I have to say I was disappointed after Solomons flooring was recommended, the sales rep was good with appointments but once the money was deposited it was hard to get in contact but preferred sms than a call.

They installed the new flooring over the carpet under layer of which I believe is a big no no, and now the floor feels soft and cheap, this was the main reason I removed the old flooring because if the bad install and now I'm back to where I started.

A few wrinkles appeared in our main bedroom nearly five years after being purchased from Daniel, owner of Solomons Flooring in Willetton. Even though it was no longer covered by warranty, Daniel arranged for the carpet to be stretched at no cost to me. Very happy and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone looking for advice and a wide range of well priced, quality carpets.

Unhappy with the service. The Hybrid floor boards shown during the display was different. It was a small piece and we thought it will be the same throughout. However, when installed, it looks ugly because it as black knots(which is not present in the display sample shown during the booking). It is deceiving. The charm and happiness of moving into our first house was ruined. Very disappointing.

Don't believe the sales person. Ask them to show a large piece of sample.

The guys at Stanmore were so helpful. I changed the instal day and they were accomodating. They were perfectionists. Very happy with the work that they did. I highly recommend.

It took two weeks to complete a day's job as carpet layer was working elsewhere when he was booked in for us. plus they forgot the carpet for the stairs as well.
Second guy did stairs with not very thick underlay which I found out by walking on bare feet and feeling nails in my feet plus carpet on stairs coming away.
Too be honest for a cost of $3800 to have to call again and again and still get shoddy service i think its time for consumer affairs to check them out.

I hired Solomons Stafford to install vinyl planks, but they didn't install them properly and the planks came loose off the floor. There was basically no adhesive sticking them down. After inspecting the floor they refused to admit to faulty installation and instead made the ridiculous claim that there had been a flood in my apartment and the planks had come loose due to water damage. This was complete nonsense, there had been no flood, they only claimed this to avoid refunding me.

Visited showroom on Sunday. While the only staff member was with other customers, he didn’t even acknowledge or greets. After 20 minutes of being totally ignored, we left the store and will take our business else where.

Jay went above and beyond in these covid times with liaising with the body cooperate of our building, the landlord & the letting agent. He has the patience of a saint as it was very difficult going between these three with between covid safe plans and acoustics of carpet lol but Jay sorted everything in highly professional and timely manner. We ordered flooring 10months ago. It was scheduled to be installed Monday. We went to the house and waited for them, did not arrive. They rang and said they will install it the next day Tuesday. We waited again Tuesday, did not arrive. Called a few times and said they will arrive lunch time or in the afternoon and will stay overtime just to start the flooring. Plz do your market research before you go there. Once you sign the papers you are trapped. You will have to pay for at least 10% extra material and labour. Very poor quality finishing. They will fail to maintain schedule and will charge you $650 if you want to cancel the job because they failed to maintain schedule

The contractor had to come back again to put scotia along bottom of walls. He also failed to wipe up excess glue when he did a join in middle of a room - there were smears and it was quite wide in parts along the join - disappointed at this lack of care and attention for an expensive job. It is very hard to remove after the event, and visible when overhead lights are on - .

I have tried to live with these vinyl planks for almost 12 months and the more I live with them the angrier I get. Some planks don't meet up properly, some aren't even stuck down. The edges don't meet the skirting boards cleanly and some have been cut too far into the plank but glued down anyway. I decided to do a room by myself and honestly mine is better than the 'professional' job. I'm a teacher and have never done anything like that before.
The job was quoted to take 3 days and it took over a week. Terrible and I hate it, lay it yourself is my advice

Rudolph and Jeanette were a pleasure to deal with, very helpful and the job was done to perfection. I have a very busy schedule and they were happy to accommodate this.

We have recently done our bedroom floor with hybrid vinyl. We are extremely happy with the results. The sevice was excellent, and affordable. We do highly recommend Solomans flooring team.

Rudolph was wonderful to deal with and great at problem solving . We had an old / irregular flooring which was originally to have vinyl planking but was unsuitable due to irregularities. Rudolph helped sort out plan B within a budget and offered a well priced alternative. His after sales service regarding a small issue was also promptly. Professional service - how refreshing :)

Very happy with the result. Our carpet was installed less than a week after we made our selection. Allen was accommodating with the in-home measure and quote. Would definitely go to Solomon's again for any future flooring and carpet needs.

Marvellous advice from Dandenong Solomon’s colour perfect. Installation brought forward and installer did a fantastic job despite our rather challenging original floor. Thank you for excellent service and delivery. Great in these challenging times.

Purchased carpet and confirmed installation date. Took time off work for installation. Installers never arrived. Unable to get in contact with them. Claimed they lost the carpet but didn't bother to let me know. They had to reorder carpet (but then found original order). Didn't show up again for second booking. Unable to get in contact with them again. Installation was average. They had to come back again to fix it. Total incompetence.

Recently replaced all flooring in the house using carpet and hybrid. Ahjmal at Castle Hill was very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. Installation completed in 2 days and the tradespeople moved most of the furniture. Could not be happier with the result.

Good staff, good service and good price, plus excellent clean and tidy carpet layers. They arrived on time and and did their job and moved the large furniture around with the minimum of fuss

The underlay and carpet are absolutely stunning. It is like walking on velvet. So plush and a beautiful colour. I changed my laying date 3 times and they were so understanding and flexible. I couldn't recommend Solomons more highly. They lay the carpet perfectly and cleaned up after themselves. I have rarely had the pleasure of dealing with such a professional company.
