Terrible
Not at all satisfactory.Insted of cleaning the washing machine is making cloth more dirty.Samsung has to improve the quality
Good size drum
After 9 months of use, layers of black particle found in the washed cloth, faulty fabric dispenser design.Drum cleaned by samsung still present after 3 months.

Good
Had to replace a 4 year old well known brand "commercial" machine after it broke so badly it would have cost $600 to fix and the 6.5kg Samsung was the only one that would fit in the spot for the washing machine at the time, so I reluctantly bought it. Liked it so much that when I moved out I bought the 8kg Samsung.
The lint filter is brilliant - they don't seem to come standard anymore, which is ridiculous. The fact that there is no agitator - fits more in, less wear on clothes and machine.
Doesn't come with some sort of seal that most other ma...Read more

Good
Very minor cons about this machine but it is great otherwise. It washes the clothes really well and is fairly quiet to run. Also for some bizarre reason the only time the clothes tangle is when I wash the families flanalette pyjamas (and it is only mine and my husbands which tangle).
Big capacity-we bought the 8kg model (SW80USP), lint filter, cleans the clothes really well, easy to use console, don't have to remember to press an add fabric softner button-machine does it automatically, love the musical tune when its finished, adjustable water t...Read more

I think that this is one of the best machines that we have bought- even my hubby said to me "it is such a pleasure to do the washing" and he is doing it before I can get to it. So if you are worried about anything- don't be because when you buy this machine it makes washing so much fun that you won't get to do it anymore- as your hubby will be in their first!
I LOVE THIS MACHINE! Everything is wonderful- from the small agitator to the lint filter, through to the wash cycles and wash options.

If you want a top loader with a similar concept to a front loader then this style of machine is great. When considering overall performance and taking into account the cost, this is a great buy.
I love this machine. I got the SW80 (8kg) and it fits a huge load (set of King size sheets and light quilt cover). It has a memory feature where you can setup a regular washing cycle and in 3 buttons you are on your way. The lint filter is great and really catches the fluff. I had an NEC fuzzy logic machine without the agitator for 10 years and loved it...Read more

Washes all my clothes very well and with not much noice. THe price wasn't too bad in comparison with other brands and models. I would easily recommend this to anyone looking for a new washing machine. Very happy with this product
pretty gread product. I got the 7.5kg machine so can wash quilt covers in it. Nice and quite and does the job perfectly. Well known and trusted brand.
nothing I have found so far but haven't had it for too long. Perhaps the lid seems a bit light and not really strong. But that's pretty minor con.

I liked this machine for the first year or so (apart from the problem with delicates) but it has been getting steadily more off-balance with the spin for the past 12 months or so and is now at the stage where I HATE it with a passion!
Am looking for a new one (not a Samsung - have also had problems with a leaking freezer in my Samsung fridge).
See through lid on top & folding style of lid.
Extra low water level (I have the 8kg).
Delicate cycle (ties everything in knots); spin constantly stops with UE message, can take up to 12 reshuffles of ...Read more

I recommend this little washing machine for small households (we are 3 adults)- we have had ours for 4-5 months and have been very happy with it. Hopefully it continues to please.
I have the 5 kilo version of this machine and have been delighted with it, it washes well, the lint trap works very well and it has this happy little tune it plays when it's finished, makes me laugh every time I hear it. It also has a large capacity, lets you know if it is overfull, and the turbo dry does really get the things close to dry. It took our queen size quil...Read more

I am very happy with the machine so far. It gives me peace of mind to have such a long warranty period. It washes very well and you have the option of an agitated wash for really dirty stuff or normal "front loader" wash with everyday clothes. I mainly use cold water anyway which is better for energy efficiency as it is rated on a normal warm cycle. Like I said, shop around. I got my machine $150 cheaper at JM, and no one else would match.
I brought the SW80USP. The filter inside is great, a lot of machines don't have a filter anymore so...Read more

Looks stylish, easy to use. Washes brilliantly. SO glad I chose this machine, so happy with it. I was very sad parting with my last machine which gave me 12 good years. But don't regret this purchase one bit. Very impressed.
Excellent value for money. 4 stare water rating $200 water rebate incentive reduce my final cost to $547. No agitator gives so much more room for quilts & blankets.
The lid quality is a bit of a let down. Doesn't seem sturdy enough compared to the rest of it. Its not very tough plastic. This is the only downside. But overlooked this due to all the pros.

I spent far too much time researching to the point where ‘Washing Machine’ became a banned word in our house. But I’m glad I did! I have always had a top loader so wanted another one but discovered that there really isn’t such a thing as a ‘water efficient’ top loader! Two weeks on, Samsung have not got back to me with answers to my questions regarding this machine. But I’m pretty sure the answers are as follows ... this machine gets a 4 star rating based on its ‘Water Saver’ program, this is achieved by cutting back during the rinse proces...Read more
s. Instead of a ‘deep’ rinse, you get a ‘spray’ rinse and therefore use a lot less water. I wouldn’t be happy running this program for most of my washes, I don’t think the rinsing effort would be adequate. Choice tested this machine using the ‘Fuzzy’ program which used a whopping 231L of water, compared to 79L for an equivalent load on ‘Water Saver’. They said they tested using this program ‘as it's usually the distinguishing feature on the model and so the likely reason for its purchase’. If this is the case then it should not be awarded a 4 star water rating. So if you are looking to save water consumption, be sure to take this into consideration. I would also question Samsungs inability to answer questions regarding the machine’s water consumption. If you really want to save water, take the plunge like I have and purchase a front loader, I’m really happy with it! Similar to what I had. Uses too much water!Similar opinion?
