Finally got the Key, Disaster and Nightmaresssss
I am building at stage 1 Willetton.
The sales [name removed] and [name removed] are very good. They always response quickly and helping customer. Unfortunately, Nicheliving is a dodgy company . They cannot keep good staffs!! The turn over rate is very high. All the pre-sales and finance people left the company within 2 months time. Don't expect The Sales people will help you throughout the construction.

Dianne is a fantastic Property Manager
Dianne Huggins has managed our investment property since construction was completed in September 2014. She is fantastic and we cannot fault her. She does what she says she will do, always follows through and goes above and beyond. Her communication is A1. Even when we had a tenant go AWAL on us she was a calming influence and really took a lot of the stress away.

Perfect and nice management

Couldn't be happier
We have lived in this Niche Living home now in Armadale for about 5 or 6 years and we couldn't be more happy with the place and the support we receive especially from Dianne Huggins, and Aileen Pearce. Over the years a few minor problems have surfaced and these girls have been quick and efficient in resolving the issues. Met all expectations
From the outset of the property purchase to the build we were presented with factual information which was followed up with a professional approach which met all claims and expectations. All staff from sales, through to Customer Liaison and the building and building supervision were very professional. It made the whole experience very satisfying.

Amazing Sales Rep
Met Sarah on Friday in Hammond Park for two viewings. She was extremely professional and friendly. I had so many questions and she answered them all well. I ended up taking up 3 hours of her time but she was more than happy with this. Its comforting being a single female talking to a female consultant. I have rung all weekend with questions and she was more than happy to help me. I was so happy I referred my sister the same day.

The start of our new home
We put our deposit down on a 3 by 2 four months ago at their Landsdale site. After just a week I wanted to pull out but Jay Mackenzie sat us down to find out why and to see if there was anything they could do. He was so helpful and constructive that we decided to continue. Good job we did as we have now taken title to the land and building is starting soon. He helped us through the stress and redesign of the house. He was brilliant.

Excellent customer service and communication
So far I've dealt with Jay Mackenzie for a majority of the pre-construction process, opting for a House & Land package at Nicheliving's estate in Hammond Park. I appreciated Jay's no-nonsense and no jargon approach, and when he wasn't able to answer any of my queries on the spot, he was able to find out and get back to me within an acceptable time frame, and maintained solid communication throughout.

ons available on the market, I wasn't keen on making a lot of structural and design choices. Because they had already pre-allocated a variety of their house designs/floor plans to their blocks, as well as pre-selected interior design packages, this resulted in very few decisions for myself to make. The decisions I did have to make were very straightforward, yet still gave me the freedom to personalise the house to my taste. This not only minimises the amount of decisions and time dedicated by the customer, but also the projected time of the build itself. Granted, this process isn't for everyone, but I hope that other companies take notice and follow suit in adopting and including this (or a similar) process as part of their offerings.Similar opinion? As a project builder we aim to deliver high quality results while ensuring industry’s most competitive construction time frames. The home construction in your case has taken 12 months from commencement to handover which is in line with our average 2 storey build time frame and well within our promised contractual obligation. There was a list of variations and changes you requested whilst the build was underway which we accommodated unfortunately the variations did cause some delay. We are sorry we have fallen short of your expectations in this regard. 2. Payment Schedule The master builders association, valuation firms and all lenders have strict guidelines around the progress claims schedule and we always adhere to these guidelines, our progress claims are in line with industry standards. 3. Fridge recess We appreciate the inconvenience this would have caused. All building plans are always prepared with utmost care and diligence taken to ensure we deliver exactly what’s on the plans. Our measurements of 1000mm are to the brickwork, However it is possible for minor variances such as 4 millimetres in your case which allows for plaster etc. On another note however a 1000mm fridge will not fit in 1000mm recess. This recess is designed to accommodate up to a 980mm double door fridge and also allows for ventilation. 4. Hiding information We are sorry you have felt this way however we remain unsure what information has been hidden. we provide full detailed drawings along with access to our client liaison and mobile phone access to site supervisors at all times to answer any questions you may be unsure of. There is also the option of 1 on 1 meetings with any of our staff members upon request. 5. Prepare for un-expected expenses We pride ourselves in providing clients with a single cost construction contract with one caveat: we do not allow variations outside of our standard tick box options. Unlike other builders we discourage variations. This has helped us deliver outstanding value to our clients by maintaining lower overheads an minimizing our margin of error. In our aim to please you we accommodated as many variations as we possibly could have, some of which led to you incurring extra costs beyond our standard finishes stipulated in the contract. We understand you requested to change the stair design during the build which we also accommodated. We would like to assure you that the costs incurred have been to cover the cost of these variations and have been accommodated at a loss to Nicheliving. The upstairs floor you mentioned is top quality CSR Hebel, as you requested to remove the carpet and install your own timber laminate floors, with any raw surface it is normal to have to screed the floor substrate to accommodate timber laminate floors this is standard practice. As it was your request to remove the carpet which does not require screed, any cost of screed remains your responsibility however as a gesture of good faith Nicheliving paid half for you. 6. Design Change We are aware of incorrect brick colour having been delivered to your property due to a scheduling error. This was swiftly rectified by our team and our team worked hard and stayed on track as far as milestone deadlines were concerned. We hope you appreciate that these minor issues do happen and we ALWAYS rectify them and ensure they cause no impact to the clients as it is in this case. 7. Communication We are sorry we did not live up to your standards in this regard despite our absolute best efforts some of which are: Providing you with direct line of contact to the site supervisor. Providing you direct line of contact with sales manager. Providing multiple meeting points with construction manager. Direct always on communication with our client liaison team. We are sorry falling short of your expectations. 8. We believe you appointed an independent building inspector. The report came back extremely positive with some minor rectifications which were all actioned by our team. The building inspector made comments on how excellent the quality of the house was which is a testament to the quality of our workmanship. We are always striving to improve the quality of our construction, finishes and workmanship and encourage any constructive feedback that can help us on this venture. We do not believe the above is an objective assessment of the quality of Nicheliving homes as evidenced by our numerous positive reviews. Once again we are sorry as we have evidently failed to deliver on your expectations.
