Rocks and small pebbles in leaf spring will make that creaking noise. Get a gurnee and spray your leaf springs around the bushes

Had mine looked at have rogue MY18. Took to dealer. They found no issues but told me
That they cut in at 30 degrees and cut out at 40 which is quite rubbish no wonder they don't seem to work properly

There was a fault with 2015-2017 timing chains, dealer should have fixed this fault and completed an upgrade.

None that I was aware of before buying and have not had any issues to date.

I would check for accident damage, as I don't think there would be any problems with a year old Hilux. Would pay to get a pre end of warranty inspection, just to see if there are any items that can be done under warranty before it expires.

My 2017 Hilux had the same problem. Research proved that the water sealing underneath the "control box" contained water, that caused one of the motors that operate the 4x4 engagement to break (within 10.000K's). Only spent 2 days in very wet terrain. This should not be happening to an almost new car. end of the month my dealer will start the repair. I was pretty angry, since I was about to cross the Sahara i marocco, now having only 2-wheel drive. I will wait with interest if this will be fixed free of charge.

I guess your dash looks like a Christmas tree now, with alle kinds of lights flashing all the time (mine does). It is no problem to keep driving (my dealer said).

My sons 2016 hilux Utes clutch burnt out less than 40000 km driving from home to work . He took it off road once an has never towed anything .warranty is not covering it an Toyota doesn’t want anything to do with it they said the clutch is wear an tear an due to neglect, he is up for $2800 an yet won’t give an explanation of why it suddenly went over night without warning

Same problem in my truck, toyota has replaced the tailshaft after a dozen visits to the delership, the truck runs really well for the first 3 months, after that the problem come back, so now Toyota is trying to say that how the car it is. The novel still going

Get the same thing. Same model as you. Toyota are saying to me that they are still waiting on a fix.. this is still going and been over 2 years now

Depending on what fuel you use, alot of Ute's fuel systems are different. Due to crap fuel we get it isn't designed to handle dirty fuel.

Sounds to me like the injector pump is failing, had the same issue with the px ranger, got fixed under warranty. Metal filings are not in the bowser.

Thanks for the replies, the entire fuel system has now been replaced and it still runs the same, now waiting for a compression test.
