I really love their product.I have seen friends photobooks from other companies but they do not come close to photobook club.I am so impressed with the quality of photobook club ( the quality of the paper you can feel it) that I would not order from any other company.I am by no means a computer savvy but I found it very easy to produce this book without the help of my teenage daughters.Would highly recommend .Delivery was prompt
quality of paper, reproduction of images(liked warning if images would be poor) quality of book
I would like to see a plain black gloss background page

recent photobook club purchase
we purchased 26*33 100 pages hard cover through living social website, was nervous to get them done because we used our wedding photos, program was easy to use for designing your own album, and only takes about 2 weeks between ordering to recieving, the quality is superb, we use HQ, definately better then we expected. would use again if e need to
nothing wrong with it just maybe it could be better with more optios for designing the album, althou it is just eough to make it look great

Excellent quality album, would definitely use again.
I have used this company twice now and have been really happy with the quality of the images and the paper that they are printed on. The images are very clear and the colours true to life. I have used two other providers and this was the best. The delivery was not as quick but the quality was worth the wait.
Excellent finished product.
Software can take some time to get used to.

Very quick service on receipt of book
The album we chose was hard covered - 100 pages - with around 500 photos. It was a lot of work sorting and rearranging the photos after they auto populated into the pre-set layout. In hindsight would have placed each photo individually, but the end result is still good. We chose not to put any text throughout the album as we didn't like/couldn't agree on the choice of fonts.
It was relativley easy to use and were surprised how quickly we received it.
Some of the photos were darker than they should have been. Would have been better if there were more page layout selections.

Good product. happy with results
The price was very reasonable, The softwear was easy to use. the product was delivered within a reasonable time fram, image quality was good. softwear indicated when a photo will be of poor quality so you can scale it down to compensate. i used quite a few scanned poor quality, old photos that still came out quite well.
even with mixed reviews i will try them again
software had layout limitations but could be manipulated to create different layouts not supplied

Good and reliable
I bought a voucher for an album with this company. For those who are familiar with PhotobookAustralia, this is the same program and I would imagine it's a related company. 123 cheese is another with the same or similar program. Only difference is in the page layouts, backgrunds available and that sort of thing. I found the program excellent,e asy to use. The quality of the paper was quite good. The printing was fine. The price was excellent. I got the album back quite quickly after ordering. It was a bargain really.
Good company to deal with.

Shame that the chances of seeing your book in real life is very slim!
They claim to respond to emails within 24 business hours... here's what I got - I sent two emails asking for help on 01-May-2012, got no response until six days later, on 07-May-2012. I sent another email on 03-May-2012 and got no response until four days later, on 07-May-2012. I replied to the emails immediately on the same day, 07-May-2012 and now today (10-May-2012) I still have no response from them.
So much for 24 hours! One or two days before a response I can live with, but this is ridiculous. The website is either faulty or a scam! I...Read more
can't go through checkout process to order anything. I can only get as far as "my account". Whenever I try to do anything from there, I keep getting asked to log in, so I do (continuously) and keep being taken straight back to the "my account" page. They aren't helping me at all. I went and read all this feedback on the internet (after I paid) and wow, I'm surprised and disappointed that what is happening to me has also happened to many, many other people. The layout of the book Im trying to get looks great on my computer. Easy to use. Ashame that the chances of seeing your book in real life is very slim!Similar opinion? Impressed
We used a voucher to try the product and the result was fantastic. I have had poor service from other providers before but this was not the case with Photobook. The software was simple to use, upload was easy and my book has arrived within a week of ordering. The result was excellent, I will use this provider again.
Very happy with all aspects of the process and thrilled with the result.

Want more $ to send something they never sent in the first place!
I would not waste my time nor money.
As with other reviews after a month of waiting, I emailed them asking where my book was.
The tracking number given to me was invalid! I was told after awhile that my parcel was rts.
What a crock! My delivery address is my work gpo box and nothing ever came.
No card, no parcel. I get told I can pay another $25 for it to be resent.
The voucher never cost me that much!

