One of the Best Slow Juicers
Before purchasing a slow juicer I did a lot of research and finally settled on the Optimum 600 Wide mouth slow juicer. Overall it is the best price/performance wide mouth slow juicer available at the moment. I used a centrifugal juicer prior to this purchase.
The Good Guys have a similar product with a smaller motor and less warranty from a brand that I was not familiar with. Retro have a model almost exactly the same and provide an additional filter/strainer that you can put on the top of the output juice collector (jug). This is somethi...Read more
ng that the Optimum 600 is missing. An Additional filter/straining is especially useful with high pulp fruit or fruit with a lot of seeds (strawberries and raspberries). You may want to strain the output juice to remove all pulp for an even smoother juice drink. The Retro model is significantly dearer, so the Optimum is better on price. After using it every day since purchase I found It is relatively easy to clean and provides significantly better juice output than centrifugal juicers and most other slow juicers.1 comment

Great slow juicer
I had previously use a centrifugal juicer but when it died I was determined to buy a slow juicer for the health benefits of being able to better juice greens. I did my research and settled on the optimum 600 and bought it on line from Froothie. It works perfectly, is easy to clean and is great value when compared to other slow juicers of similar quality. I love it.

Best juicer ever
Amazing juicer. I got it a few months ago and never looked back. It's very simple to use, even simpler to clean. Worth every single cent. I just started making juices every single day. Love it. The best thing about it is that you can chuck in just about any type of fruits or veggies and get whole family to enjoy best fresh juice without even questioning what's inside. One of the best products I've ever bought.

Best Juicer ever
Purchased the optimum 600 about 2 months and it really is the best cold press juicer out there. Everything as advertised and amazed at how easily it cleans. Don't even get me started on how much juice this product produces. Every cup of juice i make now is like heaven. Thank you Froothie.

If only I had bought this years ago.
My most used appliance. Have made everything, no complaints whatsoever. My life now revolves around my Opti. I had to purchase a small freezer as I ran out of room in my main one storing all the icecream that I make in bulk. Thanks Froothie I'm one very satisfied customer.

Great value for price!
I am an avid juice maker, back at home (USA) I own a Norwalk Juice press which is the number one juicer when it comes to cold-press juice but it is also very expensive. When I moved to Australia I didn't want to move a 60 lb machine here since I wasn't sure how long I'd be here. I originally got a centrifugal juicer but wasn't really satisfied with it so when I looked for a cold-press juicer I came across the Optimum 600. I absolutely love it, it is quiet, you have a heap less pulp and I did a flavor test between my centrifugal and cold press and the taste difference is significant! (Cold-press, much better). Frothier has been helpful and my juicer arrived quickly.

Best juicer I have used
I've had centrifugal juicers and a small mouth slow juicer, but this is the best of the lot. No prep, just drop it in. Less of a pest to clean (let's face all juicers are painful to clean!), it has just 5 parts that come apart and rinse fairly easily.

Great juicer, even better support.
Purchased this juicer month ago after having a high speed juicer. This gets far more out of the fruit the pulp is drier but still great for burgers or cakes. Had small crack in one of the parts called Froothie and no questions asked very quickly replacement arrived by courier.

Highly Recommend Froothie
Having read all the benefits of juicing but only had experienced the cumbersome centrifuge juicer, I decided to take the step and buy a really good juicer. I didn’t expect to find this juicer at such a reasonable price. I have since replaced my breakfast and sometimes dinner with a juice. My husband mocked me at first and is now lining up each morning for a glass and a half. I have regained control of my weight which no matter what I did before, (including being paleo for 3 years) would not shift. Our family all have various autoimmune diseases...Read more

We love it. Kind Regards Theodora1 comment

Disappointed
Juicer does create relatively similar amount of foam to my previous Moulinex Juicer. I expected reasonably amount of juice extracted from Green Veg and I followed instructions to put veg to the last after removing the fibres(?). However, I had to add extra carrots to get some green juice to flow out.
Diligently, I followed instructions to remove Compression Silicon when washing the machine. Just spoken to Customer Service [name removed] (great after hours CService). I was told that I removed the wrong Compression Silicon and I was not sup...Read more
posed to remove it fully. 1. My normal common sense causes me to think that I never remove any piece of accessory that is screwed. 2. My understanding of words is that "remove" means 'remove' ie. fully. The piece to 'remove' is supposedly a) the screwed small piece and not the middle piece; and b) to open out the piece slightly to wash but NOT "remove"1 comment

Love this product
Having never been a great fan of fruit juice, I've been totally converted by using the Optimum 600. My favourite morning juice over the past month has been beetroot, carrot, apple, orange and pineapple. The juicer handles this mixture without a glitch with the pulp coming out very dry and the juice is absolutely delicious and full of flavour. The juicer is quiet so there is no waking up anyone early in the morning. Recommend it highly.

a fabulous machine
I live in France and I was looking for an electric juicer. But there are so many that it was hard to choose. I read lots of comparisons and lots of people's advice. And finally I discovered THE optimum 600 with its large mouth. It only took 3 days to get it and it is beautiful and convenient. Today I have already drunk 3 pints of juice . It works very well and it looks powerful. Thank you Froothie!

