's genetics and the older we get the more dilated they get. Dilated pores makes the skin oily and very prone to acne, black-heads ect.. since dust and dirt and dead skin cell can enter them easily. Alcohol and chemicals only give a temporary relief but lead to the pores dilating even more in the long run since they dry the skin. The best thing is to keep the skin clean with mild, natural cleanser, hydrate it well and avoid anything that will clog them. made from natural ingredients didn't clear my oily skin1 comment
Hydrate your skin. Use product high in water this helps to counteract oil production such as serums that are water based. The oil cleansing method requires efficiant removal of product.20 year beauty therapist veteran!!

Not good for acne prone skin
I purchased this after reading all the wonderful reviews - a purchase I now regret. I have acne-prone skin which became so much worse during and after the use of this product - my skin is still recovering. I should have stopped using the product when my skin broke out during the first week of use however I thought that it was just the product bringing all the bad stuff to the surface and it would get better with time... four weeks later it was getting progressively worse, not better, so I gave up. I've heard good reviews from other people so maybe it works for some skin types but personally, I wouldn't recommend it for acne prone skin types.

Excellent
After reading recently about Glycerin (glycerine, glycerol, glycl alcohol) and the fact that it is not the moisturiser it is claimed to be. I went on a mission to find a product that uses ingredients that are gentle, effective and natural. Glycerin actually drys out the skin from the inside out because it draws moisture from the basal (lower layers) of the skin bringing it to the surface so the skin appears moisturised when it is actually doing long term damage.
Only purchased the Milk Wash yesterday and I am blown away! Love it Love it Love it! I am estactic to finally find such a product. I am in love. :)

Overrated and overpriced - don't waste your money
I was so excited about my moogoo cleanser and moisturiser. After all the hype I went and spent nearly €50 on moogoo products. Excited, I googled reviews but once I read this site's reviews I became wary. All of the previous comments are more like adverts and less like reactions to products. It made me wonder were they written by moogoo employees.

smells cheap and does not moisturise. My skin is combination oily/normal/dry but felt really tight after using a large quantity of this. I tried applying more later but it didn't help. I ended up patting my skin with my previous moisturiser to take the tightness away. Pointless. Full cream? More like skimmed milk. I'm kicking myself for being swept away in the hype. Moogoo should spend less money on their marketing and more on their products. Or maybe they should stick to just making products for cow skin - human skin is out of their league in my opinion. The smell of the cleanser Expensive and did nothing for my skin.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Best cleanser I've ever used
Gentle, effective and cleared my acne like nothing else did. No more medications, no more harsh chemicals, no more dry and peeling skin. Skin is left soft and supple after washing, no redness and pimples are instantly flatter.
It works! All natural, inexpensive, certainly won't harm our skin.

Questions & Answers
Melasked
I know this might be a silly question but do you wet your face prior to putting the oil on or does it just go straight on dry skin?
1 answer
The instructions are at the back of the bottle. Also in the page of the product in Moogoo's website.
https://moogoo.com.au/oil-cleanser-combination.html
Copied below:
Directions: The Oil Cleanser can be used in two ways:
For everyday washing, massage some oil onto the face while showering or washing. Allow a minute for the oils to work into the pores. Rinse off with water. No other cleanser should be required. Apply a moisturiser afterward as normal. Note: A toner should not be required as there is some astringent effect with the oils.
For deep cleansing to help clear problem skin, massage the oil onto the face. Apply a warm wash cloth over the face to warm the old oils and waxes in the pores which helps in rinsing them away. Wash off with cold water and apply a moisturiser as normal.
