Was looking forward to a constructive and informative review of this TV and can only feel sorry for the purchasers as the so called 'The Phillips Australia Team' could only provide lip service. Are they just robots?

Is it true that if I want to connect a DVD player to this tv it would have to be one of the same brand? Like a Philips only player device?

No any DVD or Blu-Ray player with HDMI will work

How can I download Apps onto the TV. I was told when I purchased the TV I could watch STAN but there is no App for Stan and I can not find the Google Play to download apps

Waste of money as you can not download your own apps only watch what is installed. Ensure you check what operating system Phillips is using before you purchase, I need to buy a setbox so I can now have access to all my favourite apps. DO NOT BUY PHILLIPS, other TV's out their cheaper and have access to all apps

Can I download Stan and SBS onto this tv? I can see an app library but the library is terrible. I’ve tried calling customer service.....25 minutes and counting in the queue.

Hi, after two phone calls and being on hold for an hour and 20 minutes I finally got to speak to someone. The TV does not have Stan nor does it have a library where you can download apps. It does not come with any of the standard apps you would expect of a product board in Australia. It also has an outdated web browser so you cannot watch Stan or other services through it. This television is terrible. Is outdated and does not have any of the features you expect of a smart TV

Customer service was also meant to get back to me about what screen mirroring app can be used on Apple iPhone so that I can at least Mirror apps onto the TV. They never got back to me. Really poor customer service

Want to record from TV from my empty, brand new 32GB stick. When I formatted it says you need at least 4GB but when I pressed the red record key to try, response was not enough memory??

Is this TV definitely Wi-Fi for Netflix and YouTube? Or do you have to connect via cable.

It has pre-installed apps of YouTube and Netflix but not sure they will work after connecting through coaxle cable.
