Amazing product
These headphones have amazing build quality. I wear them while on public transport or while walking. The sound quality is top notch with nice heavy bass (which you can modify using the app).
These have the standard bluetooth 'issues' where it can only be connected to one device at a time however if you manually try to connect to the headphones, it's easy to swap them around.

Great NC headphones, as long as you don't take calls with 'em
my first premium headphone. I was a bit apprehensive to spend so much on a headphone but now I am glad I did. The noise cancellation is pretty awesome and there is nothing to complain about the sound quality. I like my songs with extra bass and the headphone delivers on it. The build is pretty solid and feels premium.
But a couple of pet peeves...
1. Ears get warm with prolonged use
2. The voice guidance completely mutes the audio which can be very annoying when you are on a call and the headphone changes profile.
Edit: I was so awestruck wit...Read more
h these that I never bothered to check how these performed for phone calls and I was more than disappointed to see that it sucks. It sucks so bad that I don't use them for calls anymore. If taking calls is with these are a priority I would advise you to steer clear of these.

Poor manufacturing quality, they will only last 3 months and customer service is non existent
I would not ever recommend these to anyone, they are cheaply made with cheap pieces of plastic joining the band to the cups. I have seen all over the internet of this manufacturing defect, and they basically offered me to buy a new set for $320, invest your money in Bose its a lot safer.

Great sound and very comfortable
Noise cancellation is great, even if you are not listening to music etc.
The only downsides is the headphones don't save your EQ settings from the app and you can only have 1 device paired to them over bluetooth, so it is a bit of a pain switching between PC and phone.

Great sound quality. But a bit too heavy for me.
Great sound. Great Bluetooth connection. No issue with the product. I'm just not very used to wear a relative heavy headset for a long time. I prefer the in-ear ones. Just personal choice.

Excellent Noise Cancellation
I purchased these after considering the Bose QCII and watching several YouTube reviews and determining these were the best in class. They are excellent! They sound great and isolate virtually all surrounding noise. I price matched Amazon's deal and purchased them at JB HIFI for $400 in February this year for a flight and to use during my uni semester. I have used them a lot more than expected! I mostly use them to listen to Audible, Spotify and YouTube, but movies and games sound great too. They have worked well on flights, in noisy rooms and e...Read more
ven while mowing the lawn. I highly recommend these headphones. The battery life is excellent and even with daily use, I only charge them every few weeks. My only frustration is the lack of dual Bluetooth connectivity. When I want to disconnect from my Mac and listen on my iPad, iPhone or PC, I must turn off the headphones, turn them back on and hold the connection button - a process that takes all of about 30 seconds but feels unnecessary when compared to more seamless initiatives from Apple's AirPods or even Bose's QC series. If this frustration is eliminated in the next model, I will consider upgrading, however I expect these headphones to otherwise last me quite some time.Purchased in February 2021 at JB Hi-Fi Retail Stores for A$399.00.

Premium Sound and ANC
My first go with a Premium Headphone. Although I owned three headphones previously with three different brands, namely: Jabra, Beats, Sennheiser, these models weren't top of the line.
Hence, this critical review of my Sony WH1000XM3. After several years of waiting and searching for a new pair of headphone.
Sony’s WH1000XM3 offering made it so easy to be the king of ANC’s (Active Noise Cancelling) and it's sound.

Work, Play, Walk - Anywhere headphones
Bought a two sets of these, one for myself and one for my girlfriend, and we both love them. Sound quality is really good and the noise cancellation is probably the best on the market right now (as of time of writing the Bose 700 headphones are still unreleased, so we'll see how they stack up).
They are super light and very comfy. I use them for Xbox (gaming) which paired with a mod mic is the ultimate gaming set up, they last for 8 hours straight gaming and a convenient 15min charge give you an hour if need to be.

Best noise cancelling headphones on the market
Had the Bose QC-35 II before getting this and always had sizing troubles as it was too tight and hurt after extended use. Was not the same with the WH1000XM3 as it is much more comfortable to use. Noise cancelling is by far the best on the market. Only thing missing is aptX and LDAC support.

Great headphones with heaps of awesome features
Bought these about 3 months ago and am absolutely loving them. When I first tried out the XM3’s I actually didn’t enjoy the sound as it was too bass heavy, whereas I like a nice balanced sound. I ended up trying them out with some custom EQ curves and they sounded a lot better so I thought I’d buy them and see how they performed with the companion app.
Once I set the headphones up with the app, and spent a few hours tuning the sound to my personal taste (scooping out a lot of the bass) and now they sound phenomenal!
Every sound is so crisp a...Read more
nd detailed and the noise cancelling is unreal. I use these at work and on the train and I can’t hear anything around me once the noise cancelling is active and music is playing. The battery life is fantastic - I’ve only charged them maybe 4 times since I bought them and the rapid charge is super helpful. Hear through is a great feature, especially at work or at the station, as I can hear what someone is saying to me/what an announcement is without taking the headphones off. I’ve tested many headphones and own some very nice studio-grade cans, and these blow almost all of them out of the water. I cannot recommend them highly enough.Purchased in May 2021 at JB Hi-Fi for A$395.00.

