Good sound bar. Does the job
The sound bar is good for watching movies and having that sound effect is great. On the other the soundbar could be alot be loud. But still a good product. I would recommend buying.
Purchased in February 2021 for A$249.00.

Great Soundbar for the Price
Brand new 65" 4K TV. Just like all of them, the sound is not what you'd call 4K. I'm pretty sure the manufacturers do that on purpose, so you have to go back and buy a S/Bar just to get a decent sound for your movies etc. Hoping you'll buy a Samsung or whatever brand matches your TV. After a year of putting up with 1970's transistor radio quality sound, decided now's the time. Purchased a Samsung HW-450 soundbar and hooked it up using the optical(digital) sound out from the TV. with a decent full bass sound from the sub-woofer. I have an open plan living area, approx. 8 mtr, by 15 mtr with hard floors(no carpet) and the R450 was more than ample to deliver an excellent sound with a rich full bass. I can only tell you what my experience was with this model, and I'm real glad I didn't spend $400, or $600. Like any electronic media device, you must check the settings on both units concerned. By the way my TV is NOT a Samsung. I have only used the Samsung HW-R450 connected via the optical sound out, and will not be changing the input. Very satisfied with the price, the sound quality (including the sub-woofer bass), and the ease of setup. That's my experience. I really think there are a lot of factors that give you a good result, i.e. where you position the speaker, where you position the S/Woofer, and the surfaces of your TV room (wall and floor). I'm lucky, purchased, set up, turned it on and sat back to enjoy the Cinema type experience I really wasn't expecting.1 comment

Great speaker and sub for the price
This speaker is good for a small room.
Would not be good for a large room if your like your music loud.
The sound is decent for the price.
If you want premium sound you will need to pay more.
Purchased in March 2021 at JB Hi-Fi for A$200.00.

Wireless subwoofer doesn't turn on
This soundbar comes with a wireless subwoofer which is supposed to turn on off after the soundbar is switched on and off. However, every second time or so the subwoofer does not turn on and it takes a few attempts or de-energising it before it turns on. This is regardless where it is positioned relative to the soundbar. Rather frustrating. I suspect other Samsung soundbars may have similar problems.

easy and great sounds
Was very easy to connect and we didnt have a matching samsung tv. Easy to hang on wall and great sound. Lots of different setting so i play around with them all which is good.
We dont have it on all the time but when we do it sounds like we are in a real cinema. ours also came with one large speaker which is cool and adds to the sound affect.

Good sound, easy to connect
We've only had this a few months but so far it's been great. It was really easy to connect to the TV using the wireless system. It's quite smart looking and the sound is great. You can connect it to your phone as well using bluetooth so you can play music - maybe they all do this nowadays but I was impressed ;-)
