You have hundreds of comments saying this think is faulty and leaks. I have used this thing once and it leaks everywhere, leaks isn't even the right word... It pours... Pours water out of it like a faucet... Why are you still taking peoples money?! Why have you not figured out that these things should not be sold. I don't want a 40$ night light! And you don't give refunds just send us the same junk product. Ugggggg.

First night used the humidifier and worked great. Second night did everything the same as the night before .. turned it on for my daughters and left the room and few hours later went to get into bed and stepped in a huge puddle of water. The entire tank was full and emptied on my floor. I did not move or tip this machine over but noticed it was leaking from holes on bottom. Absolutely horrible machine please save your money and don’t buy. Scared me that it leaked water around electrical outlet.. could have hurt my twin girls

Have my starry night v3700 on my nightstand. The cool air (on low) blew across the nightstand and right onto me. Since I had acute bronchitis I thought this would be excellent for my cough. What happened however, is the moisture coming from the lower part of the machine onto me, made my pillow & the shoulder area on my nightgown all wet! I haven't had any leakage as other complaints....just too much moisture on low. The machine sat about 3' from my bed.

I got this because my daughter has asthma and keeps coughing at night, it has helped a lot with her cough!!! But it's quite noisy I guess it saves buying a white noise machine haha. Easy to use and runs all night, Two settings high and sleep mode, and The Star light very straight forward.

1st use. Read all instructions. The product has 2 holes in the bottom and leaks everywhere... ugh! I'm so disappointed. I was using for my children with asthma. I reread instructions. No mention of the leakage from the two holes at the bottom. You can put a pinch of water In The container or use for the night light. What is the point of can't be used for the main purpose.

Star nightlight, humidifier, and a white noise machine? Perfect option for my children. The first time I used it, all three of the humidifiers leaked. I wish I would of read the reviews before I made the purchase. This is very frustrating because two out of my three children are not feeling so well.

Worked great last year which was when I purchased it. Turned it on with new filter yesterday because of a stuffy nose and woke up in the morning to see it had leaked all over the place. So disappointed because it really helped me a lot last year and cannot afford to just go out and buy another one:(

First time I used the starry night, it leaked on to the floor, called Vicks, told to wait for a new machine as they didn't do refunds, this faulty product was the last machine at my chemist, couldn't get a replacement from them, one month later and still waiting on a new machine. Having to replace the water and empty out the excess water that has leaked every hour, I'm very unhappy with the quality of the product and the long wait for a replacement. Big waste of money and the product has lived up to its bad reviews. Very frustrating being unable to use the product effectively whilst my son is sick. Would rather have been refunded to go and buy a different brand machine. Extremely dissatisfied in the quality and how they resolved this issue.

I thought humidifiers were suppose to bring moisture in the air not take it away? I followed the directions to a T. Let's just make things clear...I haven't had a nose bleed since I was a little girl and my first night using this I got a nose bleed and my mouth and nose and throats felt so dry and cracky and my lips are chapped. Will not be using this on the newborn and risk him getting sick like this. I will be returning to babybunting tomorrow as this product does not do what it says (humidify or create a nice atmosphere as even the quiet setting kept me awake). Didn't leak like some of the other reviews.

Waste of money. Used it twice and it leaked all over my cabinet and onto the floor.
The cap that screws onto the water chamber has to what I can describe, melted! And will no longer unscrew.
I didn't keep my receipt so am out of pocket $85, the pharmacy I purchased it from couldn't help me either.

I wish I had seen these reviews before I bought this product! I thought it would be good because it is cool air = safer? So my kids love the stars, but that's about the only positive I can see. The filters get ruined so quickly and then you're up for another $15 for more filters. There should be a bigger warning on the box or from retailers so you U know that there's going to be ongoing expense! Other humidifiers I've had haven't required this. It leaks and blows out cold air. With the invisible air, you don't get that sense of moisture in the air like warm humidifiers provide. Unfortunately this was pretty much a waste of money and im going to buy a new, different type, humidifier.

Bought in winter of 2015. Worked well- have followed directions for 2 years- Changing the filter and using on floor. Filled with water last night per normal- leaked water all over carpet from front of machine-all water came out of machine. Not wroth the money. Filters also need replacing often and are expensive.

The cap has failed after 2 years but leaked some last winter. It ruined my nightstand. It is unusable now unless the cap is replaced. I am not sure I will buy another Vick's product. This is my second one. The first did not have adequate misting and leaked done also.

I bought it yesterday and I just used it for the first time at night. Product worked well, no leak no wet walls or furniture. My daughter complained about the noise, she is 8 years old. She said she does not want it in the room as it is too noisy and keeps waking her up at night. Also complain about the star light when the red colour comes it makes the room very dark for a second. She did not enjoy the constant change of brightness so I had to turn off this feature. This is just our experience.

Don't dare move it while it still has water in it. It will leak everywhere out of a small outlet hole in the bottom of it - by design. The night light stars are good and the cool mist does what it says, but the leakiness of it makes it functionally useless.
