Hi ol mate.
In the whole time ive had the machine iv'e never had any black crud anywhere inside the bowl, nor the rubber that surrounds the top of stainless bowl. Iv'e been lucky as it's always had tank/rain water in it n i use only liquid detergent.
So am.sorry, but i wouldnt even know what this black stuff looks like. Sounds like a mould.
Use cap of bleach & cup white vinigar once a month on a sanitation cycle.
Good luck with it.
My still going strong. (1 load per week)

when this happened to me my machine wasn't draining properly, I emptied as much water as I could out of the machine and at the back of the machine in the right bottom corner should be a opening,( you must screw it open) and I drained all left over water out to find that a single 5c peice was the problem it had gone through machine stopping at that point inturn disrupting its wash cycle. this could may well be the case if so good luck

the same thing happened to me ive had my machine for 7 years and 2 years ago it split. I changed it to the hot wash and have not had a problem since, with this aspect of the machine. online there is a page where you may purchase parts that you are after unsure as to what the site is called I just typed in parts for sw7....
Thank you for your response Tiffany, when you say you changed it to the hot wash do you mean that you now run the cold water through the hot water inlet valve & press the hot wash button or you just decided to use hot water instead of cold? Thank you.

What does the code 4E mean? There's no water coming out at the start of the cycle.

I found that by connecting cold water to both the hot and cold inlets and then running the machine on the hot/cold water option the machine works perfectly - I assume there may be a fault in the cold water inlet solenoid which I haven't touched/replaced
Thanks MickWilson I switched them over great fix!!!!

Hi
I have a sw65usp and the whole panel that holds the magic filter has come away from the side of the drum .i can see no way to put it back in place unless the rotator comes out first.is there a way to take this out and then fit the panel and then reset the rotator?

Sorry, I am not a washing machine mechanic - my previous correspondence was merely intended to highlight what appears to me to be an obvious lapse in quality control in the design of this product.

the slide out plastic tray for the washing powder does not seem to be getting water running through it properly at the end of a wash there is still dry powder in the tray?
1 answer
Hey Daniel, The only time I have found the there is washing powder left in the tray is if I use too much powder. Apparantley these washing machines work on the same principle as the front loaders and don't need much washing powder, even though they are top loaders. And when you buy washing powder, you need to buy the powder suitable for a FRONT LOADER.
Hope this helps...

My Samsung toploader washes, rinses and spins but the clothes are soaking wet. Water has pumped out of machine. Why is this happening?
3 answers
I am not sure why you are asking me this question! You need to contact someone that repairs washing machines. If your machine is still under warranty, then contact the retailer where you bought your machine from.
Sorry Judy, i'm not a washing machine technician but that seems strange. Spinning would remove the water from your clothes. Perhaps the pump is not fully getting rid of the water at the bottom or the macine has decided to do a spray rinse on spin? Warranty? Good luck.
Sorry Judy, I have not had this problem, but by the sound of your question, you need to ring up and get a Service for your machine,if under warranty ring the number in your manual otherwise ring someone who deals with washing machines.
Hope this is of assistance. Irene

My washing machine is not rinsing and spinning. Wat can i do?

That is not something that I can answer, you would have to get in touch with the manufacturer if under warrantry or a washing machine mechanic.
