Cant hear
I wish that I had read these reviews before buying this product. I have no problem with my hearing but the voice on the other end is so faint that I have to ask people to repeat themselves. Am now have to buy a new product.
Also, this is silly having to write a minimum of fifty words. What is the use of that?

Useless. Can't hear the other person.
This is the worst phone I have ever owned. With the volume at the maximum level, I can only hear the person on the other end very faintly (I do not have any hearing issues). Makes it absolutely useless for dialling in to a teleconference. I have to use it on speaker all the time but I am told that this makes it hard to hear me. Even in speaker mode, I have to hold the phone to my ear and mouth the whole time so I can hear which means for a long phone conversation I can't actually use it as a speaker phone, and there is no earphone/headset jack....
Read more I do not find the phone menus intuitive to use at all - I can't believe how long it took to set up. So many things do not work as you would expect, such as wallpapers. I am going to have to try to return it, as it isn't capable of performing its' primary function. How did this product even get released with such a glaring inadequacy?- Date Purchased

Can't hear and not user friendly.
This cordless phone with answering system came highly recommended by Which ? (UK consumer magazine) so I bought one based on that. However, many later reviews by consumers in the UK are negative, and unfortunately I did not see those before I bought one.
1 - It's hard to hear the person on the other end of the line, it's quite faint even with the volume turned up to maximum (level 4) NB: I do not have any hearing deficit.
2 - The menu is not straight forward, it's long winded to access any function.
3 - When a message is left on the answer...

Very user friendly
Bought this through Dick Smith online. Arrived promptly. Was a bit worried having read a bad review (after I had already purchased it) about the sound quality but I am extremely happy with the product. The sound quality is fine but it isn't loud so if you are hard of hearing I wouldn't recommend it. However for features and ease of use it's great. You can basically work it all out intuitively. Nice design, good selection of ring tones and an easy to read screen. Haven't used it as a baby monitor so can't comment on that.

Can't hear the other person talk even with talk volume at max.
Gave it to my 2 year old as toy phone now.
