Very comfortable but terribly hot in summer.
We bought our mattress in August last year and it was great until it got hot at night. We wanted to take it back after the first month and then realised that we did not have a waterproof mattress protector per the fine print in the bed shed contract. So we paid nearly $3000 for a dud.

beware of warranty hype
I have had mattress for a few years now. It was good at first even though the heat buildup is quite unbearable in summer and is still happening. Being new it was great for my back but then it started to develop "dipping" in both sides which has gradually gotten worse. I even tried rotating it constantly even though you are not supposed to have to do this. n it and this had apparently compromised the integrity of the mattress (I do have kids and a life and accidents do happen ).It is also a big king bed with problems on both sides and believe me when i say the stain did not cover the entire bed . Even though the the dipping had reached 2cm with photographic evidence taken by the tempur representitive they still refused my warranty. So then i tried to email both companies to say this was unfair but neither will even answer any emails now as they consider the case closed. I am actually in the process of taking this to consumer affairs but i know they will NEVER honour the warranty because it it bogus. PLEASE read the reviews for this company here and in America and you will see that i am doing what most of these people had to as well ...PUT MY $4000 MATTRESS OUT FOR RUBBISH COLLECTION because that it what it is. My new bed arrives tomorrow and my back cannot wait as this has been hell for me for months and months now but TEPUR and HARVEY NORMAN do not care. reason why you could not have sent me a personal email or even god forbid spoken to me as a real human.You worked out who i was, but chose not to speak with me but instead you chose to remain anonymous to answer my product review. Shame on you. Your company constantly spouts the gospel of the Tempur Warranty. If only the consumer were allowed, or even advised to read the warranty before buying, as maybe this mattress is not suitable to everyone. But you can only access this info after purchase . Buyer Beware I suppose. Also maybe if sales reps at Harvey Norman were honest they might say to people..... Are YOU AWARE IF ANY LIQUID COMES IN CONTACT WITH THIS TEMPUR MATTRESS THE WARRANTY IS VOIDED.... I don't believe as a mother of two young boys that i would ever have purchased this product if i had know this single piece of information. At No time EVER in my discussion with harvey norman sales rep was i told of the fact that i should use a waterproof mattress cover because if anything gets spilled on the product it is ruined. Do you really think i would have purchased such a mattress being the mum of two young children. No sales rep ever discussed specific points that void warranty. And of course harvey norman will not even discuss this with me just a text message to say case closed because temper said so.. That's it. No one will answer any emails anymore. Do you think maybe some product learning for the salesperson might be advantageous to the consumer??

Very comfortable
Very comfortable, as long as you can insulate yourself from the build up of heat during sleeping. Have used a 2 inch bamboo cushioned mattress liner which goes part way to achieving this end. Inquiry be email to Company Product Support brought no response, which unfortunately leads to us never purchasing Tempura products again.

In this case, you could be feeling the excessive heat during the night because of a number of reasons. TEMPUR is completely breathable and doesn't trap any air, therefore, as long as you have lower thread-count sheet sets and a wooden slatted or TEMPUR adjustable base, the heat from your body should be dissipated throughout the night. In regards to your emails to our support team, which email did you contact? Our customer service team are always there to help our customers and have a fantastic track record. the sales person said they owned, yer right!
Priced at over $4000 dollars the sales people were extra eager to sell this to me, like it had been on the floor a long time with the old sales pitch (i own this one myself ) .This bed is the biggest waste of money neither my wife or i have a decent nights sleep and their aint no 30 day trial ... like in other bed stores, it feel great to lye down on in the store but trying to to get a full nights sleep on its horrible, i will sell this bed lose a heap of money and never touch this brand again

ch I sink into like a hammock is only on one side. There is a firm foam underneath so I'm going to turn it and see if we can sleep on the foam. In winter this horrible memory foam turns into a block of ice and just as hard, then as your body heats the foam is melts but the hard surface around the sinking body stays high. As per our warranty, any liquid spilt on the mattress itself voids the warranty, this is due to any liquid that comes into contact with the mattress being soaked up by the visco-elastic material. Therefore, due to the large stain and admitted spillage on the mattress, our parent company (who processes warranty claims) automatically rejected the claim due to the lack of a valid warranty. We have a less than 1% return rate with millions of incredibly happy customers worldwide & I apologise that your experience hasn't been what you've expected, however, due to the lack of warranty we have no other avenue to attempt a claim on your product.
