Made it too hard to do a cert
the instructor was terrible and expected a lot more work than a university course - videos being edited etc, essays that are long and cumbersome just to do one small unit. Threatened to fail me and asked me to pay some significant dollars to re-sit. The worst experience possible. I also didnt think the lecturer was qualified to teach. If I had more time I would take this to the ASQA for a complaint.

Literally the worst experience with a course I have ever had. They cancelled my course and did not even contact me to inform me of this information. Admin proceeded to blame me for not logging into the portal to read the letters posted on there, even after I explained I had taken a couple of months off to give birth and have a operation mind you! Read morence my studies the site was ‘under maintenance’ so I had to ring up to find out why I could not access my course. Also having paid a very large extension fee I only got partly refunded and they refuse to provide evidence or a letter to show the course cancellation date? Still waiting for my course work to be sent out as most units were close to completion (have just rand for the 3rd time to request this) which I require to now commence the same course with another company. All in all avoid like the plague worst communication even throughout my course, lecturer left vague responses and made notes with no indication of which question needed to be reviewed and the experience of everything wasn’t very pleasant.- 5 reviews
Worst Course Ever
Purchased the course on scoopon for $700 (Diploma in Human Resources) and it was by far the worst course ever! I have a Bachelor Degree in Finance and Banking and never seen anything like this. The exams were terrible and the workload is enormous. In order to finish the course you need to spend 10-11 hours a day studying just for the exams. Many questions were ridiculous as you would need to be employed in human resources or marketing to solve them and give examples otherwise you wouldn't know what to do.. Read more700!! I was meant to record videos of myself and pretend colleagues showing us solving and making marketing plans and other nonsense as part of the exams! And that was only one the beginning. When I contact the school saying i was self employed and worked from my home office and couldn't do all this pretend plays I was told ' you have to do it is part of assignment', geez thanks I didn't know. Abusive staff, email harassment and threatening conduct - is this what you want from a training org?
I purchased one of SG's "specials" only to find that as the website had been ambiguous (which they denied despite me providing screenshots and their own pdf documents) and that subjects offered, were now not offered to online students and that they had changed the course work. Their customer service methodology is to be brusque, rude, ambivalent, threatening, and abusive, they refused to provide a refund for not supplying what was advertised (fortunately I'd paid via Paypal, who refunded my money without question once I'd provided the evidence...

I've made a formal complaint to DEEWR, ASQA and to Fair Trading with the evidence - emails and documents from SG that demonstrate their abuse and unfair and unreasonable conduct. If you sign up with these guys, be prepared for an ugly fight - their website says that in the event of a legal dispute, it will be resolved in their head office. Actually no, you have more legal rights than to be bullied by an RTO that is actually accountable to the various national authorities. Further, one of my employees undertook a training course with SG and the assignments were basically to cut and paste and reformat the learning materials into the assignment. Not quality training. Not satisfactory. Not a qualification or an institute I have any regard for considering how easy it was for that person to obtain a Cert IV with minimal effort. Very poor quality Diploma of Counselling course
This course is absolutely terrible. I have two university degrees and was very disappointed with the quality of this course. Firstly, the questions in each module were worded as though the person writing them had no proficiency in English. I could barely understand the meaning of each question as words were often missing or jumbled up. It looked as though questions had been copied and pasted from another source. I have asked staff if the dual qualification of counselling and community service includes mental illness alcohol and other drugs as that is my passion but I haven't got a response back I mean I can't always answer my phone as I am busy with work but I mean I am very interested in this course. I have checked my emails but nothing yet.
