Hi
Sorry I've not needed to buy one as yet. However I would try Godfreys and see if they keep the batteries or even Every Ready batteries online

Hi Peter
Have you contacted the Vax it should still be under warranty. there is a little blue button where the trigger is have you used it. I have found it helps clean better have you checked the filters if they're blocked. I've had no trouble I was only using the trigger but have since found the little blue lever if used it cleans much better.
But I would contact the company it shouldn't loose suction so quickly. hope this is of some help

How can I clean out the dirt behind the motor above the handle? I know it won't charge if the filters need cleaning, but how do I get that dirt out that is sitting behind the plastic grate? Surely I don't have to take the whole thing apart?

Just leave it plugged in when not in use. Lithium batteries in all these machine are smart, contain intelligent circuitry and they will quit charging once fully charged. Power adapter just provides power to the unit.

Hi Nancy I haven’t experienced any problems with running time. I would suggest you contact where you got if from and get a replacement. Yours may be faulty but mine works perfectly.

I purchased a Slim Vac vx58 on 20/12/17 (4 months ago) from the Good Guys in Hervey Bay. It has been working really well until this weekend when it started making a much louder noise. I took it into the shop today and we made sure all the filters were clear but this has not stopped the noise. Do you have any suggestions please?

I had this experience just recently and I noticed that the Slim Vac was not sucking well either. I took apart the filters etc and cleaned it. It made no difference. Then I found that a splinter of fire wood ( it’s cold in Victoria! ) had caught in the bottom of the vac and nothing was getting past it. I cleaned it out and it’s working well again. Noise gone too.

After every use I wash and completely dry the filters. If there is a problem we found the Good Guys were happy to exchange for a new one as per consumer protections.
