I bought the Galaxy Smart Watch after doing research into Smart Watch options. I got an amazing deal and paid $399 at Rebel Sport. I have been really pleased with the functionality. Every day I learn an additional feature. As well as being functional it is aesthetically nice too & comfortable to wear everyday.

After years of upgrading my Fitbit with the latest and greatest I decided to make a switch to a watch that looked a little less "smartwatch" and more like a regular watch. The 42mm rose gold Samsung Galaxy watch definitely doesn't disappoint in the looks department. When it comes to performance though - it does lack in a few areas.
The "Product Expert" at Harvey Norman happily advised I'd get a good 6 days out of the battery which was definitely a step up from my Fitbit Blaze. I figured since I'm at the gym 4-5 times a week perhaps I'd sha...
Read moreve a few days off that to be a little more realistic. Well, I definitely overestimated. It lasts 2 days if I'm lucky. Rather disappointed but the features of the watch I must say do still make me love it. When I first purchased the watch I was an iPhone user. Whilst it worked relatively okay paired with the iPhone, the moment I switched to a Samsung Galaxy S9 (shock horror after YEARS being an Apple fan), I discovered so many other features that paired seamlessly with my phone. Fitness-wise the heart rate monitor does drop out A LOT. Here's where the Fitbit definitely outshines the Samsung Galaxy watch. The step counter appears accurate, but the "floors" counter does not. Not sure whether I have to update more details in my samsung profile but it appears the calories burnt seem a little over exaggerated during a workout too. (Weights workouts on my Samsung say I burn over 450 calories whereas my Fitbit I was lucky to get to 300 for the same workout) Despite the unimpressive battery life and some issues using it to track my health and fitness I do still love my watch. It's beautiful, pairs well with my new phone and its nice to wear something a little less "sporty" for every day.Purchased in .

I've been eyeing a smartwatch for about a year. Almost bought the Gear S3/Gear sport a few times but s3 was a bit too big for my wrist and the Sport didnt look as good in my opinion. So when the galaxy watch came out, I ordered one right away. I've been extremely happy with my purchase. i think its one of the best looking and featured watch on the market.
My main uses
- notifications
- never miss a call or message if my phone is on silent
- vibrating alarm (so I dont wake up my wife.)
- step counter
- timer
- control my music
Purchased in at Samsung Online store for $299.40.

I never had too much interest in smart watches. I didn't see what the hype was about when you can do everything on your phone anyway. But I was gifted a Samsung Galaxy Watch in Rose gold for my birthday in November and I LOVE IT!!! Not only is it a gorgeous looking watch, it's so handy. I love that you can customise the watch face (during Christmas I used really cute Xmas themes). I love the steps counter. It's actually stopped me using my phone so much as you get sent notifications on your watch and I can look and see when they pop up and see ...
Read moreif they are important or not. I get so many compliments on my watch. When it rings and my phone isn't handy I feel like Maxwell Smart talking into my watch haha. My favourite feature is the find my phone button. I'm forever forgetting where I put down my phone and this button rings the phone and helps me find it straight away. So impressed and grateful I got gifted such an amazing present.- Date Purchased

I'm so happy with the performance of my Gear S3 that I bought Galaxy Watch 42MM.
Almost identical specs with Gear S3 but now it is now completely water proof. I give the users a lot of health information which is vital when you are trying to loose so weight or just want to be active.
There are tons of available apps to maximize the watch usage. Really happy with this purchase.

Rose Gold version. Does what I want. Gold wearing off the side after 2 weeks though :(
I like how the Rose Gold is fashionable and the watch isn't too bulky for a woman's wrist. I didn't really buy it for the fitness side of things, but I don't think the step counter is that accurate. I like not having to have my phone in my pocket all the time to know if I have a message or email. Being only a bluetooth model, the range isn't very far, but is not a problem for me personally.
Texting is quite easy and you have a couple of options with how to do it, but if your eyes are starting to go, you'll need your glasses! The ready m...
Read moreade replies are handy also. I love how you can change the watch faces to suit what you're wearing or to give you information about your steps, weather etc. I did notice this morning that the gold is wearing of on the top left hand side of the watch after only 2 weeks. For a $500 watch, I think this is pretty poor. My son has the stainless 46mm version and his still looks like new even though he's had his longer. I did only pay just over $400 for mine due to a sale so at least that makes me feel a bit better. Battery life for me is good. I don't have the heart rate monitor or always on display on, plus I turn it off at night so I usually get a few days out of it on a charge. This is a great gadget and once it comes down in price it will be well worth the money.- Date Purchased
