I was so happy to receive a full refund direct to my bank account for flights that could not be taken with Scoot due to Coronavirus. The process was also very straightforward, much easier than it was trying to sort out all other aspects of my cancelled trip. So thank you Scoot for getting this right at a time when I really do need the money.

wish singapore airlines would stop code share with scoot.
Happy to pay the bit extra, than to deal with scoot staff. Worlds apart, any complaints they pretend to go through the process but nothing gets done

Absolute Scam - Would rate zero If I could
I booked a flight earlier this year and it got cancelled with no available options to reschedule. When asking for a refund, I did not even get the full amount I paid for and even then, the process took so long. Now I have to pay even more to book another ticket because they cannot reschedule the flight. It's an absolute scam.

I had a booking for my partner traveling Manila to Perth on 20/03/20. The ticket was purchased via Cebu and included the scoot flight from Singapore to Perth.
The Cebu flight was canceled from Manila to Singapore due to COVID 19.
I got a refund from Cebu for the leg Manila to Sing - NO PROBLEMS OR ARGUMENT - Thank you CEBU.

around and around until finally I got a response from Scoot saying I would have to apply for a refund through Alliance. Alliance do not deal with the general public via phone, email or any other media. In fact their website states to go back to the airline you used to purchase,...so no help at all. Long story short, these cheap alternative airlines use Alliance as a "booking agent". The airline is paid whether you show up, no show, flight cancelled...whatever. They will keep your money and there is no avenue to get it back. DO NOT USE SCOOT AIRWAYS EVER. If you pay them money and your circumstances change through an airline imposed cancellation or reschedule you will never get a refund period. Would have thought this is illegal for a transaction considering the flight was cancelled by there partner so I had no way of utilizing the fare even if I wanted to. SHAME ON SCOOT AND ALLIANCE - Given the circumstances of COVID-19 you should be doing the right thing and refunding your customers for Cancelled flights.

Keeping money for a cancelled flight for months!
We booked a flight from Melbourne to Bangkok via Singapore back in December (N7HB2Z). A week before our flight I logged in to choose seats and the flight had been cancelled and we had been moved to a flight two days later. There was no email or text to notify us at all! I had to call scoot to confirm and was offered a refund. They said it would take 5 weeks to process. the refund couldn't be processed. Yet again, no email to let me know. The person on the phone checked my email address was correct, it was. So no excuse there. Then she told me she would process the refund manually and it would take FOURTEEN WEEKS from today. So for a flight cancelled on March 9th, I should have a refund by July 30th. What an absolute joke! I imagine I'll call back in 14 weeks time and there will be another problem delaying it again. Scoot has been incredibly unhelpful and they are cheating people out of their money. Four months is an absolutely ridiculous amount of time to process a refund. Will never fly Scoot and will be sure to recommend people avoid this scam of an airline in the future.Similar opinion? No refunds as they cancelled the flight timing except the voucher what if I hv no travel plans as corona virus is spreading but they forcefully want u to travel in voucher validity n u pay the difference too, they don't understand situations but I have wasted my money around $1600

Flew to Singapore with Scoot from Sydney the flight over was fine. Have flown with them before, a run of the mill budget carrier.
Was supposed to fly onto a third country with another airline and then home to Sydney. Due to Corona virus we cancelled and booked an early return flight with Scoot.
We were pushed onto the online app which we used to book with scoot. Received constant updates with scoot offering us upgrades, food purchases etc, up to the day before the flight, the app which we were using said the flight was going ahead and still do...Read more

I have tried contacting scoot from Australia, I was on hold for nearly 2 hours- no answer. I have my flights booked for travel at the end of this month (March) and now can't travel because of COVID 19 pandemic. What about refunding my money that I paid

What's going on Scoot?
I have flights booked to Athens depart June 2020 return Aug 2020.
Scoot emailed me saying I can change the flight dates.
I thought that was a good idea due to Carona virus, & tried to book the same flights/dates for next year.
Scoot have no flights available anytime in 2020 & 2021. All scoot call centre can tell me is wait for 2 months & maybe flights will become available.

Pathetic Client Experience
Only Pro is the low price - Everything else is an added extra - I booked a flight via SIngapore Air & Scoot re-scheduled it with 1 day transit @ Singapore . I requested for a refund & still waiting for a credit after 8 weeks . Such a shame . Highly recommend booking some other airline paying extra $ . Code sharing with Scoot is one of the worst decisions made by Singapore airlines in their history .

No Refund and very bad customer service

Scoot rescheduled my flight and they gave me three options which is good but they ask me to redeem any of these options by self service online portal under manage my bookings, When I access "Manage Booking" section there is no way to get the refund of that rescheduled flight. So I called the customer care number (after waiting for long hours before connecting to service desk agent) and they mention that refund can be processed but it will take 5 weeks time (which is ridiculous) how can I book my alternate flight meanwhile. Over three months and yet to receive a refund
Fraud company. Avoid using it.
Scoot rescheduled my flight in Dec 2022. The new time didn't work for me so I chose the refund option. On Scoot's website, it says the refund will be due in 30 business days.
I rang them three times after i was supposed to receive the refund. Each time they promised it should arrive my account within two weeks.
Now it's over 3 months. I'm yet to receive the refund.
They wasted my time, lied to me and owe me interest on the refund.
Very frastruting!

Scoot did not inform me on time
There was a restriction on my travelling capacity, which was issued 4 days prior to my flight. The airline could have informed me, so I could take appropriate actions, but they didn't. They just offered a full refund at the airport, when checking in, for wasting my time and money.

Do not plan your holiday with Scoot.
This is my note to Scoot airlines after I have realized that my CONFIRMED itinerary has been changed by Scoot without notifying me. Writing to my junk mail is not a notification as I do not check or read junk mail.
To keep the story short: Scoot canceled our flight and put us on the nearest flight seven hours later.
In short, Scoot put me on the flight which is going to arrive in Bangkok one day later with 18! hours of a stopover in Singapore from 1 am.

Inedible food
Preordered the chicken fried rice from PERTH to Singapore. Cost was $17 AUD. It was honestly the worst food I have ever been served in my entire life. It was cold and the congealed, grey rice was glued together in one large lump. Come on Scooties, you can do a lot better than this.

Unexpected reschedule
Horrible experience even after filing grievance scoot changed my return flight schedule all of sudden it has been postponed to next we have spoke more 20 times there is no solution never ever fly with scoot. The reschedule is not because of corona virus, one of the reps confirmed it

The call centre terrible, I don't think they have anything to do with Scoot anyway. Rescheduling of flights etc (even in light of the Corona virus) expensive or impossible. $600 wasted, horribly disappointed. Won't do it again.

About Check-In
The Perth ground manager of scoot is ridiculous. We were only 5 minutes late and the check-in was closed. We were not allowed to check-in. We literally bagged as we are international students and the tickets were non-refundable. The worst experience to date with any airlines. I would never book again and will recommend you not to book with scoot. Air Asia, Garuda and others are way far better than this cheap airline.

Ridiculous fees for change of dates
Do not travel on this Airline as if you want to change your travel dates like i did due to the Coronavirus you might as well buy another ticket as their fees are astronomical and they will charge you a processing fee again which they charged when you first booked

Sorry about late answer if you don’t have a connecting flight only other stop on the online check in is if you book through an agent if that isn’t the case sorry I cannot see any reason for non online check in
