I was really disappointed with this product.
I felt like I didn't like how inconsistent the heat was and the fact that I had to go over and over the same section of hair. I have very fine hair and after only 2 weeks of persisting I found that it was starting to damage my hair.
It heats up quickly and is very smooth while styling. I just don't believe that it stand up to what it claims or in comparison with other similarly priced products on the market.

I purchased from hairhouse warehouse it was faulty from first use it wouldn't turn on. I returned and they easily exchanged for me on the spot. 2nd muk curler I only used twice on third time again faulty won't turn on. I've had an unbelievable bad run. It works beautiful and great holding curl. But obviously issues internal. I've used this styler in different homes so it's not a surcharge from a certain power point. It's the curler itself faulty parts. Muk have been helpful hopefully 3rd times a charm as I really do love the barrel of curl and the hold lasts.

I have owned a number of hair straighteners over the years, and whilst I was hesitant to buy this one, I'm glad i did. I have never used this brand before and I am definitely happy I tried it. Also, I have long, think hair and my previous straightener had wider plates to accommodate (this was recommended to me by a hairdresser). This one doesn't have wider plates, but given the result, I don't need them.

My previous straighteners cost much more also, whereas this one was much cheaper.

Overall, highly recommended!

Absolutely love this product! I cannot go a day without using my Muk 230- IR hair straightener! As a hairdresser I've tried many straighteners over the years & this is by far the best one yet! With a temperature of 230 it really does the best job & beats any hair straightener.

Super fast heating up and the best results I've had using hair straighteners. No snagging at all just glides through hair effortlessly.

I bought this Muk straightener a couple of months ago and I have to say it's one of the best straightener I have ever had. Glides through my thick weavy hair n leaves them straight n shiny. Cord is super long cord and love the auto shut off feature. Superlike it!

I bought his from Hairhouse Warehouse & the product failed within 2 days. I had to send to their company as the store denied to exchange it for me due their internal issues with the brand. The replacement sent out was also faulty. I got lucky 3rd time as this time they sent a straightener in working condition. The machine is really difficult to clean as the product gets stuck in between & sides. Just because of this experience i would not rate this brand a 5 star.

when my ghd straighteners broke i was told that ghd weren’t that good anymore and muk was really good,i looked up reviews and they sounded good but having always used the ghd i was worried but i took the chance and bought the wide plate ones,they are better than ghd my hair is so straight i love them so much would never go back to ghd again!!!

Love this product, it is so easy to use, with the wide wand it takes half the time to finish in comparison to others and it heats up in seconds!

Ive owned a GHD for a few years but was advised to use Muk by a hairdresser and lucky I took the advice, This has to be the best results I have ever been given from a hair straightener. My hair even looks quite healthy.

I was due for a new straightener after using my GHD for 4 years. I was talked into buying a MUK STYLE STICK 230-IR WIDE PLATE at hairhouse warehouse. When I moved to Dubai from Perth it stopped working before 1 year! now I cannot justify buying another good hair straightener here because they cost much more in Dubai. Also I cant find any warranty services where I am. I'm not happy.

Works better than my gdh! No burning smell or dry burnt hair feel, it's amazing straightens my thick curly hair so easy and trust me that's a miracle

Omg this would have to be the best ever hair straightener invented. I had a well known brand and i thought it was good which it was but this has the wow factor easy to use doesn't catch hair either

Lower price than GHD however it is high standard quality. It does make my hair smooth and sleek and is gentle on my hair. It is great for overseas travel - not required a transformer. I like a function that the straighter is automatically switched off after an hour if you forget to switch off.

After having my GHD for 6 years running, I asked for a new straightener for my birthday. Mum got talked into buying the Muk by a hairdresser at Hairhouse Warehouse and thank goodness she did! This has to be the smoothest, fastest and best results I have ever been given from a hair straightener. My hair even looks healthy when using this product and I am just blown away by the quality!

I recently purchased a Muk straightener on recommendation by my hairdresser. I was replacing my original GHD which I'd had for 11 years. I have not been disappointed at all with my decision. It straightens so quickly, my hair is long and thick so it used to take me approx. 1 hour to straighten but now I can get it done in less than 30 minutes.
As it is such a high temp straightener, I am conscious of not holding on the same piece of hair for too long as I worry about burning my hair.

I've had my muk-IR for a couple of years now and still amazes me. It's gentle on my hair and leaves it feeling nice and sleek without damage. I love the different temperature settings and IR properties are great.

i got the wide plate Muk iron, it honestly will straighten super frizzy hair in one quick pass. i use it on myself and have one for clients also. it is (along side the cloud 9) the best flat iron ive ever purchased, and would highly recommend to everyone!

Doesn't work on thick coarse hair, barely straightens. Not happy with hairhouse warehouse for recommending it to me. Much prefer halo or ghd. Yes it's probably not causing my hair as much damage caus it's not very hot.
