no it doesn't work anymore, so dont know if it blew the cord or the pot, I don't know the date exactly.. couple of years i would think.. we didn't use it that often either.

It's unlikely for the problem to be from internal parts so it could be the controller/cord. If you could message me your details, I can send a controller out to you to try.

nowhere in the booklet does it even mention roasting nor in any of the recipes is it capable of doing a roast

Hi Helen R,
To be honest I have not thought about doing a roast in it.
The main functions for this product are Deep Frying and to be used as a saucepan.
You could give it a go. Try searing the roast on high and then turn down low until cooked.
Worth the try...

Hi Doreen. Are you saying that the element doesn't heat at all or it's just not heating to your required temperature? You may need a new control probe. Please contact our customer care team on 1300 881 861 and they can further assist you.

Why do you advise 'DO NOT STORE OIL IN THE MULTICOOKER? We did do this with our previous deep fryer with no problem? What problems could be encountered?

Dear Sharon,
Thank you for your review.
The reason why we advise not to store the oil, is due to condensation when the oil is cooled. It could potentially cause the oil to splatter everywhere when turned on again. Should you require further clarification please contact us on: 1300 881 861.

I am pretty sure no-one should ever deep fry using anything with the lid on, it is dangerous.
