Class Leading Noise Cancelling Headphones
I bought these after buying a JBL pair of noise canceling headphones and the difference is night and day. These provide a great light comfortable fit and i have slept with them on the plane without issue. Noise cancelling is very good and sound quality is excellent, and the design is beautiful with gold highlights giving a classy look. Cannot recommend these enough for anyone in the market for noise cancelling headphones.

Best noise cancelling headphones
100% satisfied, these are the best pro type wireless noise cancelling Bluetooth headphones. They are light weight. There battery long last around 30 hours. Quality is outstanding. They are designed at there best. The sound quality is outstanding. All functions are awesome but the noise calling works perfectly the headphones you can trust.

better than Bose
Just got back from JB Hifi where I tested noise cancelling feature Bose QC 35 II and Sony wh-1000xm3. Compared them side by side, with no music playing.
Bose is not even close to the almost complete Sony's sound isolation!
I had my $80 Taotronic 022 with me, and Bose was only about 15-20% better in terms of noise blocking....And Sony was like WOW THAT IS INSANE. Almost complete silence.
No competition here, at all.
I went away with Sony (matched price with Addicted to Audio) $398

Love the touch function on earpiece
So I had straight away put the SONY to the off-road test at the gym on my cardio days. The silence when you put them on is deafening (pardon the pun). The blaring speakers at the gym are only a faint whisper once the active Noise cancelling kicks on. So tested it on my podcasts which is a good indicator of outside noise cancelation and the speech simply engulfs your ears with very very minimal outside noise (when on an elliptical trainer 10 ft away from the huge wall mounted JBL gym speakers). Tested them with songs on and there is Zero externa...Read more
l sounds anymore. Technology features are loaded and my favourite is the touchpad on the outside of the earpiece. Simple swipes up/down for volume and left/right for track changes and answering phone calls makes it's use akin to a phone screen. No learning needed. Cup the earpiece with your hand and noise cancelation stops and you can hear external noises. For example when there is an announcement at Airports/Train Stations or if someone is talking to you. Simply cup the ear and you can hear everything like you're not wearing a headphone (smart!). The Sony App, which you need to download is a really nice user friendly one too with a myriad of options for things like Atmospheric Pressure (Like if you are on a plane, it adapts to that!), and options to change the tone and even the ability to control where the sounds comes from (you can make the sound come from about 6 points virtually, making any song sound like a 7D song). I'm not a fan of making sound come from other areas except my right and left year so, don't really play with that setting. I'm a sucker for Bass Boost and the SONY 1000MX3 spoils me for choices. Mellow, Bright, Relaxed, Treble, Bass Boost, Speech,Custom settings if you like and the list goes on, and the Bass is incredible in any mode. I have re-listened to old songs and picked up instruments I never noticed before. Again, all settings are on the App and that where a good App is important for that experience. This is again something like FITBIT who beat their competition simply on a better, user friendly App. There is a google assistant feature as well. But I don't care about asking google where the nearest pizza shop is while walking? I don't use that feature, why eat up battery for being lazy. This is the first time that Sony has pipped Bose QCII 35 at the post. 10 Hours more battery life than QC35, loaded with features like swipe and noise un-canceling(cupping the ear) are outstanding innovations which gave them the #1 ranking last year. Can't comment on battery life (30 hours claim) yet, I have used it for 3 weeks now and I'm yet to re-charge it. Love the fact that there are no wires (yep they are wireless), especially when doing lateral pull-downs and working it on the elliptical trainer, no wires in the way. Another great thought they incorporated is the bigger ear pieces, I have big ears and also weird shaped inner ears that don't hold normal earphones in. My ears fit snug into these, and my glasses also stay put as the headphones close around the head. No review is complete without talking about the negatives. My only complaint really is (and this is when using them on my Cardio days at the gym), they make my ears sweat and I have to take them off every 30 minutes, wipe the dripping sweat(on ears and the earpiece) and put them back on. This problem is non existent with normal use.

Bit disappointed with phone call quality.
Very impressive noise cancelling, however, touch control and phone call quality disappointing.
Touch control is a bit hit and miss, performance of microphone during phone calls was the reason I gave it 4 stars.
Since I bought these from Amazon, I have the opportunty to return them till the end of January. Not sure at this stage that I will keep them. By the way, I paid $399 for them.

Good experience of immersion but..
great noise canceling.
But The product is a bit heavy, when i listen in my room or in my bed, thats when i find it uncomfortable. not made for sports, or running.
another annoying point is when you leave the headphone on your neck, your cheek is touching the pad and starts to shuffle music when you dont want to.
the last bad point is that is to hard to connect to two separate devices at different time,
for example, when i pair it with my laptop, and a want to switch it with my cell phone, i have to turn off the Bluetooth from the laptop first. which is annoying if you have it a bit away from your range.

