I have 4 gold class discounts tickets and 3 normal discount tickets which has an expiry date of 30th March 2020. Will these tickets have an extension on the date?

My prompt enquiry from Village is they have extended my expiry date from 31May20 to 31Oct20.
My tickets expired 30th March not May. Does that mean you only get 5 months extension on the date? What if things don't go back to normal until the end of the year?

I have the same question. My Gold Class vouchers also expire on 31.3.20
I would like an immediate answer from Village that there is at least a 6-12 month extension.

Completed my details and let Village know I expect them to extend the expiry date by 6-12 months. Due to Covid-19, Village closed on 23.3.20 (prior to our expiry date) so I think they will have to offer us an extension.

My vouchers expired on 31.3.20 but the cinemas closed on 23.3.20
Village emailed me back very quickly.
My vouchers have a new expiry date of 30.9.20

Yes. If you are lucky. Don't save them for a good movie or you'll end up out of date with village pocketing the money and leaving you with nothing but a useless piece of plastic. I don't recommend these as gifts for anyone

12 months from "purchase date". In the USA gift card laws are different allowing 5 years. I guess we in Australia are just easy targets for being ripped off. Avoid buying these. I threw away 2 x $100 ones because they were out of date. Village are scumbag thieves

I had to go to the cinema, we planned to use the gold crown and was told I would have to go to that cinema which was a real inconvenience, I do not encourage gift vouchers for gold class as they seem to be more trouble than they’re worth

I misplaced my $180 gold glass gift cards. Have receipt for transaction. Village say they can track and cancel thr giftcard (so noone else can use), but cannot provide a replacement.
Has anyone had any luck fighting this? (My error misplacing card, but if they can track to cancel, they can track and rrplace in my opinion!). TIA

Probably not you would need to contact the closest theatre and ask if they would honor it. Millions of dollars a years are gleaned by companies that hope you will not use before the expiry date. Good Luck.
Unlikely as Village are not caring or considerate
We went to The Rivoli in Camberwell the lass there said we could use it till the end of February 2020 which is two months over the expiry, but said if you go on line you may get six months .

This is the most stupid question. Of course NOT, they're both different companies. That's like asking if you can use a Coles gift card at Woolies. Trust me, go to Hoyts, they have reclining chairs in all their cinemas.
