Great investment
We purchased this product due to recommendations from Choice Magazine. We've had our trampoline for around 4 years and it has been a fabulous investment. The kids love it still. It is a very safe trampoline that is extremely durable. while one of the more expensive options as far as trampolines go, there is no question that it is definitely worth the additional outlay. We've had no safety incidents to speak of and we'll never need to replace it (unless we decide we want a larger model, but this one is sufficient and suits our yard). Would definitely recommend this product.

Love it!
We love our Springfree Trampoline! It is great quality and even though we got the small compact one there is plenty of room for our little girl to jump and play! Would highly recommend! I would also recommend installation as we did struggle with the strength required to put it together

Great trampoline
great trampoline, very sturdy. i have two boys, 10 and 5 yo. they love the trampoline, jump on it everyday. Assembly has a bit of issue, since they don't give clear instructions on the video they provided.

Amazing Trampoline
Springfree Trampolines are truelly amazing. We bought one for our children for xmas back in 2006, at the time my eldest was 2.5 and youngest 6 months old. After all this time it is still in good condition. Our girls have had years of fun and as a parent we have not been concerned about there safety and worry of broken bones. Even our dog jumps up the ladder and runs flat out around it for about 2 minutes at a time. So not only does it still wear the kids out it wears the dog out also. Even Hubby loves to grab a doona and sneak out on dusk and look up at the stars...

Absolutely crap
I admit I bought second hand supposed to 3 years old.
The rods an absolute nightmare to get in as the rod holders always moving around out of place.
I regret my decision on buying this product and advise other parents to stay away.
The price of the product does not match the quality of the product.

Spoiled by dodgy materials
Good design spoiled by inferior materials. Plastic sheath (designed to protect the fibreglass rods) break down in sunlight! Not really visible for 18 months to 2 years but then rapidly the sheaths fall apart making a horrible mess of thousands of ugly plastic splinters and pieces over a long period - a pain to clean up, awful to look at and bad for the environment. The exposed fibreglass then starts deteriorating rapidly meaning intensely itchy and stinging fibreglass splinters any time you are close to it. The kids are reluctant to use it, alw...Read more
ays getting itchy stings. The rods continue to fragment and new rods cost a fortune, way too much - the whole trampoline becomes a messy, itchy, expensive and environmentally toxic mistake. Yet more landfill! Despite the sheath material being not fit for purpose (and the zips failing very quickly), Springfree (very arrogantly I have to add) will not make it right. The material (not fit for purpose from day one) breaks down completely - conveniently just outside warranty. I suspect they know they have a class actionable problem if they were to admit fault, thousands of these units have been made. If they ever admit to the fact they used the wrong material (as they should) it would be very expensive and bad publicity. They are hoping that apathetic customers in a throw away society will not have time to get past their rude lack of accountability. Look for another brand.9 comments

Terrible quality and customer service
After just 2 years the trampoline started leaving black marks all over my kids feet, knees and hands. They look like they have been working in a coal mine! This is not dirt, this is residue from the matt deteriorating. We have scrubbed the matt with springfree cleaning wash top and bottom with a broom and it has made no difference. As we are now outside warranty we have been told to purchase a replacement matt for $180. I don’t believe this to be acceptable for a trampoline worth over $1000. Assembly a nightmare!!!
Took a friend & myself over 4 hours to partially assemble the trampoline -- we had to resort to pulling the rods out of their slots some of the way then with great difficulty click them into the base, then we used a mallet to bash the rods back into their slots. Also, I question the safety aspect -- 10 year chipped his hip bone when playing on a friend’s.

Great product
Was on this site to get a review on a Tgoma. Was surprised to see such negative reviews for the springfree. I have a 3 and 8 year old and they both love it. it was their xmas present last year and we live on the coast so we get brutal weather, it still looks and feels new. Great design too. very safe and robust. Note I did paysome to install it properly.

A must for young kids!
I bought this trampoline gor my 3yr old. He absolutely loves it, and I love how safe it is. The quality is great and I love how there are no springs to pinch little hands or metal to damage little heads. I would definitely recommend this trampoline for a young family.

Keeps breaking, warranty not what it appears
I bought a Springfree r54 for my daughter who is chronically unwell, to relieve her anxiety. We had a Springfree installer come out knowing they were challenging to install. We got it because it was quiet, good warranty and, we thought, good quality. Couldn't have been more wrong.
After 6 months it started squeaking. Then we noticed broken rods. We were told we didn't maintain the trampoline properly. With Further investigation I found the mat had ripped all underneath.
Even though it was apparently our fault in "good faith" Springfree ...Read more
sent us 6 new rods and a new mat. We paid for both postages. I ordered about 14 new rods to replace the broken ones that they wouldn't cover under warranty, then when we took it apart to replace the mat, we discovered most of the rods were damaged. We really need to now replace every rod at a cost of $420. My daughter is so unwell. She needs a trampoline. I don't know what to do.5 comments

Love the trampoline - didn't love the installation part
The Compact Round is a great trampoline, the perfect size for our backyard, looks good and works as it should. We've only had it for two months but all bouncy and fun so far.
Putting it together however was a bit of a circus. We did it ourselves, carefully following the instructions and video. Nearly lost the will to live at one point. Putting the rods in is not easy peasy like the video. You have to be strong, in addition to having willpower not to throw the rods over the fence when it doesn't work the first, second or third time!

