Very bad service, useless!!! They can do nothing!! They know nothing!!! Spent 2 months to ask a cctv footage still can't get it,at beginning they said they can't ask a footage from a supermarket carpark. I myself went to police station 3 times, then police educate them they can fill a form to ask the footage, then they told me they can't get the signed form from another driver, because another driver knew it's their fault so they refused to sign, so they told me again they can't get the footage!!! They just ask me to pay the excess !!!!

they turn the policy as much as not to pay anything, the say full replacement if your car is new but they find a way not to pay, they don't consider the type of damage, just cost, if your car is limited version and has similar damage to a normal car, yours might not be written off because it's not cost effective for them to pay for a limited car, poor staff, poor management, Also Toyota is protecting them and advertising them

Utterly terrible
*New Zealand* - The entire experience was simply terrible. Zero customer satisfaction. Rushed and vague service. I still don't really know what would have happened to my hail damaged car. I used to be a big fan of Toyota but this has put me off the entire brand. Ive moved to a proper insurance company now.

Go somewhere else! Worst insurance company!
Have been charging for me Gap Cover for the past 2 years! I called them 2 years ago to cancel my car insurance cover entirely with them because I had sold my car and they were more expensive (for nothing extra) so I went elsewhere with my new car.
They are now refusing to back pay me for the 2 years because they apparently dont have record of the original phone call and cant prove that I told them my car at the time was sold!!!
They want my payout letter from my lease company?! This is absurd! Why would I pay a gap cover for something not insured with them!
Do yourself a favour and stay away from Powertorque insurance/Toyota insurance!

30% increase in premium in 1 year
Got my renewal for my Toyota Hilux - have been insured with Toyota Insurance for 5 years.
My yearly renewal went up 30%. I rang up to find out why. They told me it was due to cost of parts increasing, labor rates increasing etc. They told me there was nothing they could do and to shop around for a better deal.
I am in the customer services business - If I treated my customers like this I'd be sacked.
Will be insuring with someone else - particularly after reading the bad reviews!!

Do not buy Toyota insurance
Do not buy insurance with Toyota.
In the summer my parked car got hit by a disqualified driver during a police chase through the village and the damage meant I could not drive my car. The customer service provided by Toyota Car insurance was bad at the start and got worse as the weeks went on. EK for one to be available with myself making daily phone calls. This then affected my ability to get to work. Further phone calls to Toyota insurance with massive wait times just had them going around in circles repeating the same information. They gave me contradicting information saying they could not use my crime reference number to obtain details from the police and I would have to call them directly. The police said it was protocol for the insurance company to do this. Another wasted phone call. Toyota at Clifton Moor York were helpful but the communication between them and the insurers was a joke. My policy documents clearly stated that I would not need to pay an excess if hit my an uninsured/disqualified driver and yet the insurance could not confirm this. They also continued to bombard me with calls once my car had been repaired asking for the excess to be paid. The insurers said "you need to pay the excess and then it will be reimbursed" and so I politely refused as per my policy documents. Why have that as a perk of the policy if you would then need the money upfront to deal with it?! And so we are now 4 months after the claim and I have yet to receive any letter from the insurers explaining the process or whether they have managed to claim anything back through the motor insurance bureau. A COMPLETE LACK OF COMMUNICATION AND CUSTOMER CARE. DO NOT BUY INSURANCE WITH THIS COMPANY. Please note however that my Toyota car and service from Toyota Clifton Moor is 5 stars and I would buy a car from them again. Just not the insurance!Similar opinion? Never get Toyota Insurance
I have had nothing but trouble with Toyota insurance I gave them 3 chances and now no more
1 They claimed we did not pay our insurance one year even when we showed them our bank statements it still went on for a mouth
2 They also did the same with the roadside assistance
3 I had someone hit my car and Toyota sent my car to one of there repairers and when I went to pick up the car they did not fix everything they were meant to and the paint was a complete different colour

Sloppy & impersonal
Impersonal and sloppy processes and weak communicators. Toyota lost my recent excess payment and threatened legal action when it was already there for weeks. No apology when they found it.

