Quality was very good.
I've purchased this back early last year. Very user-friendly and easy to use. The controls were too complicated and had a nice simplistic look to it. Love the dial to add the time (unlike the button with my old microwave). Very compact and great quality for the price I've paid.

Standard and great value
The microwave seems safe and sturdy to use. It doesn't produce too much noise so is good for those late night snacks. It is a very standard size and has all the options that you expect including power options (such as for defrosting). The plate is sturdy and the interior is easy to clean.

Very good.
In fairness, I've been a fan of the inverter range since it was introduced, as I find it gives a more even cooking. The Inverter system is the best if you are using those poached egg or bacon microwave trays (otherwise they cook unevenly.)
They are easy to operate and not too noisy.
That being said, I don't think they are as sturdy as they used to be, but still not fragile.

Great!
This microwave is exactly what I was looking to buy. It is a good size and well built. It is not loud at all and the door opens evenly. The food is warmed evenly and does not burn on sides or super heat some sections, while others are still uncooked.

Love it
Our old micro wave died a slow death. So we had a little time to research which microwave we wanted and how much we could actually afford. I am quite happy with our choice. It works just fine. Is quiet. Has all the features you could want in a microwave. Very happy with it!

little beauty
Only use microwave for heating and defrosting. Following the dlrection in the manual makes using the settings easy to use.. microwave is easy to clean just a wipe down with a warm cloth after use is that is needed. Of all the microwaves I have had over the years, this is the quiestest. One of my best buys.

nice!
Seems to cook things faster and more evenly than previous models I've owned. Relatively quiet and user-friendly with cool pop-out rotary timer dial. Right now, already almost one year gone and it still going very well,- never had any problem, works well, very fast heating, no overcooked meals, modern design, not noisy.

Hopefully gonna last longer
We bought this microwave in a beginning of this year, old microwave did not live long. We were a bit pessimistic about new one, price was pretty cheap.
Right now, already almost one year gone and it still going very well,- never had any problem, works well, very fast heating, no overcooked meals, modern design, not noisy, very easy to use even for our kids. So far that microwave much better then our old one. Hopefully gonna last longer and still will be great after one more year.

Quality at a good price
Seems to cook things faster and more evenly than previous models I've owned.
Relatively quiet and user-friendly with cool pop-out rotary timer dial. Only has one series of beeps once food is cooked - which is excellent. Doesn't repeat the beeps!
Only complaint is that there is no quick start. Other models you can just press the start button and it will cook on high for a minute. This one doesn't have that option.

Great product
I loved this microwave I usually have purchased the smaller "cheaper" ones and they always seemed fine but having a fantastic one like this you definitely notice the difference in cook and quality of the product it's also easier to clean ten other brands that I had tried definitely a bit thumbs up from me!

Big but fast
This microwave is bigger than expected, however, it heats my vegetables much faster than my old microwave. Its very easy to clean, its about as loud as most microwaves can be. It looks sleek, just remember when you are cleaning it water based products will leave streak marks on the outside. So I use a multipurpose first on the outside then polish with orange oil

This is great
This machine is larger than I originally thought it would be but apart from squeezing it into a small kitchen I'm so very glad that I'vebought it. In lots of ways it has replaced my old oven - I cant praise it highly enough.
Having the flatbed with no turntable means even full sized baking dishes will fit in it, so you don't need to heat up a large underbench oven to do a roast or a slice.

Basic, but good
This microwave is just what we were wanting, nothing too complicated and easy to use. Just the right size for where we wanted to put it. It looks smart and clean and is of course easy to clean. Works well and has been very reliable. We are very happy with it.

Compact and easy
The microwave is a perfect size to fit into slightly smaller areas and is easy to so is very suitable for children of younger ages. Compared to other microwaves it is considerably quieter and has shown strong power, which is more than i had expected, from the considerable affordable price.

Easy to use for a microwave novice
I've never owned a microwave, but after trying to reduce power bills and reading that a microwave is more energy efficient than the over/stovetop, I decided to get one. I read the reviews here first, then on Choice and decided on this Panasonic due to the reviews and also as it was 950W. It is so easy to use and I am a novice with these things. It comes with a simple instruction book that has recipes. The control panel is easy to understand, so I haven't had to use the book much. I've reheated a lot of things and cooked eggs, and have been ...Read more
really pleased with everything so far. This also has a really easy to clean interior, so a bonus. It sits neatly on top of the fridge and is very quiet. I'd happily recommend this as an easy to use model.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Compact yet powerful - now rusting
I only recently bought this microwave and it is very well made. Compact in size, versatile and very easy to use. Love it ! the kids use it as do we multiple times a day. Extremely satisfied with this purchase. Recommend it to families and even to any person with a small space.
It's a year one and it's now rusting on the outside. We contacted Panasonic and they said they don't cover rust....really how can stainless steel rust ?
Especially when barely used - no chemicals use to clean it

OK, works well.
The microwave is easy to use. Quiet. My husband uses it every day to make porridge for breakfast. And he found it perfect for it. Occasionally I reheat some food. However I have never cooked in it. For our family use is good enough. Nothing to complain about. Four stars for it.

My pet hate is microwaves which keep beeping even after you've opened the door. Does this model do that, or does the beeping stop when you open the door? thanks
4 answers
I don't believe that microwave beeps at all after the initial beeping once finished cooking. The door can stay opened or closed and it won't beep.
@Neil, I'm talking about the initial 5 beeps when it's finished cooking. Some microwaves will beep 5 times, even if you open the door on the first beep - that's my pet hate. If you've opened the door, you're aware that it's finished and you don't need the remaining beeps!
No . From memory the beep stops after the door is opened. I no longer have the microwave as it's been thrown out .

Is this the stainless steel version? If so is the steel 306 or 316?
1 answer
Yes it is. I couldnt tell you whether it is 306 or 316. I would imagine most appliances are made out of 304 due to the disposable world we live in.
I havent had any corrosion issues (live two blocks from beach) and it is easy to clean.
