The worst ever!

published

Have used all sorts of thermometers from manual to basic digital and beyond - from the most simple to use to the most complex - for 40 years. This did not work once. Not one reading. Just useless beeps. This should not be on sale anywhere.

Purchased in August 2021 at Chemist Warehouse for $60.

Useless

published

The original battery died after two uses despite registering that the thermometer was off. Then the replacement battery CR2032 - the correct one - wouldn't lock in. And now it is useless.

Purchased in September 2021 at Chemist Warehouse for $60.

What a joke!!! Don't ever buy this!!

published

When you need it most when the kids are sick this stuffed us around so much with low on display and totally inaccurate reading. Worked good for the first 2 months. Returned it and got exchanged for another and same thing 3 months later. Wish I could give it 0 stars for the headache created.

Purchased at Chemist Warehouse for $60.

Piece of junk

Very inaccurate and omron made it difficult to return. As others have said it should be pulled from the market. Chemist warehouse had to go to a lot of trouble to authorise a refund

Should not be on the market

published

This is the most inaccurate reading for a thermometer I have ever used. Always reads no fever in the 35 range when there is a high fever. Can not be trusted and should not be sold. Useless. Waste of money. Don't use it.

Purchased in February 2022 for $80.

Worst thermometer ever!

published

It’s never made an accurate reading and so unsafe if you have little ones. Everytime my child has had a fever, this thermometer shows readings in the 35 range. After a few goes, the beep functionality stopped. Just rubbish. Wish I read reviews befor buying but who would think that you would need to with a thermometer- it has one job to do....take the right temperature! I changed batteries, bought new ear replacements. Just rubbish!

Purchased in March 2020 for $80.

Purchased 4 weeks ago and it's not accurate with temperatures, I even changed the battery and it didn't help, my son had a fever of 38.5° and ended up in hospital and this thermometer kept reading 35.5°
Do not waste your money on this crap you can pick up way better thermometers for a quarter of the price

Good while it lasted

published

The first couple of times we didn't have a problem with it. Recently, my son's body has been warm so I check his temp and it came up as 36c and at times lower. Yesterday we check his temp again before leaving to the doc and it was reading 36.9 and when the doc check (less than 5 mins) the doctor's thermometer was reading 39.9.. so all this time my son's was having high temperature but the thermometer wasn't reading it well.. please do yourself a favour and don't buy this brand.

Terribly inaccurate

published

We bought this thermometer a couple of years ago for our baby. Ever since it has never given an accurate reading for our baby, toddler or adults. Reading is consistently low (35 degrees) and never the same. The product was expensive and in my opinion not worth the money. If I'd kept the receipt I would have exchanged it when I had a chance.

Purchased at Chemist Warehouse.

Should be zero stars.

published

If I could give this zero stars I would. Surely this is dangerous? This thermometer never gives accurate readings and range from below 35 degree to fever status in several checks. I've followed the instructions closely but never get the same reading twice and always within 1.5 - 2 degrees difference. Total dud!