Expected a Better Quality Product for the Price
After 2 1/2 rears the stitching around the mat has come apart and the rods are corroded.
The company wants $185 for a replacement mat.
I understand that the company cannot regulate how a trampoline is used, however I can assure you this one was jumped on by two featherweight children both who are still under 7 years of age.
We have had trampolines that cost 1/4 of the price last 5 time longer.
I would not recommend spending the money if you are looking at it lasting for more than 2 - 3 years.
Was great at first
I wish I had bought from a different company and not made such a poor investment

Best investment!
Kids just love this trampoline - a self entertainer! Cannot compare to any other trampolines on the market. The quality is supurb & it looks great especially now the frame colour is black & not green as in earlier models. The service at Springfree was also very good. The only negative would be the cost as it is very high, however in saying that I still would pay it again to have a Springfree over any other trampolines on the market.
Quality, look & safety.
Expensive but worth it.

Questions & Answers
Louise Basked
My kids will be 10 and 8. Amateur gymnasts who enjoy flipping. We have only a small courtyard and whilst I know the compact oval would be a better size, is the compact round suitable for flips for this age group? Space is a premium unfortunately.
2 answers
my kids are 8 and 5(nearly 6), if they both on the trampoline, there is no way for them to do flips, jumping only, even with only one 10 years old kid I still quite doubt if there is enough room to do the flipping comfortably. My trampoline is Middle compact oval.
Springfree T.Springfree
Hi Louise,
We don't recommend flipping on the trampoline for safety reasons however we have found that our customers who have gymnasts prefer the oval shape to practice. If at all possible i would recommend trying to get to one of our displays so you are able to see the size and the kids can test jump the trampoline. My question relates to the new 10 year warranty. After reading reviews, I am concerned with the durability of the product and the countless customer service issues highlighted. I am particularly concerned with numerous complaints that have been made about problems customers have experienced after a few years and the responses from springfree that the warranty had expired (after only a few years??) - I would have expected Australian Consumer Law to protect consumers over and above any terms and conditions that might be stated at time of purchase given that it would be reasonable to expect a product costing what these trampolines cost to last longer than a few years and that a statutory warranty would apply?? So, can you confirm that the new 10 year warranty is absolute and will cover any product issues in that time period and please specify exactly what (if anything) is not covered? Also, what has changed with the product that has enabled you to offer a longer warranty?? Many thanks
5 answers
Springfree T.Springfree
Hi Connor, The new 10 year warranty is on trampolines purchased from September 2017 onwards. This covers each component of the trampoline from manufacturers defects for a period of 10 years from date of purchase. Please note that the ten year warranty is for the trampoline, not any accessories purchased. The warranty does not cover misuse or damage caused through lack of maintenance and shipping and assembly costs are not included as part of the warranty.
Our trampolines are designed and manufactured for outdoor use, and we are always looking for ways to improve our product and service including UV protection and protection against the elements to ensure that our product will last.
Should you require any further information, please contact our Customer Care team on 1800 586 772 to discuss our warranty.
Regards
The Springfree Team
My knee-jerk reaction, you should be suspicious about their warranty and post purchase customer service. We are disappointed and I wish I had the time and energy to take them to authorities. Older models were made with some low grade components - much lower than the price point would suggest you could reasonably expect. Owners of some older (not very old, guessing 2010 to 2015) units who supported the company and allowed them to prosper have issues with their purchases that the company is turning their back on. A component (not fit for purpose) breaks down and the knock-on effect pretty much results in a right off. Customer service is the ‘heading towards a NO in a blunt fashion’ type rather than an ‘appreciative, heading toward a yes’ type that I believe we should expect, given the cost of their products. Our concerns within warranty period were dismissed, despite the same issue being acknowledged outside warranty, when we were told it was too late to claim.
All of that said and though it pains me, a 10 year warranty is a serious statement that they have used my money and improved. Had ours been under warranty that long (or even half that) and customer service been fair, I would have no reason to be an unhappy customer.
We loved ours while it worked but now feel it was terrible value for money and on principle we would buy another brand.
Thanks for the POV I’m going to avoid the risk given all the concerns raised and go with a different brand.