Useless and dodgy
If you have a novated lease with TFM change your policy.
Lumped with this policy on a novated lease on a fairly expensive modified car. Minor damage to the front suspension. Got my own quote at a company that would use the right parts.
Adica lied initially to have the car taken to a fly by night smash repairer and arranged a tow as told no choice of repairer.
They tried to tow my car without telling me from my repairer before they could finalise the quote.
Staff in Dispute Resolution especially Chad are rude, disrespectful and talk over you.
As soon as the car is back, cancelling the policy.

Horrible and unprofessional. My partner and I both purchased this insurance with our new cars. I was asked if I'd had a claim in the past 3 years with another vehicle. I disclosed no only cosmetic damage caused by myself. I put a claim in (again cosmetic) months later and was penalised for not having the previous one one my record... even after having disclosed it. The finance lady may have been doing me a favour but it cost me a lot in the long run.

I would give 0 stars if it was possible
Terrible, no communication. Waited 8 months to get car fixed only to be told that they wont be fixing. Call center doesnt know what the f they doing. Stay away

Worst insurance company.Save yourself the trouble and insure with someone else
Bad customer service altogether.
Poor communication with customers.
Unavailable over the phone,called them a number of times only to wait a long time on the phone.
Request call back and send email but they never responded.
Called to complain,they noted the complain and said they'll follow through but never happened so I moved on and now insured with a different company and paying cheaper.

Incompetent claims Department Staff.
I have had insurance with Toyota since June 2015. I made a claim recently which was lodged over 6 weeks ago. I have rang the insurance company over 8 times to get it through. The other driver In the accident was ringing me constantly because Toyota insurance would not process the claim. They virtually did nothing to help myself or the other poor person. They also do not communicate with each other and there is no accountability for poor service and inaction on their part. If I had not gave them a ring, my claim would have sat in their to do basket for ever.

This company cancel my policy without letting me know. I wasn’t aware of my car running on streets without insurance for almost one year. When accident happened last month, they pushed me away without concerning my driver sitting in a car wreckage in the middle of streets needs help. So much more.... Disgusting policy terms n conditions...Bad service n impolite staffs n awful customer service....Turning other people misfortune becomes his fortune.... Following where money goes, oh what a Terrible feeling....

Few weeks ago my parents dropped their car off for a service at Noble Toyota. The mechanic involved in an accident with another Noble Toyota vehicle. Noble Toyota lodged a claim through their insurance provider, Toyota Insurance since my patents are in a bailment relationship with Noble Toyota

Noble Toyota prepared a response to Toyota Insurance with evidence about the market value of the car. Toyota Insurance's assessor called us back. He is very aggressive, rude and unreasonable. He said he has considered the response from Noble Toyota, but was not able to increase the offered value. He said that is the value according to his calculation. He was forcing us to use our insurance. My parents are in their 70s and don't cope well with stress. While we try to help them as much as we can, they are stressed out from the uncertainty and things that they need to do from their end. Disgusting policies, followed by disgraceful employees who don't care
We paid thousands of dollars on our fleet of vehicles for insurances per year through Toyota - only to be refused cover on a technicality, I am shocked how an organisation can have no leniency in awkward situations. THey don't explain their policies correctly, and frankly don't care if you find yourself in trouble.

Complete rip off - stay well clear
My comprehensive premium has gone from $791 in 2016 to a quote of $1,263 in 2022 despite the fact that I have a top tier no claims bonus rating of 1 (5+ years).
Finally called today to question the increase and they were hopeless - all the answers came from a script and when they took me through how they calculate the premium i was able to explain how on each count I should be seeing a reduction in premium, not a nearly $500 increase in 3 years!!!