Amazing! Wish I bought them sooner
I absolutely love my headphones. I suffer from Misophonia and these headphones have made my stress levels around that soooo much better. I couldn't believe at first how effective they are at blocking noises, especially the bass sounds that just drive me crazy if someone nearby is playing loud music.
I find them really helpful when I'm working and need to concentrate. I just pop these on, with the noise cancelling on but no sound playing through and I just don't get anywhere near as distracted.

Love Them!
I was looking for a new set of headphones after I was tired of my Sennheiser cables always failing over time.
I tried it in store before buying, and loved the touch sensor for the music controls. It's definitely not necessary but a fun little feature.
I would say the sound quality is maybe a tiny step down from my previous pair, but it's not really noticeable. Perhaps I was expecting a little more for the price. I'd recommend if possible giving them a go with your own music before purchasing.
And boy does this thing know how to noise-cancel! I love it. They're getting pretty popular, so if you take public transport be prepared for some little nods here or there.

Great headphones, excellent noise cancelling
I've purchased a bunch of headphones for our family to test and use flying overseas.
These by far have the best noise cancelling of any i could find to try
Better than the Bose QC35 and the Sennheisers. Both of which I will review.
There were some reviews online that said the gestures didn't work in the cold. I tried here in the mornings when it was 4 and 5 degrees ( C ) .. Maybe it needs to be colder. The gestures worked fine. No problem.

An excellent pair of headphones, *if* you're able to get a pair without manufacturing issues.
The Sony XM3 are a high quality pair of headphones. The sound quality of the headphones are excellent. I didn't find the bass to be unnaturally high, I thought the sound profile was quite balanced out of the box. You can of course make excellent tweaks with the Sony Headphones Connect App, which are superior to Bose's, just because of that built-in EQ functionality alone.
The active noise-cancelling technology in these cans is amazing. The ANC is able to effectively block out continuous noise in the environment (public transport, the drone of ...Read more
traffic, etc). It isn't so effective with human voices, but is able to muffle them out reasonably well so you can still hear your music without needing to turn it up to compensate. You can also choose to reintroduce various levels of ambient noise while ANC is on, so it's very customisable. I've found the headphones to be quite comfortable, but just up to about 2-3 hours. At this point I find the headband pressure on my head to be noticeable, so I will need to take a break. I haven't noticed any 'clamping' effect on my ears. Ears can become a bit sweaty though, as these are closed-back headphones. Not uncomfortable though, just a little warm. Connectivity is good with these headphones. Bluetooth works perfectly on my Android & Windows devices. You can't connect to more than 1 device like the Bose QC35 II's, though. Range is also decent, although I have experienced a couple of drop-outs on occasion. Unfortunately with these headphones, at this price point (RRP AUD$500+), I've personally found that there is quite a lot of manufacturing variance present. The first pair I bought had a balance issue, where the right earcup was about 10% louder than the left, consistently. After I returned them and received my new, current pair, I had a new problem. The left earcup started making a static, popping sound while powered on, intruding quite noticeably onto the listening experience. This should not be happening on a pair of headphones that retail for such a high price. For this reason, I've removed 2 stars. If you get a pair without any manufacturing problems, they are currently the best noise-cancelling headphones you can buy right now.Purchased in March 2021.

Best noise cancelling headphones imo well worth it
Sony WH1000XM3 are the best noise cancelling headphones imo. Sounds great with pretty much everything and more bass than the Bose. They are also very durable, comfortable and the noise cancellation is top notch. Highly recommend these. However can't connect to more than one device at the same time.

Wont fly without these headphones
I have used these headphones on flights and they are worth its weight in gold. Flying has become less of a chore with these cancelling out all the ambient noise.
Very comfortable but can get hot after a few hours of listening. The touchpad is very convenient but can sometimes misread a swipe if you do it diagonally (no fault of the headphones).
I would highly recommend these.

Best headphones I ever worn
This headphone is the best one that I have ever used. Sound quality is great! The app is awesome too. It detects whether I am walking or not and change the ANC according to it.
The ANC is by far the best compared to other headphones. Just covering the right side cause outside noise to flow through so you can hear what other people are talking.
It has a long battery life as well, though I never tested the full 25h. My daily usage is about 6h. And I only charge it once every 4 to 5 days.
