Hi Girls, I am 46 yrs of age and lucky for me (LOL) going through premenopause symptons. I have just spent the last 2 weeks crying for no apparent reason. If you are reading this, and, this is happening to you please accept the virtual hugs I am sending you.. I started on Remi 5 days ago at a dose of 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening. At this stage I am emotional drained but feeling calmer...I will let you know how I go...wish me luck :-)

Not for me

published

Months of hot flushes and night sweats makes you a little desperate at times!!! (up to 50 per day!) I am using progesterone cream (5 weeks) with little response so was keen to try Remifemin. After the first day I had awful dizziness (almost fell over!) and mild pain in my uterus....didn't think it could be this medication but I stopped taking them after one week and the dizziness and pain stopped!!! Bit of a scarey response!
I then had the first uninterrupted sleep for months!
Just be careful with taking medications, even OTC ones can be potent. Unfortunately it hasn't worked for me. Good luck to others though.
nothing
dizziness/vertigo, uterine pain

Amazing product!! Would highly recommend .

After suffering for months with hot flushes, mood swings etc.
I was recommended Remifemin by my doctor as I couldn't go on HRT,due to history of breast cancer in my family. I've never looked back! highly recommend Remifemin ... It's amazing! No more flushes, no more feeling bloated. I feel normal again!
Easy to swallow.
A little expensive, but worth it.

Works for me

published

I started with hot flushes and feeling sick, I tried these after a little research. I took 2 3 times a day for first 2 days then 2 twice a day, within a few days no more flushes. It has been 2 months and I have tried going to 1 twice a day and could feel them returning. I am still on 2 twice a day, but feel good. Definitely worth a try, made a huge difference for me.
Worked great
Need to keep taking or symptoms quickly return

2 weeks and it is not working - help!

published

My GP told that me she had used remifemin on advice from her oncologist & found it great. She said to take 1 x 3 times a day & if there wasn't any improvement after 2 weeks go to 2 x 3 times a day.
It has now been 2 weeks and the sweat is pouring off me - its embarrassing because it drips! I seem to be sleeping worse, throwing the covers off because I am hot then waking up cold - this goes on all night. Also, I am constantly dreaming & they are stressful dreams - which is strange as my life is not stressful at all.
Today I am increasing as she suggested.
Cheap
Not helping so far

I have been taking 1 tablet morning and night for 5 days. i have gotten relieve already. They have but all gone and are not as severe as they were. i encourage women to try this product - you can only move on to something else if it doesnt work. This is the first product i have tried - so far so good.
At least it is natural.
I can pick this up at woolies when shopping

A big help

published

I have been taking this tablet for a couple of years now. Before I found them I was having terrible hot flushes / sweats. These settled down during the day but I found that I was still waking at night with hot flushes. I began taking the night versions of this product and my flushes have all but gone. Definitely not an issue anymore.
Reliable, easy to take.
When paired with the night version of this tablet I have almost stopped getting the hot flushes.

How often do you stop taking Remifemen so that it does not build up in your system ?

I have cut down on a couple of occasions but flushes quickly return. It is natural so I am not too worried about it building up

Remifemin took about 2 - 4 weeks to work. No hot flushes, No night sweats, No vagueness, No crawly skin, No anxiety... All my symptoms have basically disappeared with them occassionally appearing. I cut back to 1 tablet and used another vitamin brand with black cohosh in it and my symptoms returned. So my body needs 2 x 1 tablet morning and night. What's important in this brand is the black cohosh and the way its extracted and the parts of the black cohosh they use. I will never go off it. It has given me my life back.
No hot flushes, No night sweats, No vagueness, No crawly skin, No anxiety... only a little depression and low libido which I had before using.
Even the price is ok - my health is everything.

Good

My doctor recommended I use Remifemin Menopause Symptom Relief because I was having hot flushes, dizziness and moods swings. She said it was the only product which had been scientifically tested and which other patients had said provided relief. I have been using it and found it has helped reduce the frequency of the hot flushes, especially the night ones and with the mood swings. I have found Remifemin to be reasonably priced which is important because it takes about 6 weeks before it works. Other products are more expensive and haven't provided me with any relief.
Easy to take and reasonably priced
it takes about 5/6 weeks before you feel effect

My menopause symptoms came on very suddenly - especially the hot flushes and the sleeplessness. I took Remifemin and had no difference for 6 weeks but suddenly noticed that the symptoms had all but gone. I am now sleeping all night, and the flushes are almost non existent. Strange but true - I am taking two tablets morning and night and will be trying to reduce to one morning and night over the next week. Am very, very happy that my sister recommended them to me
inexpensive and effective

Brought a sense of balance back into my life

I started having a few hot flushes and thought what's all the fuss about, menopause is a breeze! After a month I experienced constant hot flushes and mood swings and thought I would do ANYTHING for some relief. I didn't want to take HRT with all the negative side affects and wanted something natural.I feel sorry for all you ladies who have had to wait so long for it to take effect. I found great relief after just 3 days! I now take 2 tablets a day.
For me it worked quickly, the side affects are that I feel like a normal human being again and I think it is priced very well.
It isn't advertised enough. It needs more exposure so it becomes the first thing meopausal women think of when considering products that give relief!

On the 3rd day of taking this I woke with a shocking headache (no don't drink), had a slermosh stomach each time I took it and that was with a glass of water or milk. and felt quite dizzie for most of the 3rd day.
Plus my kidneys felt like they had been kicked by an Aussie league player this morning.
Guess it's not for me.
Nothing else had been different except this
inexpencive compared to some
scary

Please call the shop where you bought them from. We shouldn't give you health advice when we don't know what else you are taking. It's best to speak with a pharmacist.

I understand it is all natural, however, I would double check with your specialist or Doctor first. I've still found it to be good.
