I tried to whip your lactose cream, i followed the recommendation of chilling the cream, beaters and bowl but after 10 min of beating the cream didn't thicken at all. Any suggestions to make the cream thicken would be appreciated. At this point very unimpressed with this cream.

I had the same problem, it partially thickened but then went runny again after about 10 mins ing he fridge. I ended up having to add gelatin to it. Just Google how much to add - it depends on mls od cream used and whether you use powder or leaves. Hope this helps.

Best off using the coconut cream for whipping, I had that same problem with zymil :'(
Thought I might try 1/2 freezing it next time, see if that'd make it whip ...

You can't whip thickened cream, it's not made for that. Just for pouring. I have known this for years. You need "Whipping Cream".
Starts thin but soon whips up.

I have successfully whipped Zymil cream. Soak two leaves of “leaf gelatins gold grade” in ice cold water for five minutes, take out and squeeze out water, start whipping one carton of Zymil cream, place gelatine in a microwave proof dish and microwave for 30 seconds. It will turn to liquid and add to cream immediately. I found you have to start heating the gelatine to make it work. As a coeliac and lactose intolerant, can now enjoy scones and pavlovas etc without a problem. Gelatine is an animal by product so no good for vegetarians. Robyn, Lake Macquarie, NSW
