revlon photoready airbrush effects makeup
I am so so disappointed with the apparently new and improved Revlon photoready makeup. It's called AIRBRUSH EFFECTS. I opened up new bottle, thinking it was the same as the original make-up that I usually buy and it was awful. It's not like the original product that was silky smooth on the face, easily applied and looked fantastic. This new AIRBRUSH EFFECTS foundation make-up certainly does not go on the skin silky smoothly anymore. I also note that the colour (005 Natural Beige) that I've always used in the past is not the same with the newer ...Read more
product. When applied, the colour is more a jaundice/yellowy colour and feels gluggy and heavy, does not go on silky smooth. This is definitely not an improvement! When I made enquiries at a few stores that sell Revlon products, they advised me that the original product is discontinued. What happened Revlon? Good news! I made further enquiries online and found a distributor that still stocks and sells the onriginal make-up that I love, so I purchased a couple of bottles online? I paid a bit more for shipping because it's all the way from the USA but well worth it in my opinion. Shame I can't buy it here in Australia anymore!Similar opinion? Photo ready foundation
I have always been a fan of Revlon Photo ready foundation. Yesterday I opened my new bottle and couldn't believe it. It was "airbrush effect" Photo ready, difficult to apply because of its dryness and difficult to blend. My makeup looked heavy and dark. The old Photo ready was always silky smooth and blended beautifully. No more airbrush for me. I will have to change brands.

Revlon colorburst matte balm
I've had this balm for a while now as I don't usually wear makeup so it hardly gets used. I have 225 which is a beautiful red mauve colour. It smells minty and fresh which is quite nice. However, it dries out my lips even if I apply lip balm first, although this may be caused by using a setting powder. It also doesn't last very long but it is good quality and accentuates your look.

Smells bad and had bad reaction
On the plus side the colour matched reasonably well. Price seemed very cheap and seemed to apply easily with fingers. On the negative I was allergic to the product. This is just my skin though so others may be different but have never had problems before. Also smelt funny like chemicals. Face ended up looking like I had spilt boiling water all over me. Good lesson for me is to make sure makeup lady always does a skin patch test first

Disappointed with new Revlon Photoready Airbrush Effect
I have used Photoready foundation since it first landed in David Jones. I can't believe it has been changed. I picked up the Photoready Airbrush Effect by mistake, and when I applied it, noticed that it was dry and too dark. I have been in to get matched again, but I have decided that I don't like it and will have to go for another brand. Can't believe you changed it!!!!

New Revlon Photoready Airbrush Effect
I have been using Revlon Photoready foundation for years and was surprised to find it has now been changed. First I had to go a shade lighter than what I had been using previously. The old Photoready was easy to apply and dried quickly and felt like velvet on your skin. The new Photoready is hard to apply and has a very sticky feel about it. I am very disappointed that Revlon have changed a great product and instead of going forward with this product have gone back in time to a hard to apply sticky foundation that feels terrible on your skin. Unfortunately I now have to look for a new foundation.

revlon colorstay foundation oily/combination
I have a unusual coloured face and oily skin, so the combination of the 2 made it difficult to find foundation that didn't melt off my face. I found the revlon colorstay foundation for oily/combination skin and it works a treat (my colour and everything). The only downfall is the pump bottle I did prefer when it wasn't pump

Revlon colorburst matte balm in "Elusive"
I recently purchased Revlon colorburst matte balm in "Elusive". I love the colour, its not too bright but its a pick me up colour and glides on beautifully, and has a slight peppermint scent in the beginning which is soothing. It is great if you hate the feeling of drying lips, because this stays moist and smooth, and isnt sticky or shiny like a lip gloss. It doesn't have the best staying power (maybe 1 hour or so) but its great for a pop of colour and comes in many colours!
Lots of colours, matte, doesnt dry lips, good price, easy to apply, smells yummy
Needs reapplying after an hour or two.

One of THE BEST FOUNDATIONS
I have oily, acne prone skin and found it difficult to find a foundation which stayed on my face shine free, and also long wear all day. I have been using this product since I was younger, and have not come across a competitor which can make a better product. Revlon colorstay foundation!! Before they used to use the 'softflex' technology foundation, and now the new product does not have it in it. I find its a little more drying, so you have to use a nice primer underneath your foundation for it too spread nicely. I also use the Revlon colorstay...Read more
pressed powder ontop, and no need to reapply for up to 8 hours. In exspensive for such a great product at $30.99 and the powder $30.99 Stayed on all day, covered acne, inexspensive compared to 'mac' or 'napoleon' Without the softlex technology, its a little thicker, but just use a good primer for the foundation to slide nicely over your skinSimilar opinion? Greatest foundation ever.
Revlon has always proven to provide great quality cosmetics at a decent price. They are classed as a 'drugstore' cosmetic brand, however, the products are from my experience, to be of a high quality. Their colorstay oil free foundation is the best foundation I have ever used, it does not cause acne (seems to help stop acne!), the staying power is amazing and the colour match is to die for. I also have some of their eye products, such as eyeshadows and a brown eyeliner which are all very good quality which last all day. Highly recommend.
Best foundation ever, great quality

