What I like: 1. Easy to assemble once you get few tricks such has turning the auger. If it is not easy then check you are using the dots of reference then don't force it and turn around the piece to find the connection.
2. Easy to feed the machine. Careful to not over feed or it clogs. You still need to cut Kale, Celery and fibrous veggies alike in small piece to avoid clogging the machine. Alternate with the various components.
3. Easy to disassemble, although the auger can be hard to take off.
4. Easy to clean.
5. The pulp is quite dry. S...Read more

What a ripper!
I did all the research before buying and am so happy I did. Such an awesome machine. We juice all the time. You don't even have to cut fruit and vegetables up, as long as they fit in the shoot you're sweet. Save yourself the time and hassle and spend the money up front to get a decent product. I would definitely recommend a slow cold press juicer over a centrifrugal juicer any day of the week!

It's been a Love/Hate relationship with my juicer but the Love is winning out!!
Some time ago I bought a Froothie Optimum juicer and it's proved itself to be an excellent product, in use most days of the week. Urged on by our son who is a great fan of slow juicing, we decided to investigate slow juicers and came to the conclusion that the Froothie was the best buy in terms of efficiency and warranty and of course we knew the company to be reliable and ready to answer any questions. Thanks to Katie the order was dispatched without delay and it was with some excitement that we read the instructions and prepared for the initi...Read more
al juicing adventure. Oh no, clearly we mis-read some of the instructions but also found that the description of each filter was not readily understood. After that hiccup we rang Froothie and found out where we'd gone astray. From then on it was pretty easy to both assemble and disassemble the entire machine. My only real criticism initially, was that I found it to be a bit of a horror to clean and I ended up with beetroot juice and pulp over me, the bench, the adjacent wall - yep, everywhere. To begin with, I also found that the 600 didn't love large/older beetroot (maybe too stringy??) so I've been buying smaller size beets and the problem has gone away. I learned the hard way that people who suggested cutting the stems off vegetables such as kale and the like were absolutely correct. However, many days of using the 600 has brought about a better outcome overall, as I've gained more experience with what it will and won't do (and there doesn't seem to be much it won't deal with) BUT the main thing I've learned is an easy way to clean the machine. I take all the moveable parts outside and hose them off with a fairly strong stream of water. The bonuses are two. It's easy and quick to clean, (especially the fine filters; the hose works much better than the supplied brush) and the birds adore the leftovers that appear, as if by magic, on the grass. It might not be the most obvious cleaning option but it definitely works. I'm still on the 30 day trial but so far things are going well and I can't see that we won't be giving the 600 a permanent home in our kitchen.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great cold press juicer
I juice a wide variety of fruit and veges on a regular basis. This is a fantastic juicer. Easy to use, can juice whole fruit and vege with little if no cutting required and is quiet and reliable, have had not one problem since I bought it 6 months ago.

Still performing! = robust, great juice yield, efficient disassemble and clean!
We've tried numerous fruit and veg combinations and the machine is very robust in all situations. Produces a great juice yield and a great consistently dry pulp which we found is great to use in cooking vegie burgers. Being a slow juicer, its quieter and can run for longer without fear of burning out the motor, great for our large family. Love the twist/snap/lock-in assemble and disassemble mechanism for efficient cleaning.

Mr
Hi, I brought my Optimum 600 Juicer start of year, I was glad I did the research over the Bullet Juicers, best part is watching peoples reactions when juicing pineapple skin and all. Usually jaw drops after seeing how much juice the skin holds. Having juices in the mornings my appetite is less during the day finding easier cut back on heavier food i.e bread & meat. Once we figured how to open the juicer after 3 tries, cleaning is a breeze with the tooth brush. The only hassle is the block in the chute makes having to cut the apples, etc. smaller, wish block could be taken out for bigger proportions.

