Hi just wondering how people find the storage basket on the Jive? Easy to use? Big enough? I love the big basket on the Metro, but the fold of the Jive seems better! Can't decide!
Yeah its not bad...it can hold up to 5 kilos of weight...so far I hve used it for storing 2 to 3 grocery and. My bubs stuff stays n the diaper bag which I hang on the handle. Has worked for me.
Hello, just wondering whether the Jive is good for daily walks and "off path adventures"?! I walk around my area for exercise an hour a day so wanting to make sure this is suitable?

Hi. My bub is only a week old so havent taken the pram for walks yet but i plan on it. We have taken it to westfields and it was great. From using it the last few days ive no doubt when i go walking around the neighborhood it will be awesome tok.

When considering the jive for its ability to upgrade to two children down the track, I wonder: at what point do children usually grow out of this pram? At what ages are your children sitting comfortably, and how much time would you actually get out of the dual feature before kidlets become too big? (Weight and height?) my scenario does not involve twins ect.

A child generally starts to develop the ability to sit up (or at least partially sit up - which is when you want to move them out of a bassinet) at around six months old. We also have a Buggyboard. If your older child get to the stage that they'd like to run around more, you can convert back into a single and add the Buggybpard so they can stand on the platform when they're tried (or you need to get somewhere in a hurry!

The Jive and Metro seem to have very similar frames, with the main difference being basket size vs adaptability for two children. Is it possible to get a larger basket for the Jive when it is not in two child mode?

Read more fold differently, but surely they could manufacture a seperate basket accessory for when it's not in tandem mode, that has soft collapsible sides to make the basket more of a basket- and less of a platform with drawstring bag. My worry is that things will slip out of the bag, or hang over and drag on the ground. It just didn't look secure/ useable. solid 'sides' would have been enough to make me buy it, and for it to be the PERFECT pram.

Im not tall myself but the handle bars do click into different positions, for example it can be flat or elevated at about a 45degree angle. Do they have a demo coming to your state?

The best news for you in that I found at the recent demo they have made new improvements to the current Jive model including a telescopic handle with a slightly longer length (higher rise) than my previous model. Feel confident that it will be perfect height for your husband! My husband did find he had to slightly shorten his normal gait to not kick the bottom bar of the pram's frame with his foot, but found he soon got used to it. He can't speak more highly of the Jive, we love it.

The bassinet lays flat as expected while the stroller seat when reclined to the bottom level is almost flat but is still in a slightly seated position.

Hi just wondering if anyone has had any issues at all with the front wheels? This is the only thing holding me back! I am getting rid of my current pram as it is very hard to steer sometimes and I have put it down to the front wheels being plastic.... but the Jive has the same.

I have had no issues at all with the front wheels and i find the pram super easy to steer, can actually do it one handed it is that light to steer

Read moreear wheels are air wheels which provide superior surface grip and performance. A lot of the steering comes from the rear wheels where you push the handle bar from. The front wheels can move easily and freely with their 360 degree swivel design, too.
Yes, sometimes I have problems with the front wheels. Say if I push it over the smooth curbs, the pram gets stuck. The tyres are not big enough to go over. I have to lift the front to get over it.

However, we have found that most customers take their child out of the pram and place them in a high chair while eating to keep their pram as clean as possible. While the seat height is comparable to many modular prams on the market which are similar to the JIVE, we will take this feedback from powchy and Lisa on board, and look into whether there are any options to make the seat higher for customers that do like their child to sit very high in the pram while maintaining the 20kg weight limit.
I love the look of the jive but am a little concerned about how low the storage compartment is to the ground. Has anyone found it catches on things or wears out?
Hi, I agree it is low to the ground but I haven't found it to touch the ground or catch in everyday use. It obviously does as you go up steps or a gutter. I put quite a bit into my basket too and haven't noticed it touching the ground.
I always put heaps of things in the storage compartment and fill it up with groceries, and I have never experienced any problems with it!
Yes it is low. I always catch the curbs when I go over them even though I don't put too many things in there

Read moreuldn't bother with it and would get a better car seat as the Maxi Cosi AP wasn't great (not easy to adjust, time consuming to put baby in and out, expensive, hot, bub grew out of it by 4 months). We now have a Infasecure Grandeur Treo which can be used 0-8 years, and rear facing to 30 months. Our bub is so much happier in this seat!
