Beware
Ordered tap ware and basin months ago. Gave them a $500 deposit as requested. No taps, no basin and no communication forthcoming after my chasing this up for weeks.
Lots is nonsense about the supplier not knowing when the taps would arrive yet also no feedback on the basin which would have been via a different supplier?!?
Visited store to request refund after my builder who had waited for weeks had to cancel because of no tap ware or basin.
Hard to find record of sale,$500 deposit or order so record keeping appalling.
But wait there’s more……...
Read more.and worse, They used my eftpos card to complete refund but still no refund in account after two days. Rang store who assured me refund would appear last night…..still no $500!!!!! Beware as I have a feeling things are not good. If you place and pay for an order don’t expect a refund or your goods or a reasonable explanation. Go elsewhere.- Product Quality

Would never shop here again
Bought bathroom fittings online assuming they were in stock and ready to ship. 2 months later I was still chasing up the status of the order. Ended up requesting a refund and received an email that this had been processed. Over a week later and still waiting for the funds to be returned. I will never shop at tradelink again.

Worst customer service ever
I asked for samples of brushed brass. Was told that there is million types of brushed brass. After finally confirming I’m talking about a colour, was told it’s basically the same as brushed gold. No further assistance given. Extremely unhelpful and nasty

I'll never use Tradelink again.
I'll never use Tradelink again. I ordered tapware and items online for a bathroom reno back in mid April, which I thought was plenty of time before the reno starts in mid May. I had to constantly chase them on the status of the order, and got the shower/bath mixers just in time to put into the wall by the plumber (wouldn't have made it, if I didn't get on them myself). Now it's June, and I'm still waiting on half the order to arrive, and I have to chase them up myself yet again!
I paid for this stuff up front back in April, on the assumption that it's all in stock, thinking that I'll get everything ready for the reno, so I don't have to chase things last minute - wrong.

the worst experience ever
I ordered a cooktop online, after I picked up from store, my cooktop back to normal, so I quickly returned it within 30 mins. I was charged 20% for return this back, I was told that is their policy. Never shop with tradelink again.

Dreadful dealings with Belmont store and with online ordering
I have had recent dealings with two Tradelink stores and also with an online order. My comments do not relate to the Osborne Park store as I have had a good experience with staff there.
My comments relate to the Belmont store and the online ordering process (and my order is to be delivered to Belmont).
Belmont store staff do not appear to know what they are doing. I was told my mirror (which I had purchased over the phone with the Belmont store) was ready for collection. I duly turned up and staff took 20 minutes to locate my order both on th...
Read moree system and in the warehouse. As Tradelink had not sent me a confirmation of this purchase when I purchased the mirror (odd in itself), I had to find the email my bank had sent me when I had purchased it so they could search by the price value. With respect to my online purchase of a toilet (which is to be delivered to Belmont), I was told by a Belmont staff member a few weeks ago that it would be delivered the following Friday as there was one part still to arrive. I rang Belmont several days after the expected arrival date to be told that they had no idea what I was talking about and there must have been some miscommunication. Given the staff member had rung me back with very specific details about the toilet, I consider that there was no misunderstanding on my part but a whole lot of rubbish told to me on the staff member's part. So still no toilet and whilst I understand completely that there have been massive disruptions across the Nullarbor, I still got told rubbish by the staff. Plus, unlike anything else I have ordered online, the Tradelink online ordering process does not give you email updates on whether the item has been dispatched or where it even is. Instead I have to speak to Belmont staff. The last time I spoke to them (last week), I was told the toilet is on back order. I said that to date I had been told the item had actually been dispatched and was en route across the Nullabor i.e. it was not on back order. The staff member back tracked and said yes that it has been dispatched but who knows. Certainly, as the online system gives no updates and Belmont staff do not seem to be on top of things, I don't expect to see this toilet anytime soon.- Customer Service

I wanted to add to this review because I ended up calling head office in Qld and spoke to an extremely helpful woman who rang the supplier for me and was able to ascertain that the toilet had left the...
Read more suppliers in early Feb but unfortunately the freight business used did not use individual tracking numbers so no one knew where the toilet was. So not so much a problem with Tradelink as with the freight company. So my tip is call head office if you want to know where your online order is! Then, by a strange twist of fate, later on the same day Belmont staff rang to say the toilet had arrived and they would deliver it to me immediately free of charge given the issues experienced. So hats off to them too.- 5 reviews

Disaster
Service was very poor. 7 day delivery turned into 26 days with continuous chasing from my side.
The order was finally delivered by [Name Removed] who took over the matter and resolved it with professionalism and empathy.
Would not deal with Tradelink again unless it is directly with [Name Removed]

Unhelpful and avoid this Tradelink shop at Bannister Road, Canning Vale, Western Australia.
Bought a flexible anode from Tradelink at Bannister Road, Canning Vale, Western Australia. I was handed a broken flexible anode and when I tried to return for a refund I was told that I broke it. The anode did not come with any packing. I assumed a flexible anode flex and did not ask any questions when I was handed the anode. The assistant manager, Gary Oldham, refused to admit that he handed me a broken anode and outrightly refused to refund me. My advice is avoid going to this store for anything. I'm bringing my complaint to the Department of Commerce Consumer Affairs of Western Australia.
If you have similar experience, please share it to bring them to justice.