Poor
The first book I recieved had several errors (including having been cut well above the red cutting line indicated in the program and poor colour quality of the cover photo). After several emails I finally got a response in which they notified me that they would reprint. This was done promptly but the second copy had all of the same issues as the first plus extras! I emailed them on Monday, it is now Friday and I am yet to receive a response. I'd have been better off going to Kmart.

Fantastic service, quality and product
Not sure what everybody is complaining about. I received so far 4 soft cover books and 3 large hard covers. I must say that I have used other companies in the past and this is by far a better product than what is out there. The quality of paper is fantastic and the images are so clear that what I see on my computer screen is what I got on paper. I also used images from a DSLR (high resolution) and also a pocket size camera and sure with the pocket size camera you do get grainy images but it's not that bad (depends on your resolution size) m...Read more
y DSLR images were fantastic. I had an issue with with two of my soft cover books with the spine splitting & they responded to my email straight away and they replaced the books within days. I'm happy with my finished books and I do highly recommend The Photobook Club and will be a returning customer. And for those losing some of your images within the spine of the book, it's only common sense that this will happen. You have to take this into consideration when preparing your layout!! Take notice next time you open a book:) Value for Money too.... Affordable, excellent quality, quick printing and delivery timeSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Poor service, poor communication, poor all over
Not happy with the experience I have had with the photobook club. As other reviewers have mentioned, the service leaves a lot to be desired. They do not bother contacting you in a timely manner if something goes wrong and I couldn't even find a phone number for them on their website. I would avoid.

Mixed review - no communication!
I've had a good and very bad experience with these guys. The first hard cover 100 page I bought was wonderful - the photos turned out perfect, the software is easy to use (you can add your own backgrounds etc into the program) and arrived safely and on time. Be careful to check the quality of the photos you are using; my sister had some that turned out a little blurry but the program indicates images that aren't the best quality.
Now the bad: I ordered a book for my partner for Valentine's Day which was supposed to be shipped on 21 February ...Read more
and it STILL hasn't arrived (12 March)! Also the tracking number they supplied is not valid. I've sent emails and submitted queries on their "Support Portal" and they claim to "...endeavour to reply to all emails within 24 business hours." I sent in a message 10 days ago with no response! I also recently spent over $200 buying vouchers thinking the book would arrive and someone would tell me what's going on, but as I still haven't heard I'll be looking at getting a refund for those vouchers. 10 days to reply to a request is far too long! Even a quick, "We're looking into it" just to let me know something is getting done. So it's your money! I wouldn't recommend buying too many at a time, in case you experience the same difficulties as me. Easy to use software No communication, invalid tracking number1 comment
Since that one bad experience I've had really good transactions *touch wood*

Horrible, grainy poor quality printing.
I bought two vouchers for photo books from The Photobook Club through Our Deal. The program used is easy however very limited in background/colour/frame choice. Nowhere was it mentioned that if you put a photo across the middle of the book, which was encouraged in many templates, that it would be shortened by at least 2cm due to binding. This ruined a few shots (of my kids as babies). Also, they claim to be of very high quality. This is rubbish. While the covers look glossy with good picture quality, the pages of the book are very poor quality....Read more
None of the background colours match the screen and there is banding on all the pages but the real disappointment is the shocking degradation in my photos. Even on images taken with a semi-pro DSLR the noise (grain) and bleeding of colour from EVERY photograph is truly horrible. I would never buy this brand again, thank god I didn't pay full price! Cover loos ok, price on our deal ok. Extensive problems with poor image quality, software VERY limited.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

I have bought several gift vouchers in the past but now I cannot see how to send them to someone else.
Do I just buy it in my own name and forward it to them? I am sure I haven't had to do this in the past.
I cant change the delivery email address without changing my own.
