Shocking smell & taste

published

Have wasted my money on this for a long time & waited fr a " good batch" but it never came. Even buying it with a long use by date did not eradicate the bad smell & awful taste & causes flatulence & digestive problems.. My husband is partially lactose free & has put up with this milk due to the lack of alternatives & does not tolerate the preservatives in long life milk. We have now trialed A2 milk & immediately had success with eliminating any of the above problems..Pauls you need to get your act together & work on your formula for Zymil.

Is this milk or a chemical substitute?

published

Tried it in tea twice, as I thought the revolting taste had to come from something else. There is no way I will ever go for a third time. Coles had the 2 litre bottle discounted. Never ever again.

Love it!

published

I absolutely love milk and it was difficult to accept that I am now lactose intolerant. After trying several other milk substitutes I have now found Zymil to be the best for me. I honestly can't taste the difference from full lactose milk. I am now quite fond of the Zymil Chocolate milk also and think it's great to have a flavoured milk that is also lactose free. I would like a bit less sugar though as it's pretty high.

What I Imagine Old Paint Tastes Like

published

Seriously, I have no idea what process this "milk" goes through, but it has the most disgusting chemical taste to it. Did whoever come up with this formula ever taste milk in their life?

Dreadful!

published

I usually drink Aldi Lactose Free milk but a couple of local coffeye shops use Zymil. The first time I tried it the sweetness made me feel nauseous - I have never had sugar in coffee or tea - and within an hour or so I was off to the loo with diarrhoea! Stupidly, I admit, I decided to give it another try. Same result. I wouldn't give this to my family or friends

Thickened cream DOES NOT THICKEN

published

This cream is terrible if you want to use on a cake. Was whipping it for 25 minutes and still runny like milk. Would not recommend at all. I think I will just continue to use Bulla which has never been a problem.

I found cotton in 2 of the cartons I purchased

published

Omg, I buy zymil all the time and I almost had a heart attack when I was pouring the milk into my coffee & a huge clump of mass fell into my cup. I was so shocked I quickly went in to dig it out and it was like chunks of cotton wool or dissolved tissue, I opened the other un-opened 2 litre carton and it had the same exact thing in it! What on earth is it? I called the number on the back of the carton and they said they would send a courier to pick up the containers and its been days and ive heard nothing from them & no courier has shown up to pick up the cartons yet! So dissapointed with this service and the lack of concern, I could have fed it to my 2 year old in his cereal!!! I dont know if I should purchase this milk again.

Leaking milk cartons

published

Just letting you know we have been buying Zymil for quite some time but the last 3 1lt cartons have been leaking. First time it happened thought a one off but 2nd & 3rd must be something wrong with your packaging. I will stop buying if this continues. It makes a mess in the fridge.

great milk but often under-supplied and not enough variety

published

great milk, tastes nice, and easy to digest..
i often find the shelf empty on busy days, and there aren't any other brands that offer similar milk ..
we also been forever looking for the small package long life version to take to trips with us.. but its not available.. oddly they make the lite version in small packs but not the regular.. hard to understand why ..

another thing to mention if the developer is reading these.. the packaging in last two years or so is hard to open.. usually bends, wrinkles trying to pop open.. in previous years this was not a problem..

lactose awareness Not always IBS!

We had a lump it was like cotton - only a small bit but gross.... I can only have Zymil/ tried other brands. A bit disappointed as I had visitors over and tried to convince them of how good it is & it happened while they were here.

Going off early

published

I love Zymils milk, i have it in my coffee every morning. This morning when i went to pour it in, the milk was lumpy. The use by is not until the 10th of Jan...thats off 8 days early!!! And this is not the first time this has happened for me. Has there been a change in recipie? Or in production somewhere? Because this in a recent development.

Shall be priced fairly

published

Zymil long life prices vary from $2.86 to $1.50 per litre. If the company could retail at $1.50 per litre why not to kerp the price at $1.50 per litre always. It may be mentioned that ALDI sell the similar lactogen free milk at $0.99 per litre. Amazon is ablut start selling groceries too.

Not so happy with the product

published

Zymil milk I been buying for some time, lately its getting off long before the due date exp 1st Jan.
