Hi,
We have a Retreat Fraser 219B and can’t figure out how to open the windows! If anyone could help us out, it would be greatly appreciated. We bought the van privately and there is nothing in our documentation to help us out.
Thanks.

Should be able to just unlock each lock and push the window out. Sometimes the Windows need quiet a push if the rubber around the window gets a little stuck

Contact Greg or Tilly at complete caravan care. They aren't good at getting back to you but keep trying they will eventually answer you. Weather they fix the faults is another thing. Good luck

Hi Chris, I suggest you contact Retreat direct or one of their dealers. Otherwise, there is a Retreat Owners group on Facebook which is a valuable source of information on Retreat caravans, problem solutions and general advice. When we purchased our van in 2015 we received verbal advice and a DVD on operational aspects in addition to a number of manuals on the appliances, battery charger etc. We didn't get a technical manual on the caravan, generally. Hope this helps.

ever thought of getting together, get legal help and try to get our money back as a group, instead of trying to fight them on our own.

As per my review I did in fact get my money back via a new replacement caravan from my dealer in Newcastle, 7th Street Caravans. I wouldn't hold out much hope of getting your money back or any service resolution from Retreat Caravans. I wish you well in any legal measures you take with them though!

We battled our way through a number of warranty issues with Retreat's Complete Caravan Care (CCC) which we shouldnt have. However, in the end we did receive good repairs and service thanks to their manager, Cherie. Now that our warranty period has expired we'd rather put the matters behind us and hopefully enjoy our van. We'd like to think our problems were due to the slackness or blood mindedness of one individual at CCC. Never companies such as CCC need a kick up the butt just to make them realise the stress and anxt they put people through. So if you have had poor service I think you should put it out there to let others know and hopefully either things will be addressed or at least other customers will be more aware of the possible pitfalls.
