Disappointment
I am not very happy at all with what happened in the store at DFO Westcourt Cairns.05/02/2015 Last Monday29/01/2015 I brought 2 matts, which I was under the impression they were bath mats, when I put them onto the floor in the bathroom they started to curl up at the ends. So I washed them and they were worse. I took them back to the shop, the lady behind the counter did not give a dam.She did ask me if I wanted another pair but I didn't want the same thing to happen, I did not keep my reciept but I have it on my bank statement, She then said t

I went and tried to find the instructions and there was nothing on the label to say anything. The code on these are 930000041548. When I went back into the store to let the lady(she would not tell me her name) she just said email the company then. It may only be $16.00 but that is not the point. I have brought things there before and have had nothing go wrong. ThankyouLove their percale sheets
I bought a set of sheets commercially and love the soft smooth feel of the percale sheets. So much so that I've sought out the website to buy more. I can't comment on the service, but the feel of these sheets is unlike anything I've had before.
Bamboo Sheets
Bought QS bamboo sheets from DFO in Brisbane I am so disappointed in the quality. They crease really badly & stay creased, even a light ironing doesn't make much difference. I must admit I was expecting them to be far superior to the cotton sheets I usually buy but they are really a lot worse, Will not be buying this brand again ( PureZone) they are only good for - well not as bed linen anyway.
crease really badly & stay creased
Poor quality manchester and service
In December 2013, I purchased two Quilt Cover sets and one set of bed linen online from Pure Zone. All of the bedding is very thin, flimsy and of poor quality, despite claims of high thread counts. In addition the bed linen set I received was not the one I ordered, (their error not mine) and they refused to exchange it. I had purchased bedding from Pure Zone several years ago and it was terrific, so I was incredibly disappointed to receive really substandard manchester. I will never shop there again and advise others to stay away too
Poor quality linen, poor customer service.

Cotton -jersey sheets and quilt covers
I purchased pure cotton jersey sheets and quilt cover at the beginning of Winter. Within 2 months they had pilled and felt rough and scratchy against the skin. I have bought cotton jersey bedding over the last 15 years from other brands and have had them last for 5-10 years and they have remained soft and resisted pilling.
I sent Pure Zone an email letting them know how unhappy I was several months ago and have not received a response.
I would not recommend the Jersey Bedding at all or Pure Zone

Poor quality and their lack of service.
Very bad customer service
I bought a queen size sheet set 450 thread count egyptian cotton from Bundoora Vic. Washed it according to instructions. Tried to put the fitted sheet on my mattress, it was too small. Took it back to the store and was told it was a double bed size in a queen size packaging. They gave me another set. After washing it, I tried to put the fitted sheet on, and again I had the same problem. I went back to the store and was told it is a queen size set, they cannot help me. I got in touch with head office. I sent the set to them and was told it fit

Marie. nothing, I only went to Pure Zone because I have a store close to home. faulty fabric, wrong sizingLike the product, but terrible service
I've bought three lots of sheet sets from Pure Zone & have loved them all, especially their 1000 thread count sheets. However, the bamboo towels I bought, although they felt soft, looked tatty & old after a month of use. I didn't bother trying to return them & from the reviews I've read here I probably wouldn't have had any luck anyway. I worked in retail for many years & always prided myself on giving excellent customer service; I hate bad customer service! The last time I went into a Pure Zone store I was completely ignored, even though I was

My question was "Do you stock any sheets & quilt covers in Super King size?" Their answer was "No", & that was it; they did not speak any other words to me. I was quite disgusted & was thinking about making a formal complaint, but given what others have had to say about their head office, it would probably have fallen on deaf ears. I wont shop with them again. Nice sheets Terrible customer serviceShoddy products and terrible service
I bought a king size quilt cover set from the DFO store in Canberra. It was a ruched design and it wouldn't fit properly on my quilt - it stretched out but retracted at the end so you could see the quilt poking out. I took it back - they said that they couldn't do anything on a Saturday as they were too busy to talk to me! I said I worked every other day of the week, so Saturday it had to be. They then said I must have gotten the queen size by accident, so they replaced it with a king.
It was the same size. When I took it back (again) th

They suggested I try ironing it. I pointed out that the instructions explicity said not to iron. They wouldn't budge, not even to exchange it. I spent $75 on the cover and matching valance, both of which are useless. Not to mention trekking out to the shop 3 times all up - who has time for that? Some money saving. It's cost me more than if I'd bought a decent quality set in the first place. Shoddy product and terrible service.Good value, great service
I am really surprised to see these terrible reviews. I have made many purchases at the Cheltenham and Cairns stores over the past 6 years, as I have holiday properties in Vic and Qld. I have also dealt with the head office on one occasion when I had a large order and needed stock from a couple of different stores. They have always been helpful and friendly, and their prices are amazing, particularly in their sales.
This is great everyday stuff and stands up to commercial laundering. It is not Sheridan, and costs a fraction of the price, so