Great Service
I have had amazing service with Froothie! And I would really reccomend buying from this company! We love to juice nearly every day and much prefere a slow juicer over the fast juicer for the quality and quanity of juice that it makes. We juice nearly any fruit and vege and use our vege garden which makes it affordable to use lots of greens! Best thing you can do for your health is own a good juicer you will use often :)

Excellent quality product
I looked across many slow juicers to make my decision - they are expensive and there are many options. The Optimum has proven excellent. The juice is fantastic, its extracts more juice and build quality is top notch. What convinced me to take the plunge on this juicer was the obvious support offered by Froothie. They back up their products and that was the deal maker.

brilliant juicer
this optimum 600 juicer is brilliant - i love it - easy to use, set up & take apart. Easy to clean and juices very well. It is the only juicer I have owned, but like the Optimum Blenders, I love it. The worms in our wormfarm love the pulp. haven't tried wheatgrass yet, but plan to - does lots of other greens really well so shouldn't think it will be a problem with that as well. I would not hesitate to get another product from these guys. The service was great as well.

Great product and excellent customer service!
I was looking for a juicer to replace a centrifugal style which had seen better days when I found the Froothie web site. I had read about cold press juicers on sites like Kris Carr's Crazy Sexy Juicing, so at the special price at the time I decided to purchase the Optimum 600. It was a couple of hundred dollars more than a centrifugal juicer, but I'm glad I spent the extra. There was a slight fault after a couple of uses and no questions asked from Froothie Support team, a new juicer was on it's way. We use it several times a week to juice frui...Read more
t and vegies as we drink juice daily. It's juice quality is fantastic. I like the fact that you have some pulp in the juices for the fibre content. It's certainly not off-putting. Vegies like celery and fennel with long stringy fibre are a little problematic as the fibres do restrict the waste exit shute, but so long as they are last through it's not too much inconvenience. They just need to be manually removed. The waste is great compost too.The rest of the cleaning is straight forward and quick. Our Optimum 600 is a great product with excellent support!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Very Good.
The Optimum 600 is a great juicer. You can tell it's getting most of the juice as it leaves dry pulp. It’s easy to use. Cleaning is easy if done shortly after use. (Once its dried it’s a lot more annoying to clean).
Expensive but if you use often enough you will find it well worth the purchase.

A Juicer worth every cent and more
"Beyond all expectations - Fast - Smooth - powerful - after a tedious search I am now very happy and wouldn't choose any other juicer; my industrial juicer is no match. Well, very well done with your superb product.”
If anyone is finding it hard looking and deciding for a machine that's a real pleasure to use - then I can confidently say that so far as I am concerned you don't even have to worry about wasting time doing the search this one does it at an affordable price in comparison to its rivals.

A game changer for those who are seeking optimum health, nutrition, wellbeing, fasting, disease elim
I have had a vitamix and a food blender, however I resisted from purchasing a slow juicer due to the price point. Now I can't live without it. I have been fasting for a deeper cleanse, and this machine really helped me get through it. Naturally, as a slow juicer it is going to take longer, but the juice keeps for a Very very long time and it is still crisp if you don't consume it within 24/48 hours. I have taken many cold pressed juices with me when I am traveling, stored in an eski and off I go. It has kept for 72 hours with no problems if refrigerated well. A no brainer for those who already have all the other appliances, it will fit in your kitchen and add value to your health.

Sceptic Humbled
I was sceptical of yet another Juicer. Fortunately I learned long ago to listen to my wife. We purchased the Optimum 600 at Christmas time and WOW what a machine! Who thought you could get so much juice from so few pieces of fruit or veggies. It is simple to use, simple to clean and the best part of all is our children have been awakened to the benefits of PURE fresh juices all varieties. Thank you Optimum - another great Australian Product!

Almost 5 stars!
Good juicer. The big mouth is very handy for slightly bigger fruits and vegetables. Relatively easy to take apart to clean. The only down side is there is a little bit of pulp in the juice, which I had to drain using a drainer. Otherwise, I would give it a 5.

Super Juicer!
While I was searching in internet for a slow juicer, I found Optimum brand and based on the positive review, I placed an order for Optimum 500 with Froothie. But to my pleasant surprise, I was given an upgrade offer for Optimum 600 for a discounted price which I grabbed with no hesitation. It was delivered overnight and I am using it since three weeks. My family and I are very pleased with its performance and great output - a tasty and healthy juice! I find the product design and quality superior and the accessories are very useful. It is indeed one of our best buys and extremely happy with this product. I would strongly recommend that every family should have one such juicer.