Eyeliner that doesn't streak or sweat off
I was so desperate to find an eyebrow liner for my aging, thinning brows that would stay on when I was hot and sweaty in the summer, and going to the gym. I was even actually considering tattooing. But Revlons Colorstay is really, truly sweat-proof, as long as you don't rub it. Pardon my graphics, but if you're like me, you'll want to know this: sweat will drip right over it and it stays in place! I just lightly dab with a towel I carry when I'm exercising. Best makeup I've ever bought. The only downside is it only comes in 2 colours: blonde an...Read more
d brunette. I'm brunette but was advised to buy the blonde, because it's darker than you would think. And that is correct. I'd like it a tiny bit darker, but overall, I'm 100% sold on it. It's sweat-proof! Only comes in two colours, but it does a fine job anyway1 comment

Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter - Excellent!
I don't think I've found such a nice casual, every day lipstick for a long time until I bought the Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter. The Pink Truffle is a gorgeous colour. What I like about this lipstick is that it goes on so smoothly, gives a glossy look and it can be applied as light or as heavy as you need. So if you need a slight bit of colour to your lips, apply it lightly and for a heavier, richer look, apply more of it. Didn't dry out my lips - kept them moist. Thumbs up for this one.
It's so smooth with great colour & a nice gentle, glossy look

Revlon Photoready...pump challenge
I was recently introduced to Revlon Photo Ready, it is a primer. As a big Revlon make up fan, using the Age Defying foundation etc, I was keen to try. As such, this primer works brilliantly underneath my foundation, it sets easily, is not shiny and it gives me a lovely natural look..However, after about 2 weeks, the little pump stopped working. I cleaned it out, made sure that there were no blockages. The top was then really hard to put back on. Very frustrating. I ended up using a cotton bud to get the product out. My suggestion, just change the packaging into a tube form, see Nude, Mineral Primer.
Sets well, not shiny, combines well w foundation.
The pump stopped working,

Quite surprised at results
When you first apply it, it takes awhile for it to set. After about an hour, I did the kiss test and it still wasn't transfer-proof. I would suggest after you first apply it, to dab your lips with a tissue to remove the uppermost layer of colour, because after I did that, the colour stayed on all through work (8 hours +) with eating and drinking. When I got home, a little bit of colour had rubbed off in the center of the lips but the rest stayed put. If you plan on going out afterwards, all you need is a little touch-up and you're good to go ag...Read more
ain. Got mine at Priceline for the introductory price of $20. Other Colorstay lipsticks I've tried in the past left your lips very dry without the gloss over it. This one, surprisingly enough, didn't really. If you don't mind very slight dryness, you could get away with not wearing gloss over it. Stays on nearly all day. Minimal dryness for a budge-proof lipstick that doesn't come with the gloss. Nothing much really. A little had rubbed off in the center of the lips at the end of the day, but wasn't major. Mostly did what it claimed.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Revlon Colourstay Oil control.
I am so amazingly happy that I have finally found an amazing shine free matte makeup!!
I work at Red Rooster a fast food venue as a Supervisor.. Dealing with a very hot kitchen and looking after all my staff and the public I know stress and I get bad breakouts of acne on my chin... And just recently as it is now summer... Some on my forehead.
I only get very oily in work... Outside of work My chin is the only oily place.
This is the only wondferul foundation... That..
Stays on all day .. Through hell! ...Read more

Used once! sticky & would not set
This product is not what it was advertised to do, remains sticky and never dries, I was very disapointed in what I thought would be a great product as I have used Revlon products all my life and have beeb very pleased with all the other products I have used.
sticky, expensive for a product not living up to its press

Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick
LOVE LOVE LOVE
It is the best lipstick I have every used. It really does stay on and the color range is brilliant. It doesn't matter what eat or drink, I usually only apply first thing in the morning! Truly amazing.
I have given my Mother a range of colours to try also and she is notorious for reapplying lipstick throughout the day. She also keeps it on!
I usually buy at Priceline when the have their 2 for ... sales.
A very Good lipcolour.
Great colour range, stays on all day, dries quickly, nice feel, generous size tube - lasts for ages. Great value even at full price!

I puechased my 1st.C/stay o/time lipestick, & will never purchase again. Sticky all day & never sets, waisted my good money.
I still use and love it. The only time I find it gets sticky is if I reapply late in the day after eating greasy foods. Otherwise I stand by my comments. I don't buy any other lipsticks now.

An affordable long-wearing foundation
I have been wearing this particular foundation for years now. It is the only one I find not to be overpriced for a foundation that will last all day and night without an orange "glow".
Cheap, long-wearing, not orange.
Can dry your skin out. You need to wear a good primer / moisturiser underneath.

like wearing an acid timebomb
normally i am quite happy with revlon products..but after using their photoready foam to liquid foundation i am no less then terrified.
while the colours are easy to match and gives good coverage..if you so happen to rub it into your eye or cry at some point..expect the burning of a thousand suns in your eyes. its like detergenty acid and your eyes.cant seem to do anything but go into detox mode. also scary for this to happen while driving.
otherwise worth a try if your ok with temporary blindness

The product I reviewed is called Revlon Youth Fix, it is a fill and blur primer for face and neck.
It did not deliver what it promised to do. My advice is not to waste your money on a name brand, choose a reasonably priced product and have low expectations. Good luck from Costly mistake
