I've always known that the Vitamix was the superior food blender with such a powerful motor, and was stoked when I was gifted this from my husband - he used to always complain about the protein shakes I made as he could still crew some of the ingredients. He has been happily drinking my shakes since - the only complaint is that the shake is not sweet enough.

It's fantastic for soups (hot) and smoothies (when you want he whole fruit in the drink rather than juicing).

Highly recommended. I had a friend that was trying to introduce me to the Thermomix and I declined, as I have no need for another piece of kitchen equipment.

This is a blender and a food processor! We make green smoothies, margaritas, and pestos with this beast and will for years to come. It has more power than you'll know what to do with. Buy nice, or buy twice.

We previously had a cheap knock off version which we blew up accidentally trying to make ice cream (just couldn't do the job). We opted for a Vitamix instead and haven't had a problem with it. We mostly use it for raw slices and smoothes - but it can also crush ice really easily. It's also quick and gets things smooth - no lumps and bumps or flakes from dates or blueberries etc. We feel like we will get a lot more use out of it too. It is a quality product. It is noisy - but that's what you expect from a high performance machine!! We keep it on the bench constantly as it looks sleek and is easily matched to other appliances (we bought the stainless steel version). Highly recommend. It's worth the money.

An Amazing, high quality machine makes fantastic smoothies & much more! I wouldn't waste money on anything else cheaper - the Vitamix is good value for money - nothing compares! We use daily & even took it overseas in our luggage when we travelled Europe in a Campervan for a year!

I got given this and wow. It is so powerful and makes the best smoothies and raw cakes. The only downside is its a bit hard to get everything out of and clean but I just need to get a spatula to go around the blades.

I keep it up on the bench top, but easy to store. High levels do get noisy, Easy to use, settings are simple

It was a fantastic purchase. Makes smooth soup, baby food, smoothies and ice cream. However, do have to buy an extra dry jug to blend dry stuff which was around $150 :( the rotator on the machines will losen after few months of use, and that can make lots of noises while blending, just need to tighten it

We purchased this ready for pending baby to make purées and also to make soups and smoothies. It's powerful and the jug is really big. It's an investment but if you are sure you will use it heaps, then it's well worth it.

This is an excellent blender that can almost do every thing! It is powerful but very noisy. It can blend the fruit into very fine smoothie in 5 sec, it can also blend dry ingredients like wheat into flour which is amazing. I use it almost everyday so far, pretty happy with it.

Best blender on the market. Reliable and sturdy it's a must in my kitchen!!!!! I use it everyday and i haven't had any complications what so ever. I only wished it wasn't as loud! However, I make everything from salad dressings, smoothies, soups, ice cream, dips and pesto and they've all turned out amazing because of the power of the motor in this blender! Must must must have if you are a serious food lover or recipe obsessed!!!

I bought my Vitamix when I saw the demonstration at an MBS in Sydney. It's so noisy I wake everyone in the house if I use it in the morning for shakes so I don't. When I do use it, if I use it for a few minutes it cuts out I have to wait around 5 min to continue using it. I put up with it because I paid a good $960. I regret buying it.

I have to say this was the best Christmas present ever. We live in a cold climate where people often get colds and flus. I've had a viral cough infection twice and both times the medication was not working. So I decided to blend juices using fruit and veg with antioxidant properties. Immediately I could feel the difference in my chest. As if a heavy weight had been lifted. This is the best appliance in my house and highly recommend to any family especially ones with young childre.

I've had my Vitamix blender for a few years now and can I say BEST purchase ever. This blender has been on A food journey with me. I've made ice cream, chopped meats, nut butters, almond and cashew nut milk, pankcakes, soups, dips and of course smoothies. I purchased the dry jug a year later and then started making my own almond meal, pizza dough, icing sugar, spice mixes and grated cheeses. I'm so impressed and it's lived up to its power and quality. Look no further .. Vitamix is a winner all round

I just love my vitamix I make the best soups,sauces,dips,smoothies,sorbets, butters, pesto the uses are endless as far as your imagination can go highly recommend and have never regretted buying it

I love my Vitamix, it can make smoothies, ice cream, soups, vegan cheeses, blends spinach & kale without a problem. Cannot imagine how I survived before buying it about 5 years ago.

I use my Vitamix at least once a day...............It makes me the best fruit & veg smoothie for lunch most days.
Has probably already ground some wheat to flour to make some bread in the morning or ground some herbs I dried.
If my grand-son is around I may have made him some mango ice-cream. The dry jug is just great for so many things and gets lots of turns. Thanks you for a fabulous product.......best thing I have ever bought.

Where I live it is very hot. I love that I can prepare food without having to cook. My vitamix is easy to clean and store.
