Brought 2 GDVR8T80's for family and myself. Cameras and remote viewing works well, but play back is absolutely garbage and lags like hell. I'll never buy their products again. They must have known there was a problem and continued to release the product

This product is ok if you just want to have the cameras running and only view them on a screen that’s directly plugged into the DVR. But if you want to see your cameras remotely, forget about it. It took me 4 hours on the phone with a Telstra Platinum guru to try and work out how to view the cameras through the Guardian Live app. The guardian help line was little too no help and had very basic understanding of their own app. Once we worked it out it worked for a few days but then for no reason the app stopped working. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone who needs to see their cameras remotely.

I purchased cameras two years ago. Model Number GDVR4T40 I cannot find these cameras listed on the review site. They are by far the worst bit of junk I have ever purchased. If their other models are the same look elsewhere. I have rung their 24 hour service number numerous times they always give me different answers and after about an hour they sometimes get them to work however they do not work for long. I have contacted Telstra and they have checked their systems and all ok. I will take them out photograph them and put a warning out on the internet. Leave them alone go Swan or any other brand but not Uniden through Guardian live.
