Hi trying to help a pensioner frien his tv switches on Sonia flashes on screen 3or4 bells no picture has sound
Every time I set a show to tape nothing works. It shows up as scheduled to tape but isn't there the next day. Any ideas on what the problem could be. It has always worked before.

Read morethe price of the board and then several months later the TV started to have the same issues again. It sounds like Soniq TVs are still doing it according to all the comments listed above. Basically stay away from Soniq TVs unless you get one cheap and are prepared to bin it when it fails. My tv still works to this day Feb2020 and I bought it way back in approx 2005 so not a bad run really considering it still has the off/on fault.

When trying to watch movies off a usb hard drive can't get the picture to full size. It stays on the folders page and shows a small picture box with info i.e. picture size, data size etc.