Excellent Choice Of Juicer, Really Happy With Purchase.
I like most did a lot of research for a good juicer. Reading these reviews nearly seemed like it was to our old to be true. Plus the slow juicing is supposed to retain more nutrients as it doesn't heat up. It is a fab juicer. Easy to use, relatively simple to clean. I just rinse it out and give it a quick scrub afterwards (make sure you get all the bits t of the spout where the silicon piece is use the end of the brush works a treat). The reverse feature is great for making sure you get all the pulpy bits of fruit/veggies down and it is easy to put together, as long as the arrows and red dots line up it just clicks into place. Never have I loved Beetroot so much!!

Great Product!
Have had this machine for a month now and am using it a few times a week! Did a fair amount of research. Had borrowed a friend's regular juicer before investing and the difference in the amount of pulp and quantity of juice is amazing! There is hardly any pulp with this juicer comparatively and if the pulp is still wet, I just put it through again and get more juice out of it!!! With the wide mouth, don't have to cut the fruit and veg up as much which is great. Put the whole lemon or apple in so easy. Just remember to wash straight away so it is an easy rinse! Only bug I have is the little cleaning hook/brush that came with it snapped in two but am hoping to get a replacement! Very happy!

Awesome, love it
I reviewed a lot of juicers before choosing the optimum 600 and I'm extremely happy with my choice. It's amazingly powerful, I roughly chop up items like carrots and beets and they go through the juicer with total ease. I use it most days of the week and am feeling the best I have in a long time and I put it down to all the cold press juices I can make.
Cleaning the juicer is very simple, providing you don't leave it too long and allow food items to dry.
This juicer is a great product and I'm very happy with it, and my optimum blender

Great results overall
I bought my juicer about a year ago, and unfortunately I don't use it as often as I should. It is absolutely fantastic in that I don't have to really cut the fruit and veggies up. My kids love feeding the apples through the wide mouth shoot. I like the balance between the pulpiness and smoothness of the juice. The only thing that prevents me from using it more often is that it is very clunky to assemble and not dishwasher compatible, so it does take a while to clean, especially the valves where the pulp collects. I did a lot of research before I bought mine, and weighed up the pros (easy to feed fruit through) and cons (not dishwasher compatible) and still bought it.

Questions & Answers
Graceasked
Have had this juicer for a couple of months now, and it was producing beautifully smooth juice up until a week ago. It now comes out quite textured and pulpy. I have not made any changes in my juicing routine and use the same fruits and vegetables everyday. Can this be solved?

Hello do you have a juicer for wheatgrass?
1 answer
Athena Solutions Pty LtdOptimum Appliances
Hello The Woz,
definitely we do :)
Where the H3000 2nd Gen has the advantages it:
1. It has the wider chute so you can juice bigger fruits without cutting (Like whole apples)
2. It has the vacuum function which basically means you can store your fresh juice and it'll keep fresh for longer. (It's quite a noticeable difference actually)
You can see a bit more about vacuum sealing the juice in our article here about the VAC2 Blender. It also uses vacuum sealing for the juices and smoothies:
https://smarterfitter.com/froothie-optimum-vac2-air-vacuum-blender-review/
3. It has a built-in warming function for things like baby food.
4. It also has pulp control, so you can decide how you like your juice :)
Here are some videos where you can see the H3000 2nd Gen in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cTb7_4ZZ7dE&list=PL1dicojIF63peEIOIbhzdY0UmijHkcwiN
Where the 600M wins in:
1. It's more compact, so easier to have on your kitchen bench
2. It's better for juicing leafy greens and celery
So it really depends on what you're looking to use it for :)
I hope this helps!
3. The 600M actually yields more juice, about 10%-20% more than the major brands on the market, including centrifugal.
Here is the 600M in action: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL1dicojIF63p2u7kSit4yM-LOo_e_VJti
It's also a few $ cheaper!
Here is a detailed overview about the specifications:
600M: 40-45 rpm, 200 watts, 3.8 x 4.8cm chute size, 34 x 17 x 36.5 cm (LxHxW), weight: 3,56kg
600Pro: 70 rpm, 300 watts, 7.6cm chute size, 40cm x 40cm x 21cm (HxLxW), weight: 3.5kg
No matter which juicer you choose they are both amazing juicers :)
And don’t forget we offer an unconditional 30-day money-back-guarantee
I hope this helps :) If there's anything else I can help out with please let me know!
