Unprofessional
Used Optima for window cleaning. There was a miscommunication, and one of our windows was left unwashed. All my emails about this were ignored, which is unprofessional obviously. The whole thing is very silly as it left us a bit bummed and them without a future returning customer.
The did do a good job with the windows they did wash though.

Oven and Rangehood
Used Vik more than once for oven and Rangehood cleans. The oven looks like new. He always cleans up after he has finished. Professional service from start to finish.

Poor quality
Disappointed that I had to ask more than once for the cleaners to return as jobs were not done properly.
Did not feel like I got the Bond Clean I paid for.
Would not refer to others.
Wanted to charge me extra for Toilet when they had been informed that it was 2 bath 4 bed

Vik did an exceptional job!
Vik was fantastic from start to finish. He let me know what his arrival time would be which is great as I am often away from my desk. He discussed how he would proceed with the job so I had an understanding of the process. The end result was our two BBQ's were like new - even our residents at Somerset Indooroopilly Retirement Village commented on his excellent job. The surrounding area was also spotless. I will be using Optima again and will be asking for Vik for our regular cleans. Many thanks Vik!

Sparkling Windows

Geoff was competent/efficient, understanding, and helpful
Geoff arrived ahead of booked time after I suggested quite late that optima can come earlier as they wish. Geoff gave an excellent and fast service: thank you. He had to deal with a very difficult landlord who was present at the time: thank you. End result was a top quality service: Both I and the landlord were pleased with the result. Geoff went to extra effort to remove some difficult stains. An efficient, helpful, and easy transaction. Thank you.

Optima went the extra mile for my end of lease clean. The team kept me informed at all times of expected eta, did an amazing job on the house and made an extra effort to fit in a last minute carpet clean. Would strongly reccomend.

Accurate Rating = Minus 10!! Avoid At All Cost
Do not use this company!! The experience we had with this company and their contracted cleaning crew was THE WORST consumer experience I have ever encountered. TLDR; head office will ignore you, [Name Removed] will lie to you and you will lose money if you book with this company.
We booked our end of lease clean for a Wednesday at 9am. We arrived at this time and waited for the cleaners. At 9:15am we received a call from the boss, [Name Removed], advising that the cleaners were still at another job and would not arrive until 10am. We agreed to...
Read more wait, however 10am arrived and still no one arrived. We called [Name Removed] back who advised it would be another 40 minutes. We could not wait this long and told [Name Removed] he needed to come pick up the keys. We showed him how to access the apartment and he assured us that the clean would be complete by the end of the day. On Wednesday afternoon we contacted [Name Removed] who told us that the clean was in progress and he would let us know when it was finished. We did not hear from [Name Removed] for the rest of the day. On Thursday morning we rang [Name Removed] who informed us that the clean had not actually been started because the cleaners attended the property and could not get in. Completely confused by this we reminded [Name Removed] that we had shown him where the apartment was and this could have all been prevented with a 2 minute phone call to us. [Name Removed] then assured us that the clean would be complete on this day, already a day behind when it was due to be complete. At this point we contacted the Optima head office in Sydney to report these events. We were advised that they would contact [Name Removed] and return our call with an update. We never received a call back. We messaged [Name Removed] throughout the day requesting updates. At 6pm he sent a message saying the clean was complete and the carpet cleaning was left. We then planned to attend the apartment on Friday morning to check the clean and return the keys. I walked in to the apartment at 7am on Friday morning and it was TRASH!! It looked worse then when we left it, with wet toilet paper on the floors, the oven trays pulled out and sprawled on the benches and not a single thing had been cleaned. Furious, I called [Name Removed] and Optima head office until I got a response. Head office assured me that they would resolve this, I specifically requested a call back, highlighting that not once has a staff member contacted me back. I NEVER heard from a head office person again. In fact when I called back an hour later, they asked my name and clearly knew who it was, telling me someone would call be back, to which no one ever did. I eventually got on to [Name Removed] who pretended to be shocked that the apartment was a mess. [Name Removed] told me he would meet me at the apartment within an hour. After 1.5 hours I had not heard from [Name Removed], now 9:30am. [Name Removed] calls me and tells me that he has picked up the keys from the cleaning team from yesterday and told them not to return to their job and informed me another team would arrive within the hour. At 11am a team of 2 arrived, however I watched as one of the females walked straight to the apartment entrance without my guidance. She then confirmed what I suspected, she was here yesterday and started the clean. I asked her what happened and she advised that [Name Removed] had contacted her and told her to leave my apartment immediately and go to another job. [Name Removed] arrived 30 minutes later where I confronted him about the web of lies he had spun over the last THREE DAYS of trying to get this apartment clean. [Name Removed] admitted that he had lied, that the women in cleaning the apartment was his fiance and that he did not know how to be honest with me. He attempted to blame the company for everything, taking no responsibility for his blatant lies. I remained at the apartment until 4pm as I did not trust that they would actually complete it. The clean itself was not great, not a single wall was wiped despite 3 spots per wall being listed as inclusions ([Name Removed] tried to fight me on this but I read the quote and T&Cs), the in-built cupboards were not wiped or cleaned and the carpet cleaner was terrible quality. Following the final inspection the following Monday, the realtor ultimately requested a re-clean and as bond back guarantee and returning to the job was apart of what we paid for we asked that they return, both [Name Removed] and head office ignored my attempts to book this in and it was never complete. Over the phone, [Name Removed] attempted to blame the company for owing him thousands of dollars and asked me, the customer, to call head office and try to sort it out for him. This was by far the most upsetting, awful and hair pulling experience I have ever encountered and if I can prevent one person from going through the same thing I will. Not everyone will have the ability or knowledge to ensure a job is done, albeit poorly, and it's disgusting to think of how many people this company has taken advantage of. EDIT: one hour after this review went live optima made multiple calls to me and my partner and sent follow up messages. They tried to apologise and say the cleaner was let go, however did not take any responsibility for their role in the lack of communication or problem solving. They then offered us $200 to remove our negative review. We turned this down as, like I mentioned above, I don’t want this to happen to anyone else and cannot be bribed by a company who does not care for their customers.- Job Satisfaction