Terrible Quality Bedlinen
Stupid me, I have purchase Pure Zone Bedlinen twice, I gave them a second chance, I won't be giving them a third. I will start with, I have always followed the correct laundering for the products purchased. My first experience was a few years ago when I purchased a Quilt Cover and a 1000 thread count Sheet Set from the DFO Brisbane Airport store. The quilt cover was the first to fall apart and the sheet set followed not long after, this was after not much use. Recently to purchased another Sheet Set from their online store, they have been washed twice and used once and are already coming apart. Not worth the money, you would get better quality at a $2 store.
Looks nice
Dodgy RRP Pricing and poor quality sheets
Bought some bamboo sheets from their DFO Brisbane Airport shop. They pilled like crazy after about 2 weeks which is something I've never had happen before. Even the pillowcases and the side wall of the fitted sheet pilled. Rang up the store and was told that I had caused the pilling and they they weren't legally obligated to give me a refund. No problem, won't go back. Hope it was worth it.
I'm also wondering about their signage - I was directed to some brand new sheets that had just come in that day, as they were being unpacked. The origina
... Read morel price on the sign was very expensive, but it was crossed out with the new current price next to it. as well as a RRP. How can this be, as they have never been sold at the higher price - they were just unpacking the boxes as I came in. Very dodgy. I asked where else these products were sold to justify the high RRP - the answer was nowhere, they are exclusive to Pure Zone and manufactured for us in China. Isn't this false pricing illegal?!? So for example the signs said RRP $250 was $160 now $99.95 - 60% off - all on NEW stock that was just being unpacked into the store. They don't have retail stores, only DFO and outlet ones. I've been in their during their 'Up to 70% off sales' too, and the staff couldn't tell me what was actually 70% off. When is something going to be done about this dodgy practice? Faulty sheets pilling, misleading prices with overinflated original pricingPure Zone
I am really surprised to read these poor reviews. I have had nothing but great service and beautiful products from this store. We have shopped there for many years without incident. Our towels are really fluffy and absorbent and have kept their colour. The only problem I have had is that the elastic in the fitted sheet has stretched. But so what, thats wear and tear after lots of use.
Nice service.

Faulty Goods Statutory Refund Refused
My wife purchased King Single sheets from Pure Zone and found the goods to be faulty. She returned the goods to the Castle Hill shop and they initially replaced them. The new set also turned out to be faulty and this time they told us they would not provide a refund as it must be our fault that the goods were faulty. We are lodging claim with the NSW Dept of Fair Trading and lodging a formal compliant with the ACCC. If you type in "Reviews on Pure Zone you will see we are only one of many who have suffered a similar fate.
This product was expensive however it was completely unusable.
Kung size sheets do not fit terrible customer service
I bought king size sheets from pure zone three different sets. The fitted sheets did not fit properly on the new king mattress. I took them back they sent them to head office and stated they fit on their king beds and basically badluck. Don't know what I was thinking that day and should hv gone with Sheridan like I usually do.
Sheets did not fit properly
Shoddy products and false advertising.
For starters, their website claims that their mattress toppers and protectors are 100% cotton; however all have polyester filling and some even have a poly-cotton outer - false advertising! Their $18 delivery fee is a joke considering it is an online store.
Bought 1000 thread count from them for a relatively high price ($150) for a so-called "factory outlet". They pilled instantly as well as the stitching coming undone in the pillowcases from shoddy workmanship (all made in China, apparently). I returned my sheets within a week and the sale
... Read mores assistant tried to tell me that the pilling was my fault, even though the pilling was occurring everywhere. Their head office was of no help and treated me with general disdain. I was offered a replacement fitted sheet that I had to wait months for - apparently I was one of around eight customers waiting for this replacement! Talk about a pathetic product. This particular batch of 1000 thread count sheets was then discounted to sell out while they waited for the "better" batch to come in (why not remove it from sale if it's faulty??). Basically it's just Chinese-made junk sold at inflated prices, I certainly will not be purchasing from Pure Zone in the future and I'll make sure that my friends don't, either. Their staff are powerless to deal with faulty products (nobody was authorised to resolve the situation, refund or otherwise - not even the manager!) and their head office won't help. They are also one of very few stores left with a no refund policy for returns - Adairs, Pillowtalk, Sheridan and Bed Bath n Table will all refund for change of mind, Pure Zone is the only one that will not. Shop elsewhere! Absolutely nothing. Faulty products, poor customer service, rude and unhelpful and rude head office.Bad product,Awful custermer service,
Bought a waffle doona cover, followed care instruction to the letter and cover shrank. Apparently I need to stretch and iron the doona cover every time I wash it.(i have never heard of this before) These instructions are not listed, otherwise I would not have purchased this product. When I went to return the unused doona cover, the staff was very uncooperative, as was head office. Unfortunately if the store doesn't want to cooperate even Consumer Affairs cant really do much. I would advise people to be very careful when purchasing from this store, because if something is wrong with your product you are stuck with it and out of pocket for an inferior product.
shrunk, unreasonable care instruction
'You only get what you pay for.' BUT
I accept the old saying 'You only get what you pay for.' However, Pure Zone promotes itself as a quality linen supplier peddling the point that its factory direct and online sales methods enable it to make its products more affordable. Rather than sticking out winter in Ballarat we leased a furnished apartment in Cairns for six months and needed supply our own linen. As we have no intention of taking this linen back with us we didn't want to spend a lot but wanted something reasonable.
We came across Pure Zone at the Cairns DFO. Based on pri

After washing one set of sheets (warm wash/cold rinse) the flat sheet shrunk by more than 150mm in length and 50mm in width while pillow slips lost 20mm all round. The edges of both the hand towels and bath mats frayed during the first wash. We decided to return the linen we had not opened and detail what had happened to their Pure Zone products after one wash. I response we got from the store manager was one of feint surprise and we where informed the Pure Zone return policy did not provide for a refund but only exchange or credit note for future purchase. Informing the manager what I thought of their products and return policy we left. A few days latter we use the Pure Zone bath towels. Surprise, surprise, we where disappointed again. You would think the towels had been ‘scotch guarded’. They are the most non-absorbent towels ever, just smearing the water across the skin, leaving cold water on the skin which maybe fine in Cairns but dread the thought of using them during a Ballarat winter.Extra Information
