The agent for the rentals was rude, we asked if pets were allowed he said no then told the other people they could not fair.

I provided all the proof of ownership and authority requested before they can complete my listing. That was 3 days ago and after emails sent asking what is going on, no reply. I have no contact no for them either, if anyone can point me to that would appreciate it!

The software was easy to use even for a dinosaur like me! It is only slightly harder to use than ebay, so have no fear peoples, you can achieve good results without having to give an agent a lot of money to do it for you! But please be aware it still does not stop the Agents wanting to stick their noses in and wanting a piece of the action.
All in all its a good easy to use site, the service is reasonable, and the price is great when you consider the alternative 8/10

been trying to update my listing twice this morning (Saturday)to no avail so rang the office & it is closed! Supposedly being available 24/7.....Waste of my time & money!

We have sold and rented property and few times via Real Private now. We find it works better for both buyer and seller, and we have developed a good relationship with them over that time. As long as you just test to make sure the call centre connects through once you set up the ad, that's it. They even send you an email now to let you know a phone call has been taken just in case you missed it - that's a valuable addition to ensure you capture your enquiries. Also the new online forms for rental applications are brilliant, for both tenants and landlords!

The first 2 weeks of our listing the buyers couldn't get through to us. One of the many times I tested the contact via our listing on realestate.com the phone rep sent the call through to someone who had listed with realprivate a year ago in a different suburb!
The customer service from Real Private was slow and uninterested. Test the service out by doing a dummy call to a realprivate lister before forking out your $. Then choose another private listing provider.

Real Private is quite a bit cheaper than other online real estate agent. The online application form is a great feature, prospective applicants and apply online and attached supporting documents. Real private forward all alerts and applications to me really quickly. I got my tenant from interstate within 3 days listing.

Everything was great, the only one thing I can suggest is the website interface can be more user friendly.
