No returns on clearance items
I went to buy a dress on clearance (it wasn't even that discounted) and was told I couldn't return it. I did not buy the dress. How on earth are Myer going to sell clearance clothing? They'll have stock sitting there for ages. Very disappointed with their new policy. I'll go buy a dress somewhere else.

No return or refund for clearance items
Myer lost another customer. I usually shop at Myer in my local area but with the "no refund on clearance items", I will never shop at Myer again. There are shops that will offer you a store credit on sales items but not Myer. Myer is so strict in their return policy since October 2022 that it looked like people have to buy full price items from them. I can buy anywhere if I have to pay full priced. Why do I have to shop at Myer?

Wonderful Iron which replaced the one I had for 6 years. I do a lot of ironing as my husband is an Anglican priest and it glides, steams, with effortless ease and perfect results

Exceptional customer service by Lena at the Chatswood NSW store today
I was shopping for a top and also a christmas tree today at Myer Chatswood in NSW. In the tree section on level 6 I asked for some help to find the particular size tree I wanted and the retail assistant there (dont have her name) told me she would go out the back to find one as there wasnt stock on the floor. Cut to me waiting for at least 15 mins with no sign of this assistant. ep waiting. Finally, the right person came along, Lena, and when I explained the story she immediately said she would go and find me the tree and was back in about 4 minutes with it. Not only that, the top I wanted to purchase in the same transaction was not coming up on her system so she walked down herself to get the code from the person at Seed so she could enter it manually. Then, after all that, she wheeled the trolly herself out to the car park and helped me put the tree in my boot as I had my daughter in the pram. Fantastic, exceptional service!! She more than made up for the sub par experience I had with the initial retail assistant (who never ended up coming back!).

Myer Santa Land Rundle Mall
Even though we shop in myers our child left the Santa Land crying. Because we didn't buy or pay for the photo package they said our child could not come in. They then let in a family/Child that had paid for photos and then closed the door in our child's face causing him to cry. Is it all about money for them and the staff not polite about it. How low has myer$ fallen since I was a boy. They have lost our family as a customer permanently. Go to David Jones its much much better.

Fantastic customer service
Fantastic service from Jenna from Clinique on Saturday at Joondalup. Jenna has served me a couple of times now and always goes out of her way to give me great advice and make sure I get the right products. A huge thank you to Jenna and Myer.

Clearance items - no returns
Myer used to have a great returns policy but that has dramatically changed for the worse. I often bought clearance items, mainly clothing for my family. I could take the clothes home for my husband and children to try on. Usually keeping the majority but occasionally needing to return due wrong size or unsuitable item.
With the Myer no return on clearance items I certainly wont be taking any chances. Myer you have lost a customer.

No men allowed!

women are permitted? she replied not my rules? I believe In simple terms, the law says you are not allowed to treat someone differently based on "attribute". Think sex, age, race, beliefs, sexuality, family responsibilities, political beliefs or pregnancy. There are also two main types of discrimination direct and indirect. My failed quest in store and online
So I was in Myer, money burning a hole in my pocket and ready to spend.
The mission: brand new iron.
I had seen online they had quite a broad range so I wanted to go and touch, feel and buy. I walked into the store and a clerk looked at me with no acknowledgment or greeting - if the had taken the time to say hi I wouldve requested his help. The moment past.

ed the first guy because there was no one else around. It was crickets in the night. Unless staff are hiding from customers they must be available to help customers. Feeling slightly downtrodden I managed to locate a female staffer behind a counter. She wasnt serving anyone or helping but just waiting there. I approached her because apparently customers need to make the approach at Myer. I felt reinvigorated in my quest for my iron. I asked in a spirited manner where can I find the irons. As she waved her hand into a general direction of some corner she answered -over there I can see them from here. Slightly abashed because I couldnt see them I thanked her and set off in the general direction of the flippant hand wave. After another 5 minutes of seeking I hit what I initially thought was the pay load. Keen to put an iron In my hand and test the next 10 years or ironing business shirts I realised my quest had all been for naught. I had got pay dirt. The range I had witnessed online wasnt here...at all. There was a meagre selection and the three I had identified online werent there at all. Finally defeated I walked out of the store. I had bought 2 TM Lewin shirts over 150 dollars I washed never worn took back and got denied replacements
I had bought TM Lewin business shirts that were too big for me. Store manager didn't offer any compensation or help and were very rude and dismissive. Will not be going back

They give you back less then u paid on refunds
So, apparently if u purchase something for your partner and want to refund it within the thirty day period with your bank statement and not the original docket they can just decide to give you back less, awesome ! I paid 39 for a mens top as a gift which didnt fit, returned within the thirty day period with tags on top as wasnt used and they gave me back 29, great service right, I called to complain and reluctantly they would refund the difference if I came back into the store, I have since decided to leave the money as its embarrasing to feel ...Read more

Heritage Cotton Mattress Protector
I purchased a Myer Heritage Mattress Protector Superfine 100%Cotton. I am so impressed with this Mattress Protector. It stays put and is great quality, comfortable and cool
I have a Sheridan one that constantly moved and might I add is not of the quality of the Heritage one. Sad for me as I was a big Sheridan fan. Well done Myers, this is a Quality product.
December 7th 2022 Update: Gazman linen shirt
I purchased a Gazman Linen shirt it wasnt available in store and the lovely assistant did a ipad order for me. I received in 3 days free postage.. Great service.I have done this before and am extremely happy with Myer. Thank you very much . The Quality of the shirt is amazing.

Lots wrong
First of all a warning.....read the discount signs thoroughly. Big discount signs, but they only apply to the top shelf!! Bought 3 items expecting 25% discount only to find I got 0%. I did not have the time or inclination to change my choices. I also got the impression that this was a common occurrence and the till attendant seemed amused!
Also, no one around offering help, and the changing rooms were a mess, with clothes on all the hooks, seats and even the floor.

New Myer Returns Policy UNFAIR on Consumers!
Myer has recently introduced a new returns policy and it goes against the Australian way. I would buy gifts on clearance for family and friends, most times they'd keep it but sometimes they wouldn't want it- hence i would go back to store and get a refund and i would ALWAYS go back to Myer to shop another time for myself or others. Great service from leonardo sydney city

understaffed, no customer service
Fed up with the lack of sales staff at myer stores,especially in shoe departments.. waiting 30 mins to get a shoe size is not acceptable.. trying to even phone the store to have something put aside is impossible with no one to answer the phones.. no wonder people choose to shop on line

Excellent customer service
I was in the Northland VIC MYER over the weekend and was looking to buy a gift from a wedding gift registry. The lady sales assistant that served me went above and beyond in helping me meet my needs she was so good, she was the only one I could see on the home ware floor but really helped me pick what to get from the registry she knew most things and where they were on the shelves and helped me put together a selection of gifts for the bridal shower. She was pleasant and amazing to deal with.