Pretty good but my podcast listening experience isn't as glowing as most of the other reviews. Might
I purchased these headphones after a work colleague recommended them and then i had a look at several online reviews and comparisons with the Bose QC35 and the Sennheiser PXC550

to block outside noise. However, I found that I had to turn the volume too high to understand what was being said on my podcasts and my ears were starting to ring after using them for which I understand is not a good sign. Time to look for alternatives before I screw-up my hearing. I love wearing wireless headphones as it frees you from a cord getting snagged on something or having to roll them up when not in use. The convenience and freedom of going wireless with headphones far outweighs any quality degradations or audio lag when compared to corded headphones for me. I have been a big fan on Sennheiser as we regularly use and have been incredibly impressed with the sound quality and build construction of the Sennheiser RS 120 II. These are great watching for TV in the living room which is adjacent to the kids bedrooms so they can rest without TV noise interrupting their sleep.Similar opinion? SONY Makes the Best Even Better
Sony has been nipping at the heels of the Bose Quiet Comfort for the last few years. Some critics have now put them ahead. (To be fair, both brands make excellent noise cancelling headphones) I had a pair of the MDR 1000X but was quite keen to try the new upgrade. Yes they're excellent, as promised by reviews I'd read. Absolute silence on a 'plane or a noisy gym. An added bonus is the switch to the new Type C charging cable which is much better for convenience and speed. You can also add a cable, if necessary for wired listening.

Good headphones for travel or the office
These headphones tick a lot of boxes, and I've found them to be great for travel (airplane/train/bus) as well as use in the office.
Sound quality:
Excellent, particularly if you have an aptX enabled bluetooth device. Clear audio, with a bit more bass than other headphones I've used, even more-so when the noise cancelling is enabled. Note, you can enable this on a Macbook Pro and it makes a big difference if you have a Mac.
Noise cancelling:
As good as the Bose QC25 I had used previously, but these Sony headphones are wireless so a lot m...Read more

Sony wh-1000xm3 Poor Service and Communication, Phone Sound sucks
I bought the headphone (Sony wh-1000xm3) from Harvey Norman Caringabh NWS. Though ANC was the best but voice on the phone was terrible. Whenever I started dialing, the outside noise amplifies 2, 3 times that I had to bear but the person on the other end of the phone wouldnt hear anything or would barely hear me. Sometimes the other end would complain 'ringing bells' around me. I had to be very very loud to be hearable.
I called the Sony Customer Center, they advised to take it to Harvey Norman. I took it Harvey Norman they took it ( saying d...Read more

Best on the market for overall spec
I've owned these for about 2 months now and they're amazing. The ANC is next level and better than the Bose in my opinion. I can wear them in a loud gym and they block all the other noise out. I've only experience a couple of small issues which are related to using them with my TV, they can glitch in sound every now and then, but that could be a TV playback issue too. Can't go past the battery life for these, i charge them about once every 2 weeks.

May be good but does not work on all of my devices, just some
I was expecting something better from Sony and seriously for the price, these headphones are not reliable. OUt of my 5 devices, I could only connect and run it on my laptop. When I connect to the All in one computer with a big screen that I wanted to use to watch content everything freezes and also takes time to connect. It is not a thing for everyone and does not work on all devices.

Awful phone call quality/ poor app.
Purchased Sony wh-1000xm3 headphones last weekend from jbhifi, so after a week of use here is my review.
Sound quality is excellent, noise cancelling is very good, build quality seems to be adequate so far, comfort is very good.
One glaring fault with these headphones is making phone calls, a function of the headphones that is important to me, every call I have made the other party says I sound like I'm in an echo chamber and background noise is way too much, to the point that they asked me to call back not using the headphones, also the ap...Read more

Great Noise Cancelling
Upgraded from Bose QC15, was tossing between this and the Bose QC35II. Overall, the noise cancelling was superior than the Bose and got better features such as cupping the R cup and instantly let ambient sounds in especially voices. Comfort wise, Bose still is lighter and slightly more comfortable.
Overall, very happy with the purchase, but if have already had the Bose QC35II I wouldn't upgrade to this since there's not too much difference between the two.

Probably the best NC headphones money can buy
Improvements on the previous model.
Comfort is much better. I can wear for hours now.
A bit better sound
Touch control much better. Will now only activate with touch. No more accidental activation when rubbed against any surface like what happens with the M2.
App is better with NC timing.
Voice notification tell actual battery percentage remaining. Not just high, medium low.
The same as previous model.
