Even though the motor is on the ceiling the noise level is too great at speeds 3 and 4. I paid good money for it both to buy and to install. Just sad. I hope the company can to something to rectify this great annoyance. If not take it back and give a refund.

Very happy with this purchase. I had been doing a bit of research into range hoods, & decided to purchase a Sirius brand. A friend of mine has one & is happy with hers. This one is a quality product, its quiet and efficient with a good extraction rate. Price also reasonable. I would recommend getting it professionally installed

After doing a far bit of research on rangehoods, I decided to go with Sirius. The airflow seems to be much higher than the other brands for similar prices, and the product looked slimline and clean for a canopy rangehood. I bought mine from Domayne and was impressed by the demonstration they provided of having the motor installed away from the rangehood, and how this diverted the sounded of the motor about 10 meters from the actual rangehood. I am still waiting for the rangehood to arrive and be installed, and will give an update after I've had it in action in the kitchen for a few weeks.

The style and workmanship of this product is great. Make sure you use the Sirius Ducting system for easy installation. Super quiet while cooking which makes it ore enjoyable to use. Price is very reasonable for what you get. Harvey Norman is the place to buy it from as the workers are there to help you.

We have installed this rang hood in our community kitchen. The external motor makes it quieter with greater efficiency in extracting cooking vapours. Cleaning is a breeze and the unit is very sleek and attractive to the eye.

We recently purchased this rangehood with SEM1 motor because of our open plan kitchen/dining area. We can carry on a conversation standing beside the cooktop with the motor on 4!! Our old rangehood - we could not even hear the TV in the adjoining dining area. Cooking smells - very low. This is excellent since one family member is especially effected by cooking odour.
Efficient, quiet, stylish, easy to instal, value for money

This range hood looks sleek and is powerful. It draws up the steam/odours leaving the room not as smelly as the old range hood. Am pleased that it does the job expected of it but is not as quiet as I was expecting. We had been told that it was very quiet especially with the motor being placed outside. Overall we are happy with it as it does work well.

We are thrilled with this range hood. It is very efficient at clearing cooking vapors and smells. Having the external motor means it is so much quieter than previous range hoods we've had, a plus in our open plan living area.Is easy to keep clean, no grease catching ridges like our last one. And it looks great.
