I was using the stick bender for pureeing some soup, and the motor just stopped and now will not start. I have not used my StickMaster Plus much, so it is not worn out.
Chopper attachment got water inside. How to get rid of it?
I purchased a Sunbeam SM7400 from Meyers and after relatively low usage the chopper attached failed .
When I opened it to look at the mechanism, the gear drive mechanism consists of three small plastic cog wheels which are not fit for purpose. The design is really disappointing as I thought I was buying a reputable brand.

I have a SM7400 stick that stopped since it is out of warranty I would like to get to the motor.
How do I open it.
I am an Electrical Engineer so I know what to look for.

The whisk won't stay in the housing...falls out when lifted verticle....no instructions re inserting it. When I ouah it in it just drops out when lifted. What's the problem??
It's a brand new gift...never used.

Insert the whisk attachment onto the motor base and rotate in a clockwise position until the two pieces are locked together. See illustrations on page 8:

I have no problem with the whisk housing, connecting to the motor section.

No, the whisk itself should not be 2 pieces. Please return the mixer for a replacement.