Had a lot of juicers in the past but this one tops them all!
Juicing is something I love to do for my health so when I purchased the Optimum 600 I was most pleased at how simple and easy it is to use. I was really surprised at how much juice I got from it also. I really feel you get more bang for your buck with this blender and you wont regret adding this beauty into your life.

It's another winner
I didn't get on with this juicer and I wanted to send it back. After speaking to the amazing customer support team at Froothie who gave me some good advice. I realised the teething issues were on my part and not the juicer. I've always used a centrifugal juicer which are a lot faster. I was pushing the produce in too quickly and causing it to back up. After a few days I soon got used to it and loved it. My favourite thing to juice is berries as my old juicer just splattered them all over the lid. The pulp from carrots and parsnips is so dry it'...Read more
s like sawdust. You do get a little pulp in the juice which you get with most slow juicers but I don't mind that. My husband and son love the juice from this juicer it's a winner in our house. Nobody likes cleaning juicers it's the worst part of juicing. I must say I find this so much easier to clean than my old juicer. The brush it comes with is very well designed to get in the smallest of places. The Optimum 400 was voted the no 1 juicer and I'm sure the Optimum 600 will be voted no 1 too.Similar opinion? Absolutely worth it
My old juicer would create more juice than pulp and I would have to keep juicing the pulp to get every drop, but this wasn't the case with the 600 because I've had more juice than pulp. P.S. I juice kale, spinach leaves, papaya (including the stringy parts), and apples, a lot and this machine has wowed me, for sure.

New revolution in juicing fruits & veggie
Pros:
The large inlets is the big plus I choose for this juicer.
Cold press / slow juicer gives you more juice than the traditional type of juicer.
Not noisy as any other juicer during the operation.
Unit is sturdy and doesn't feels like a cheap plastic model.
Cons:
Price is expensive for a juicer but considering the health benefits it is justified
Few components needs to be cleaned after the juicing is done.

The BEST Cold Pressed Juicer on the Market!
I purchased the Optimum 600 after I had already been juicing for more than a year, using an alternate high end brand Cold Pressed Juicer. I was having trouble with all the cutting and chopping required with the juicer I had, and was starting to lose my enthusiasm to juice. I was lucky enough to stumble across an add on Facebook, which led me to this amazing new machine.
Wow... Wow... Wow... I love it! The simplicity of juicing now is incredible, and I also LOVE watching the whole process, via the clear bowl and chute. Watching all your ...Read more
fruit and vegetable being crushed and squeezing out that pure and wonderful juice is fabulous. You just can't wait to drink it. I would love to be able to give one of these amazing machines to my daughter, who has some health challenges, as I honestly believe that juicing can change our health in a more effective way than any other option. I definitely would recommend this machine to those who are looking to purchase a quality juicer for their home.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Questions & Answers
Graceasked
Have had this juicer for a couple of months now, and it was producing beautifully smooth juice up until a week ago. It now comes out quite textured and pulpy. I have not made any changes in my juicing routine and use the same fruits and vegetables everyday. Can this be solved?
1 answer
Sorry can't help you Grace, my optimum juicer stopped going after 20 minutes of juicing my vegetables, & in-between was cleaned . I sent back my juicer & got a refund.
The Wozasked
Hello do you have a juicer for wheatgrass?
1 answer
Athena Solutions Pty LtdOptimum Appliances
Hello The Woz,
definitely we do :)
Where the H3000 2nd Gen has the advantages it:
1. It has the wider chute so you can juice bigger fruits without cutting (Like whole apples)
2. It has the vacuum function which basically means you can store your fresh juice and it'll keep fresh for longer. (It's quite a noticeable difference actually)
You can see a bit more about vacuum sealing the juice in our article here about the VAC2 Blender. It also uses vacuum sealing for the juices and smoothies:
https://smarterfitter.com/froothie-optimum-vac2-air-vacuum-blender-review/
3. It has a built-in warming function for things like baby food.
4. It also has pulp control, so you can decide how you like your juice :)
Here are some videos where you can see the H3000 2nd Gen in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cTb7_4ZZ7dE&list=PL1dicojIF63peEIOIbhzdY0UmijHkcwiN
Where the 600M wins in:
1. It's more compact, so easier to have on your kitchen bench
2. It's better for juicing leafy greens and celery
So it really depends on what you're looking to use it for :)
I hope this helps!
3. The 600M actually yields more juice, about 10%-20% more than the major brands on the market, including centrifugal.
Here is the 600M in action: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL1dicojIF63p2u7kSit4yM-LOo_e_VJti
It's also a few $ cheaper!
Here is a detailed overview about the specifications:
600M: 40-45 rpm, 200 watts, 3.8 x 4.8cm chute size, 34 x 17 x 36.5 cm (LxHxW), weight: 3,56kg
600Pro: 70 rpm, 300 watts, 7.6cm chute size, 40cm x 40cm x 21cm (HxLxW), weight: 3.5kg
No matter which juicer you choose they are both amazing juicers :)
And don’t forget we offer an unconditional 30-day money-back-guarantee
I hope this helps :) If there's anything else I can help out with please let me know!