Terrible
Sold us a bath on special then 2 weeks later told us they sold too many of these baths. Offered us a lesser quality replacement. Could of told us 2 weeks earlier and saved us from plumbing in for that specific bath. Terrible customer service

Tradefink
I needed to order a greywater lid and rang the Ipswich store. Gave them the manufacturer and part number. "We'll get back to you," was their reply. They did and said it would take 3 or 4 days to get to their store. Had to give a 20% deposit, which is fair, as I said I wasn't going to pay the full amount.
Two weeks later, I rang and asked about the delay. They had no idea. "We'll get back to you," was their reply. They did eventually, blamed the supplier and said it would be in store within two days. Four days later they rang to say that it was...
Read more ready for collection. Funny thing is that the delivery order note attached to the lid was dated the day after I rang about the delay. Took my deposit immediately over the phone - very efficient and then they didn't process the order. Offered no apology, preferring dishonesty. As for the colourful language coming from the forklift driver's mouth because he was angry with a fellow worker, I am pleased I didn't have any children with me. I'm no prude, but that is not appropriate behaviour in public. Suggests a hostile work environment and reflects their customer service attitude. Will NEVER buy from them again.- Customer Service

Customer Care terrible! Lack of effective systems for online purchases.
What an absolute shocker of a customer experience with Tradelink!! I’ll definitely be choosing to shop with The Blue Space in future where the customer service is phenomenal.
The email address <[email protected]> is actually a “noreply” email address I discovered after a very strange “customer care” lady finally said she was aware of this issue but not before repeatedly saying she didn’t have any emails from me even though she knew why.….. I told her I replied to the order email and spelt the email address I’d used a couple of time...
Read mores and she just kept saying “well there’s no email here” as though I was making it up?! So weird. Eventually she said she’s told IT that the email address doesn’t go anywhere. Why didn’t she say that to me at the outset instead of arguing with me about whether I sent an email or not?? Very strange. I was phoning because I’d emailed a couple of times trying to ascertain whether the products I ordered were actually available or not. I explained this to her and said I knew Caroma was in short supply and it’d been nearly two weeks since I placed my order so I wanted to know if I needed to find alternative products or not. Her response to this was: “well it doesn’t matter because if we don’t have them no one will”. Sorry for wasting her time trying to find out if I can get my order or not! Wow! I told her I felt like she was being rude to me and she then turned very passive aggressive with a big “have a great day!!” before transferring me to my local shop to check on the order. She had kept saying to me that my order “hasn’t been touched” but when the store finally answered they said the order is ready to be picked up….. lucky I phoned because I would not have known otherwise. The lady in the shop said the notification is probably in my junk mail or something but it’s not…. And why didn’t the customer care lady also have it listed that the order was ready for pickup??? Surely that would be on the system?? Maybe the store forgot to update the order or something simple like that but what an absolute shocker! I got off the phone quite upset by the confrontation of the first lady and total lack of “niceness”. IT needs to fix their systems for sure. But this customer service lady could choose to be A LOT friendlier and helpful, not argumentative and downright rude.- Customer Service

Extortionate restocking fee
I purchased a sink from Tradelink and discovered that it was actually too big for my project, so I asked if I could return it and order a smaller sink at a much higher price. Tradelink charge a 20% restocking fee! They can keep the big sink, penalise me the restocking fee, but I won't be purchasing the smaller more expensive sink, or anything else from Tradelink.

Do everyone’s job for them ...
I’m a single woman with no male contacts. I purchased a toilet at Tradelink Broome and because I couldn’t carry it upstairs alone, the manager assured me that I could leave it at the store for the plumber to pick up. Plumber arrived at my place without the toilet claiming that I had picked it up as the manager remembered putting it in my car for me. He even had the audacity to get the plumber to check the back of my car to make sure the toilet wasn’t there. I should have done the manager’s job for him and asked him to put a sign on the box - ‘Paid: To be collected’. To be fair, the Manager did deliver the toilet himself once he reluctantly acknowledged his mistake.
