I made an order last fortnight
I ordered nearly $100 worth of stuff,
Just before i clicked to pay- i had an incoming call, so i pressed frantically, for it to say : payment error,
I finished the call, to check my bank if it went through, sure it did,
But i had no reciept of any kind, apart form where the money went to: (horsham, Victoria spotlight)
I rang them but they cant do anything, customer care can..
Messaged them sent a photo of my bank statement.
No followup email..
Nothing..
Should i wait longer, or massage again..

Perhaps it is time to alert the ACC to these practices. It is, after all, illegal to trade while insolvent. The failure to make the promised return calls (4 times) makes me very suspicious.

Hi Alison. Did you have any luck in getting rid of the bad smell. I had custom made blockout curtains made from Spotlight and they smell very bad. So disappointing.

I have some curtains that I purchased some time ago. I recently decided to use them and hung them in position. The most horrible, strong, chemical smell overtook the whole room, and even seemed to come into the next room. It took a day or two of warm weather for it it to reach a peak. I am concerned as to what chemical may cause this odour, and what are the repercussions to children's health in particular, once exposed to this? I have since taken them down, soaked them in the washing machine overnight, washed them the next day and left them in the sun. I then hung them in a shaded position for three days.
They have been ironed and returned to their hanging position and the smell while less is still obvious.
