If you are dumb enough you'll use this machine.
I used this on a carpet that is very flat pile. I've cleaned carpets professionally years ago, and thought this would be the way to go because it got such a good rap. Before, the carpets looked fairly well OK, but I thought before I moved out, cleaning them would be the right thing for the new occupants. Well, after doing the job, the carpets look like they should be ripped up and replaced. What a complete and utter.
I am mortified. Who was the imbecile that invented this contraption. If someone knows him, let me know. I'll come and pe...Read more
rsonally kick his (colloquial posterior!!!). Rug doctor, you really are a Registered-Practicing-Idiot. The agent has withheld my $1600 bond because of the "damage" to the carpets. Plus they have given me a negative rating on my tenancy, and my credit. Rug Doctor!!! I am completely, and utterly gutted.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great results
Was moved to write this review after using this machine for the third time in I think about 5 years. I usually let my husband do the pushing, but this time I did it all myself and I am SO pleased with the results. My tip is not to use the spray get the carpet too wet. Just spray once over each stroke, or pass, then move the machine over the patch a few times without spraying- it will continue to vacuum as you do so, removing dirt without wetting.

Very disappointed
I hired your product to freshen up our carpets as we are selling our home. The machine left our carpets patchy and streaky looking even after 4 days. I rang your office and spoke to a helpful consultant who organized a free rehire to try and fix the problem. I redid the carpets and after another week and a half are still left with the same effect. I now have to get professional cleaners in to fix the problem, which when timing is critical has added a lot of extra unnecessary stress. Will not recommend your product and am not at all happy. It is...Read more
not a saving when you finish paying double in order to fix stains and streaks which were not present in the first place. Under the circumstances I expect a refund from the first hire of the machine on 18/3 of $58.47 as we are now having to get the carpets done professionally. Photos are available of the streaky carpets if necessary. Coby HockingSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Excellent
I hired it this morning for the first time. Carpets came up fab!!! Would definitely recommend it and almost certainly use it again....
Not a problem picking it up once I realised the initial setup very efficient. Also very reasonably priced and very easy to use the cleaning solution does what it says....

Just love this machine
Found this to be the perfect carpet extractor so far for my home. After one use my carpets came out like new. The machine does not saturate my carpets only leaving it moist which is quick to dry with the windows open.
What I am pleased about is result I get from using the Mighty Pro, it removes old stains, staining from my dog and ink stains from scrapping activities.
With cleaning I work horizontally then for corners I clean vertically to cover all areas of each room. To avoid liquid spitting out the back of this machine the correct qu...Read more
antity of defoamer and shampoo needs to be added (chatting while add the liquids can make you lose count, so not recommended :-D). I previously hired a person to clean my carpets and have to say the machine do just as a good job. If you are elderly maybe hiring a professional is good, as the professional move your furniture around to clean underneath. But if young and fit, then hiring will save money as professional will charge you for how many rooms you liked clean and the price increase with more rooms. Professionals usually charge around $80 for 3 rooms (including hall ways). While hiring which cost around $45 for hiring for 24 hours will allow you to clean the whole house. Excellent clean, quick to dry, does not leave carpet saturated like other machines Maneuvering around cornersSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Excellent
I love using the Rug Doctor machine as I can use the machines to go over all my carpets two or three time in one hiring. After using professional carpet cleaning firms who only went over my carpets once. I now have full control to go over troubled areas two or three times. My house my way.
Easy to Use and does a magnificent job

Excellent
Fantastic machine! Better than others we have tried. Our carpet is a year old and was pretty grubby from having a very pukey baby, and this machine got all the stains and marks out! It made our grubby rub as new with no effort! We also used it in our cars as it comes with the upholstery attachments, and it was fantastic! The best thing about it is that the cleaning products they use, don't stink like chemicals like other ones. I highly recommend the Rug Doctor over other machines, and offer paying someone to do it!
Easy to use, has upholstery attachments, is excellent at cleaning!
