Just love the new car, and if toyota keep making such great cars, we will keep buying them. Good job toyota
We just brought a 2007 turbo diesel and I couldnt be happier. We had a 2002 petrol prado and it was very very very thirsty. Love the interior and exterior of the 2007 model. We love the prado so why change models when you are happy with the product and the servicing.
The service fees between dealers can be huge. I saved over $150.00 for just one service. Shop around for your services.

WE have bought out Prado Grande 2 weeks ago, 2nd hand, and we all love it. it is like riding in a lounge chair. I have a Chrysler PT, and now we fight over who takes the Prado. Very comfortable. QUESTION: Does anyone know how to upgrade the GPS, it needs to be upgraded, as we are in the country and there are alot of areas not on there.
Fantastic vehicle. So comfortable.
Bigger to wash!!

Good
Very happy with the car, and would recomend it to any one who wants a real 4 wheel drive, and comforts of a car.
Very comfortable, drives much more like a car than some large 4 wheel drives
Good options package, and love the dual climate control
Visability out the back of the car is not perfect

It's just a very nice vehicle on and off road. Comfy, takes all the camping gear and more. We have driven off road numerous times and the body work is just the best. Love it!!!
Looks good, drives well. Just love everything about this little beaut!!! Model 2004, had it since new.
Can't afford a newer model at this point in time but saving like mad!!!

a great family car, smooth on city and open roads. rear parking sensors great especially for tight fitting city parking. is a well known brand of car ..definatley would buy
reliable, economical, plenty of room for the family, seats now go down into the boot. Price reasonable and some great metalic colors to choose from. doesnt eat fuel, sits well above the roads allowing great views of traffic ahead.
boot size is ok but not that great when the rear seat is required. used to be a 8 seater car however with newer model where seats go into the boot car now seats only 7 people.

Terrible
Hate it.
Nothing... This is a continuation of a previous review. I forgot a couple of other bad things about the car.
In response to the chap who critcised me for bagging a vehicle that I don't own, where does it say that you must own an item to review it? And to the same person... I am a communications technician by trade and I know what I am talking about when I say that the radio antenna in the rear windows of the Prado is crap. I didn't even bother to mention that it is directional as well, meaning that the direction in which the car travel...Read more

When we have finished with our current Prado - we will certainly be upgrading to a newer model, as we really enjoy driving the Prado and find it very comfortable, it meets our needs and comes with all the standards and extra's we need and want.
We loved the Prado as soon as we test drove it - for a large heavy car it drives so easily and doesn't feel 'heavy', it is also not as loud as some other 4WD. It has a lot of space, both leg space front and back, and in the back of the car. THe seating is very comfortable, it has handy drink holders, a h...Read more

OK
It's a SUV that is more prestigeous, stronger in any kind of way, easily handling in high way and hilly road, its interior is the most comfortable, its body is looked wild and mature.
Its handling, power, and interior
the body is too long and huge, can't be drived on small road

You would think the petrol matters you can always change it to gas that way the money doen't go to waste. Love the car in all ways can't let go of it.
Love the Looks, spacious inside and even more space in the boot if you don't have alot of people inside the car there is also the folderble chairs at the back. Many various ontrols in the car, nice strong engine for a 4 wheel drive, and useful in many ways. Good for off road uses and on road uses. Interior loks good feels good and is good.
This vehicle is too thirsty and with petrol rates so high, you could barely use it.

All in all, I would reccommend it. Big side mirrors which I love. The car is pretty roomy inside but adults have complained about having to sit in the seats at the very back! Not to bad on petrol at the moment, two tanks.drink holders front and back are a good idea.
We have a big family (5 children) and it fit's us all in comfortably. The air-con works well, hot and cold. Also, we can drive just about anywhere and not have to worry about scraping out.
I have to say the only thing that really annoys me is that there is no room inside the car for luggage, you have to get roof racks

the prado is a vehicle that can give you an advantage in many ways. when you live in the philippines and it floods a lot suv,s are it. and also the pristege that this vehicle give is A ok. you cuold ask our mayors and congressmen.
nice body nice looks and drives well both in dirt and pave roads. it gives the owner that manly appeal that no other suv in its class gives. (others are good but almost feminine)
nothing i cant think off except maybe the standard tires are bit small but that can be change anytime

I am thrilled with the Prado V6, it doesn't get much better than this in quality. I considered every 4WD wagon and dual cab ute, even patrol and new Pathfinder, but decided on Prado for long term dependability because I have to pay for it out of my own hard earned cash, and can't afford any regrets.
solid as a sherman tank, and so smooth and rattle free. Powerful V6, great 5 speed auto.
low front wheel travel, not sure about front looks.

Its a great car with plenty of room. The thing I dont like is that you have to have it serviced at a toyota dealership otherwise your warranty is void. Since that costs a fortune makes it hard on the average family. But overall i do like the car. Would swap it for my own anyday.
I like the prado. Roomy interior. Smooth drive. Pulls a float comfortably.
Fuel economy. Toyotas warranty.
